  You want to use DPS with my InDesign CS6 and Cloud membership. I am told I need an update of my Folio Builder but Updater tells me that it is not an update to have. You want to start using the unique editions. No help available? I'm in the United Kingdom if that helps.

  Remember that when I had trouble downloading Acrobat Pro a month ago, you downloaded it and it wasn't there and you couldn't download it again for some reason any. Forum help suggested that I change media_pb files in the folder of caps that allowed me to re-download Acrobat of the Cloud. Of course, I forgot to change these files to the original so that the Setup program does not recognize me or something like. • InDesign Cs6 running really slow!

  I edit, create and produce manuals for a company that gave me training on Indesign! I use Indesing Cs6 Manual of already produced edition and slowly started to create my own. The company has an external company, who had started working on a new project until I'm relevant. They use Indesign CC, the guy also creates books in book form. He sends me the files and a file IDML which allows me to convert what he sent in the version of Indesign (CS6) that I use. Everything is perfect!

  As I begin to edit these newly produced manuals I have problems with the program... It turns very slowly especially when typing or importing images.

  I move the files from the server to the external company has access too.

  I open all IDML files individually and then save it in the same folder as an Indesign Cs6 file.

  Do a save pennies on each of the files to erase old data from change. If there is between documents cross-reference ID open constantly files and close them while you work unless you keep all the files in the book open again.

  I installed on my 2010 Yosemite MacBook Pro. My boss wants me to buy InDesign CS6 as a new installation. (I've never had any version of InDesign installed on my Mac). I prefer InDesign CC, but he's going for him.

  I've seen a few questions where those who have already installed versions of InDesign CS6 have problems with it after the installation of Yosemite.

  Given that mine would be a NEW installation of InDesign CS6 on a Mac of Yosemite, I wonder if there are any known issues.

  I don't want to buy the software and then have problems.

  (I'm not having problems with already installed versions of Photoshop CS6 and Dreamweaver CS6 and Yosemite).

  The problems are happening with update installs Yosemite. If you did a clean installation, you should be fine. An upgrade? Anything other than a roll of the dice.

  Download the trial version and give it a whirl.

  BTW, you could explain to your boss that CS6 will cost $700. A subscription to InDesign will be $ 20 $par month.

  Please tell me there is a simple solution to my problem, I appologise if this has already been posted, but could not find it in the validations.

  Objective: I want to create a handout for my students in an interactive pdf format where there are two columns. The first column has textfields where they type in their solution (and then save the PDF for their own reference). The second column using textfields in which I put in tips and solutions to the task, they are initially hidden from view and students can press a button to display help one fields required.

  What I use: windows 7 pro 64-bit and windows 8.1 64-bit using Indesign cs6 recorded copies fully implemented to date. processor i7 4 GB RAM

  What I do:

  1. create a text box.

  2 Add text to the box.

  3. right click on the text box and choosing interactive > convert to text field

  4 change the default to hidden so that triggered

  5. Add text to the new field of text through the text tool

  6 create a button in the pane buttons and sample forms

  7. Select the button to display the text field on the tap

  8. export to interactive PDF

  9. open in acrobat x pro (10.1.1)

  10. click on the button

  what I get is an empty text field, the text on step 5, I wrote went.

  Please help me solve this I have already lost half of my hair. I think I've tried all the combinations on the optipons button nothing works

  Hi Jacob,

  Some tips for you, VS 2015 is not recommended for dev environment. CS6 InDesign plugin. You will meet all kinds of issues if you use for creating plugins CS6 2015, are some of the issues you may face

  1. Compilation or linking errors
  2. Random crashes, while the plugin is running, if you manage to get that much.

  The main reason for this is the different versions of libraries CRT used by different versions of VS, which used once all causes all sorts of compatibility issues.

  I would recommend that you follow the recommended by Adobe in the SDK VS version.

  Now in regards to putting in place the project settings, you must configure the following paths mainly to point to different paths of the SDK

  1. Include paths for the C++ compiler, these are directories that contain different header files. This will contain multiple paths, see the sample project SDK for more details
  2. Path for libraries that need to be linked to your project, see Linker of a SDK project.
  3. Include the path to the resource compiler
  4. Apart from this, you can also set the executable directories, as shown in the screenshot you attached. This is used to designate certain executables that are used during the accumulation of the generation of the project phase.

  You could refer to the sample project SDK for details, I would recommend that you base your new project on a sample project of SDK software for beginners and once you are comfortable with the settings, you can go ahead and write your own project to project depending on how you like to your Setup project the configuration files. For more details on how to write configuration files for VS projects to do a google search on it.

  I have a computer with InDesign CS6 installed and I will be performing a clean install of Windows 10. I used a key Locator to find the key and spoke with a conversation agent who told me it was a beta key.

  My questions are:

  (2) I'll be able to use this key for the installation of InDesign CS6 after completing the clean install of Windows 10?

  Series a beta version is valid only during the beta and is not valid after several years. You must purchase your own license. I wonder if the Version worked so long after the liberation, normally, it stops to work when a product reaches the market.

• My InDesign CS6 does not open after expiration of CC 15 day trial.

  My InDesign CS6 does not open after expiration of CC 15 day trial. The only option is to subscribe to the CC. I don't want to subscribe, I want to use my copy of the CS6. I uninstalled and reinstalled ~ no still no chance.  Anyone know how to open it?

  If you have installed cs6 install the subscription, it will capture your license CS6. Common sense would have been to disable CS6 before install CC as CS6 contains its own (and better kind) CS6 software with more upgrades and possibilities than the old version in a box.

  If you can not install CS6 with your own serial number for this reason, you will need to contact Adobe to reset the activations.

• Cloud Creative canceled but now cannot open InDesign CS6

  I had to use InDesign CC for a client project, so I bought a subscription for 2 months. The subscription is long now, but I can't open my original, owned, CS6. Whenever I try to open it, its says I need a subscription. CS6 is not part of the creative cloud, then I don't understand what could be the issue. Meanwhile, Im needing to do a project for a client and an Im paralyzed.

  I just thought of it. For me, the answer was simply you connecting on my Adobe account, which was still running. I then exit the creative cloud application. Now I can open InDesign CS6. Not sure why anyone tell in the older link you just posted. What a big mess CC is, IMO. Thank you.

  I'm trying to merge several documents into one at my workplace in Indesign CS6. In the script first I ask the user to select the docs to merge, what am I saying to Indesign to open all documents selected one by one and duplicate pages in them, at the end of an another (already open) doc1.

  The code is something like this:

  var myDoc2 = < of the selected docs, has already opened at this stage>;

  < code to replace and detach master page items in myDoc2 >

  var sourcePages = myDoc2.pages.everyItem ();

  sourcePages.duplicate (LocationOptions.AFTER, myDoc1.pages.item(-1));

  It is normal, all pages go through with doc1 but they form a single gap. If the user selects 10 docs, with 12 pages in them, that in Doc1, I get a gigaspread with 10 x 12 = 120 pages.

  No matter how many Sections have been the source, sections remain valid in doc1, but within this wiiiiideeee spread.

  Pls tell me how I could make Indesign to keep the structure of dissemination of the original source documentation! I can't find any setting or option to regulate this behavior.

  You can buy a subscription to creative cloud for InDesign CC 2015, with it you will have InDesign CS 6 with in this subscription, there is no separate way to get InDesign CS 6 subscription.
