  I use an old Dell XP Home Edition with SP2 preinstalled.  2 days ago at home, this laptop recognized and connected my network home wireless (802. 11 g Linksys). Today, at work, while sitting next to a wireless router, nothing (Mac Airport Extreme).  I use a Belkin Wireless card.  I'm not sure of the model of wireless card.  Laptop is older and I am afraid to remove the card, but I will if necessary.  Belkin Tech offers a WPA Librarians dwnld password to update my XP Op sys. She said that this update would allow my Sys OP to recognize an encrypted router WPA-2, which is how my work router is encrypted.

• Sync worked the wrong way round - I have thebs etc I want, I have ones I don't want.

  I have HARD disk problems. I borrowed a computer and the responsible owner Firefox for me - she didn't use it.   You can not cancel a synchronization where crushed bookmarks.
  You need to restore the bookmarks from a compressed backup .jsonlz4 in the bookmarkbackups folder or the affected computers.

  When you fill in forms, in English, when you press "TAB", you are jumping from one shed to another (from left to right).

• Thunderbird guard download in the wrong place

  I work under windows 7 Professional 64-bit with a Gmail account

  I set the location for the mail on my E drive instead of my drive c. (E:\Thunderbird)

  However, thunderbird keeps downloading at C:\Users\T\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird.

  Somehow my emailsignature don't comes not through, my favorite contacts have disappeared, as well as the dictionarries and the order of the day.

  I would like to be sure that all the links are well positioned and no mail is lost.

  Change Local Directory only move the mail store. I think that you want to move your entire profile.

  You will need to (or should!) change your E:\... back to its default value after you have moved your profile. Separate individual e-mail records of how you did led to fragmented data stored in various folders that you can make sense.

  Any advice on moving profiles of copy or restore can only deal with the general situation where everything is in the profile. If you separate the pieces out, you need to keep track of it yourself.

• My Firefox synced the 'wrong way' and I need to recover my favorites.

  Wednesday, I opened Firefox on my computer WORK (PC) after a long hiatus and he recommended I update Firefox since I hadn't used in a while. He said he would preserve all my bookmarks, etc.. Did, everything was fine.

  Yesterday I logged Firefox on my computer (Mac) and then a minute later my bookmarks toolbar very detailed began to change and missing tons of bookmarks and seems completely / different disorganized. I myself am connected on Firefox sync hoping this would look again my WORK computer, but it did not.

  Today, I'm back on my WORK computer. I logged in sync since I assume that the Wednesday update disconnected me. And now my WORK computer resembles the same mess as my HOME computer bookmark. I wanted to sync the reverse - make my look of HOME computer as my WORK computer!

  How can I recover my favorites and that to happen?

  You can disconnect Sync and restore bookmarks from a backup in the folder bookmarkbackups.

  Try to press Ctrl + Alt + up ARROW, or try Ctrl + Alt + and a different key to the arrow.

• touchpad blocked the wrong way round

  My touchpad is stuck with the main body of it only capable of scrolling (a finger), and the pointer moves around the screen only if I use the area of the tablet that would usually be where you would touch to scroll.

  I did the thing all restart several times and I've been in the settings area of the mouse and you don't see anything to change that... any help would be appreciated.

  Please provide the name of full model of your NB or provide the product #. Please try to reinstall the driver for the touchpad and see if you have a update of the touchpad for your NB in www.hp.com, make also sure that the touch pad space of your NB is enabled/on.

  First of all, nice work!

  You have this problem, or I'm missing what is the problem. So I'll have to guess, but most likely cause would be that your anchors used for each page of your navigation line up vertically. Try to keep your investment of consistent anchor tag. I usually use one of the edges of the page for the anchors to ensure that they are aligned.

  I am trying to create some jerseys cycling for my friends and I. Im relatively new to Illustrator, so I created my "Proof" in Photoshop.

  Now that evidence has got a helping hand up, I need this vectorize and get ready for printing.

  Although I ran into a small issue. Im not sure exactly how I should do to correct this.

  Now I need to insert the yellow Lion. So I duplicate the layers and change from light blue to yellow, and this happens because of the opacity of the layer of "filling".
