Cloud storage irritates me, rather, I know where my files are, and they're not skipping. So can I use inDesign CD6 without the Cloud? (Of course, I'm a new user).

You can buy a license for CS6, if you wish, but it will never updated for new features.

But there is no requirement that your files online if you become a subscriber of cloud. The applications are all downloaded and installed on your computer, and you can continue to transfer your files wherever save you them now.

  • purchase Indesign CS6

I would buy Indesign CS6, how?

CS6 has reached the end of his life. There is no support for it in the new Mac or Windows systems. If you still want to buy it you should call and ask for it.

  • Yosemite & NEW installation of InDesign CS6 - questions?

I installed on my 2010 Yosemite MacBook Pro. My boss wants me to buy InDesign CS6 as a new installation. (I've never had any version of InDesign installed on my Mac). I prefer InDesign CC, but he's going for him.

I've seen a few questions where those who have already installed versions of InDesign CS6 have problems with it after the installation of Yosemite.

Given that mine would be a NEW installation of InDesign CS6 on a Mac of Yosemite, I wonder if there are any known issues.

I don't want to buy the software and then have problems.

(I'm not having problems with already installed versions of Photoshop CS6 and Dreamweaver CS6 and Yosemite).

The problems are happening with update installs Yosemite. If you did a clean installation, you should be fine. An upgrade? Anything other than a roll of the dice.

Download the trial version and give it a whirl.

BTW, you could explain to your boss that CS6 will cost $700. A subscription to InDesign will be $ 20 $par month.

  • Sierra Adobe breaks makes inDesign CS6

    Hi people,

I get a finger of download that sting for Sierra, my question should I break inDesign CS6?

I have a bit of jump some operating systems, I also expect...?

    Thank you.

    using Yosemite 10.10.5

Reported problems with Illustrator but CS6 is not longer supported by Adobe and was not compatible with the Mavericks and after according to Adobe. Apple does not solve the problem if you run into something, and adobe has no software open source so that others could provide a patch. I'm agree with your position not to be bullied into buying a subscription for the software with my humble OPINION less than stellar customer service I need to contact once a week, it was the decision of the Adobes.

  • Is there a way I can buy InDesign and Illustrator ONCE and not have to pay monthly and annual fees?

I have Photoshop Elements, I bought it once, it's not every year or fresh monthly, what I want to know is if there's a similar way to buy InDesign and Illustrator. Honestly, I don't use these programs which often (or at least not often enough to justify the cost I would have to pay).

I searched so far came empty-handed and frustrated, that I don't want Adobe Cloud (I need not other programs) are there really no other option then to pay too much money for the programs that I have used often use?

If the answer is Yes, then nobody knows of any similar programs that do the same things I could buy instead?

    Thanks to all who commented!

If you are ready to deal with older software, and your computer can support the older versions, you can always buy CS6, but it will never be updated and will not run on newer computers.

Creative cloud now includes the features of Creative Suite Master Collection and Design Premium

I know that it is posible to buy an InDesign CC license and install a previous version, but my question is: the instaler CC will work under XP to allow me to install the version of CS6? Thank you.

  • Linotype Decoration Pi will not work with InDesign CS6

Linotype Decoration Pi fonts will not work with InDesign CS6. If I buy a new version of the Sdobr store, will it work?

Thanks to each of you respond to my concern. I used the glyphs Palettes before but did not expect way bulky to handle the task. With my old Linotype Decoration Pi police, press and it's there.

I spent several hours before to buy trying to get answers before buying but the support has been no help. I have not sucked into the monthly Plan of the clouds.

Not a good solution, but a solution.

    Thanks again.

  • Buy InDesign CS4 for Mac and now need to move to a PC. Help!

Buy InDesign CS4 for Mac and now need to move to a PC. Help!

CS4 is not eligible for the upgrade (or extension) to CS6 (the current version). Only CS5/CS5.5 are eligible.

    Your options:

    1. Purchase a new full version of Indesign CS6 for Windows
    2. Join the cloud to Adobe for a single subscription App to Indesign (pay a monthly fee)
    3. Join the cloud to Adobe for the complete cloud (pay a monthly fee)
  • DPS cost if I already own InDesign CS6?

I just bought the suite CS6 Design and Web Premium, (PS6extented, IA6, IN6, etc..)

Watch the tutorials, I am intrigued by the prospect of creating my own app iPad with inDesign.

I won't sell no matter what iPad App Iporentially do - just to show my portfolio, etc. so I don't need the Apple Store. (or me, just to make a personal application?)

But it seems that there are 'other' requirements' as a 'creative cloud account' gives me essentially involved - access programs I already bought, for a monthly fee.  Of course, I don't need to "buy out" inDesign CS6.

So I'm a bit confused what I really need to have, in order to make an iPad app for personal use, or share with a customer who likes my work.

Is the 'creative cloud' necessary to make an app?

Is the real "ipad app" Assembly/compiled by Adobe in the 'cloud' and then I download it back?

If so, is there a package just for that?  As I said, I just buy CS6 inDesign.

Just do not understand what I really need to or 'pay' to try this out.

Thank you very much in advance for the advice.

To try it, nothing. If you want to publish, you have made a mistake to purchase a license for $30 / month for a year, you can publish apps simple editing as much as you want.

Creative cloudless every easy editing app is $395 and you'll want to read through the posts here on Apple apps of rejection.

  • I get a certificate error when starting Adobe InDesign CS6 - RESOLVED

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't find one that seemed right to me)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I open InDesign CS6, this window appears:

I read here that it's to do with authentication of Web site, so I don't see why it should come in InDesign.
If I click View Certificate, I get this:

All the other Adobe programs work fine, but if I ignore the box and try to use InDesign, it crashes. If I click on Yes, I continue to use InDesign as usual.

    Today, it's never happened before.

Is it possible to stop this?
