  Make sure that you are logged on the Adobe site, having cookies enabled, clearing your cookie cache.  If it fails to connect, try to use another browser.

  UPDATE: I've uninstalled and reinstalled the cloud creative app download. It seems to have downloaded and installed fine but when I go to download a trial app, that nothing is happening, and I don't know what to do. The creative cload window opens in my mac, and that's all. All of the suggestions.

  I also noticed that the CC icon on the title bar top of my mac remains dim, don't know if that's a problem. The only options it gives me is using, open as a window and close creative cloud. What gives?

  Huh... frustrating indeed.

  Error 403 sometimes arises with the creative cloud, but Captivate is no desktop app not part of the CC. I would hazard a guess that there is a problem with the Download Manager. Just to be sure, if you don't have it already done, try to send the form using the latest version of another browser like Firefox or edge. Make sure you have a stable connection to internet (ideally by cable) and temporarily disable any firewall/anti-virus security. Some more tips on downloading can be found here: download and install the trial non-Adobe Creative Cloud apps.

  If this does not work, you can try to access the trial via direct download. Before you begin your download, follow the instructions very important to halfway down the page linked otherwise you will get an error.
