  I am trying to download a 'coming soon' page for a customer, riding too one existing site, she (build in Muse). I tried the download with no public_html folder nothing helps. Downloading the files and I don't get any errors, but its existing site is still there. When I asked the designer of the current site for help, she responded with this, and I have no idea where to start!

  "index.html is not visible, because there is a redirect in .htaccess to container.php in your FTP program, you need to enable the visibility of hidden files."

  Does that mean something to someone?

  FYI: when downloading via ftp to my server on Bluehost (for other clients) I have no problem.

  I'm no expert here, but I suggest to go through this .htaccess tutorial info just in case you are hesitant to ask your colleague for more precision.

  I just tried to download a new website via my FTP and downloaded once all embed assets which are logos in the header and footers do not appear, just a question mark appears.

  It never happened in the past with my previous sites and assets to embed that do not appear the rest appear correctly.

  No error is coming, or anything and I have no idea why they do not appear. Please see the pictures below.

  Thanks for sharing the URL. I have observed that the issue is happening only with SVG images.

  As an overview of works fine in Muse and locally, that means there is nothing wrong with active generated muse or codes but there are few servers that prevents the loading of SVG files.

  I recommend contacting your FTP host to remove these restrictions with SVG files and you will be ready.

  I seem to have problems downloading from my site on my ftp server.  I designed some of the basics on my site and uploaded to the ftp server to see how / if it worked.  The site looks and works fine in preview mode before and then export to HTML (for the most part) However when transferred to ftp host pretty much nothing appears at all (in safari and firefox), text, images, or even just the boxes created in muse.  Fonts have been downloaded of typekit.  Ive attached a few screenshots below.

  Also, I get this message when you transfer finishes:

  "1 WARNING.

  Failed to connect to a PHP file. Failed to check if the web server supports PHP required by forms of the Muse. Remember the domain name entered in the dialog FTP download is correct. »

  The entered domain name is correct, not sure that the rest of what means/how solve so any help would be great!

  As you said, the exported version of the site seems well. This confirms what has been exported the Muse was in the correct order. You can try to reset the permissions at the end of the host and see if that solves the problem. Have the host reset your ftp permissions and the re - download on the site.

  Whenever you make changes to your Muse site, you will need to download the new site (changed) to your host for changes made to the Muse is effective for online at the end of the host site.

• When I try to download on FTP host through Muse, he always makes it to 97% and stops with an error message saying FTP has expired. Always on my Barstools.CSS and Barstools.HTML

  Unfortunately we have not been able to reproduce the problem in which the internal FTP client of Muse hangs at 96% when uploading from a third party server.

  "In your previous post you mentioned that you can" set up a FTP folder "in your"Network places"folder in Windows Explorer. Could you try the following?

  1. Launch Adobe Muse CC
  2. Open your Muse site
  3. In the "File" menu, select "export HTML...". »
  4. Next to the label "location:" select the folder icon
  5. In the Windows Explorer dialog box, navigate to and select the file appropriate to your FTP folder
  6. Check that you entered the correct URL in the "Site URL" field and click on 'OK '.

• Cannot download my FTP host

  I am trying to download my Web site through the host FTP through Muse.  I cannot locate the file on server "" where you think generally that it would be 'public_html', I tried all channels in my cPanel FTP accounts.  None of them work.  In addition, with each attempt, the error number that shows is "553."  Does anyone have a solution?  I already talked to my host, and they claim that it is in the Adobe system.

  I hate to say it, but most of the hosting companies will tell you that their specifications are 'standard' (but they stand still)...

  Just to be sure, try first Uploader on Business Catalyst, to see if there is something wrong or inconvenient with your Muse pages.

  Then, find the exact path (folder name) where to download the content of your Web site with FTP of Muse.

  Also: Check if you spelled this way quite right! Error 553 indicates "unauthorized file name", while there might be a typing error. Let out any trailing ' / ' in the

  I don't know either of these programs, but they should have no effect on the FTP of Dreamweaver functionality. Dreamweaver has its own built-in FTP client.

  I was wondering if someone could help it, also please bare in mind this is my first site... so, my understanding of the code is some this limited.  In any case, I have developed a website in dreamweaver 8.  Everything looks great on my PC, can I download it on my hosting page and bang... no picture, no background... below is the code.  Oh, and there are some styles I never added, but somehow was there.

  No sense?  I'm sure there's a very simple reason, however, I really can't see it.  Probably something to do with, uh, I don't know code.

  In addition, really really stupid question.  But once I have the code sorted, how to get my page to go "online".  I use host dad, it seems to be in the right section, etc., in fact, I tried several sections, but none of the work.

  Rename your Index.html index.html page (no capital I, make lowercase).   This is probably the reason why the index page does not load upward when you type your domain name directly.

  Make the change of name in the files, DWeaver Panel updates all your linked pages etc. like this, NOT to do otherwise (through Explorer windows for example), otherwise, DW will not know that you have changed the name and all your link will be broken.

  Oops, see PZ already mentioned, even if I didn't see it when I posted... it was addressed only the issue of the image of thought.  :-)

  I've recently updated to the latest 2014.2.1.10 version that gives me the ability to synchronize the content between the different platforms.

  I had no problem in the past download at the site via ftp host, but when I use the content of the tags and download I see for the page, I applied the tags to a "page cannot be found" error screen. I deleted the tags content, downloaded again and no problem.
