• problem in IviScope - Acq Wfm Edge Triggered.vi example

  I have LabView 11.0, MAX 5.3 and installing HP54645 IVI driver. I create and configure a logical name in the category of the IVI Drivers able & Automation Explorer (MAX). I try to run the IviScope - Acq Wfm Edge Triggered.vi example (after choosing the logical name IVI), he is stuck in the block of IviScope Initialize.vi and generates the following error message:

  Error 1074135025 has occurred to be initialized with Options.vi of IviScope

  Hello Yannis,

  The DLL for this IVI driver has not yet brought in a 64-bit format.  If you are on a windows 64-bit machine, there is a good chance that is the source of the problem.  We already asked at our branch in Shanghai to give priority to their efforts with this driver.  I'll let you know when I hear more of our developers.

• Animations Flash of DPS are triggered too early...

  I'm building a small "DPS-brochure" in InDesign, use of the Foilo generator.

  I've done a few animations-flash (web-content-overlays), which are auto-déclenchées when you enter a page.

  Everything works fine, except for one small - but important: part.

  The first animation on page 1 film works very well. But when drag page 2, animation shild is already triggered... Sliding fast back to page one and then quickly to page 2, I can see the last part of the animation... It seems that the animation of triggers Animation 1 2...

  The strange thing is that when you place an article without animation, between the two, everything works a charm...

  Do you have ideas of how to solve the problem...?

  All animations must be set to play with a second delai.125.

• I can't drag to the next page after placing my dps edge animation

  I've created an animation on board and it was exported in a file .oam. I placed it in dps (size full page) and even if he plays well I can't slip between the pages.

  Initially I thought rather than to use the animation to the size of the whole page I could use it smaller so I'd be able to drag the area outside of the animated object. My problem is that the background of the page is a color gradient and that I failed to export my movie with a background transparent I need to configure the background on the edge also. This leaves me with the problem of how navigate to the next page?

  IM new on Board (as you can probably) so any help is greatly appreciated.

  Hey Ross,

  Currently there is a bug when using DPS where it will not erase the image of the poster of the composition and the rest in the background when playing DPS. Your animation play automatically? If so, I have a solution for you.

  If you set your image of the poster to transparent and transparent Stadium, the animation will play on a transparent background. Create a 1 x 1 transparent png and import it into your composition of EA. In the publishing settings, set this PNG file to your image of the poster.

  

  Also make sure your color from the scene the alpha value of 0%.

  

  Publish and you should be good to go.

  Regarding the impossibility to swipe, animated compositions import in the form of "Overlays of Web" which means the overlay in the most literal sense; they are placed on top of your publication, so no interactivity you may interfere with the actions of your publication created in code. You can opt to disable interactivity in the Panel of the web to ID card overlay, even if this may defeat the purpose of your publication set. It seems that in your case if you are able to get transparency floor works that could address some of the problems you had.

• Separation of the two edge triggered measurement

  I try to use a USB-6259 device to measure the time of separation between two signals. I need to measure the time only after another trigger signal was raised. I tried to configure the task of separation of measurement with a trigger to start on a rising and also with a break so that the task will stop if the trigger signal is low. However, I get errors that it is not supported. Is there anyway to trigger this type of measure?

  I thought about it - beginning of arm relaxation.

  Way the easiest would be to put it in the second State of the OSM. First State is just the button to go to the next State. Set autoplay with stunted deuxieme.125 OAM

• How to read a counter value for the separation of the two edge before meter is stopped by the second edge (6602 Council)?

  I use a timer/counter with DAQmx 6602. I use the separation of two - available via DAQmx cash edge. Count between the two edges works properly, however I do not know how to read the value of the counter during the counting operation (i.e. after the first edge triggered the beginning of the count, but before the second edge triggered the end of the counting). I'll have to wait for the second goes off the edge of the end of the countdown until I can get a counter value. I need to be able to access the current value of the County during the count operation. This was possible in traditional DAQ. How can it be accomplished using DAQmx?

  Ah shoot - I was afraid that this might be the case (for what it's worth, my series of X returned intermediate values, but the material and the underlying driver are quite different)...

  You just need to take one measure at a time or you are buffer several measures of separation of the two edges at the same time?  So just to take one measure at a time, you can set a task of edges of count using the database internal time as the source using an arm start trigger (first edge) and a sample of clock (second Board) to work around the problem.

• 4472 sampling finished

  Hi all

  I use a 4472 to take a sample done with a digital reference falling edge triggering. The sample per channel is set to x and the pre-trigger amount is 90 %x. Now we start taking data using the StartTask (task_handle) in LabWindows/CVI. Suppose a falling edge coming soon after start of the measurement task so that it will not be long enough for 4472 to acquire 90% of data points x. In this case, is it possible that 4472 will overlook this first reference trigger and continue to fill the pre-trigger part until the arrival of the next reference trigger?

  Hi XR.

  I think I understand what you're asking, but I repeat just to clarify: you want to know what happens when you set a reference to a DSA device trigger after the beginning of the task running at the hardware level, but sufficient time has not elapsed to capture all pre-trigger samples you specified before the arrival of the trigger.  Is this correct?

  I've included a visual aid that we hope will make things clearer, in which 10 samples are acquired.  9 nine samples are specified as sampled pre-trigger (90% of 10) and the rest 1-sample is a sample of trigger post.  In the picture, earlier reference trigger can happen to capture all 9 samples pre-trigger is between 9 and 10 samples.  It will arm the device to collect the remaining samples 1 (10th sample) as the trigger after.

  The Manual of the DSA (on page 2-17, or p. 30 of the PDF) explains what is happening in this situation.  The device will ignore triggers until first pre-trigger samples fill the buffer allocated for these samples.  After that pre-trigger samples are filled in part of the buffer, pre-trigger samples will continue to be updated with the most recent examples until the trigger is detected, and the remaining part of the buffer will be filled with samples after outbreak.

  In other words, once pre-trigger samples are acquired, the circuit and then waiting for a trigger arm the remaining samples in the data after release.  If the trigger circuit will not affect functionality pre-trigger or after trigger until all pre-trigger samples are taken first.

• Variables in LABVIEW for NXT

  Hi, I need to create a variable then we can be changed and write the new values. For example. I left the button NXT, which when it is pushed so I made some 20 subtracts variable and then added to the same variable, this value is then displayed on the NXT screen. But when you press the right button with this value is added to the value of 20 and found again the same variable. And it is constantly repeated. The current value is displayed on the screen of NXT. How can I solve? Through local variables?

  Hello!

  What I would do, is to use a While loop with a shift register and a structure dealing with three cases. One case is when you press the left button, the second for the right button and the third for the case when nothing was happening. You must also make sure that it increments only once when the buttons are pressed, not increment the button is pressed. Essentially of edge triggering.

• CO, redeclenchables-based synchronization

  I would like to synchronize HAVE, AO and PERFORM tasks finished which are redeclenchables based on a train of pulses CO.  I've implemented a CO Pulse Freq task to run off my 9178 chassis ctr3.  The front triggered the OD to start, the falling edge triggers HAVE it and GET started.  Provided by these tasks finish are short enough, they should be redeclenchables, so whenever my CO sends a pulse they should restart.

  Difficult to do this work, get an error that the task of the AI is not redeclenchables (using 9222).  Can anyone provide guidance on how to implement such a scheme?

  Hello Telleurium,

  The error you are getting is expected as the 9222 does not support the redeclenchables tasks, but shipped from the 9178 counters are redeclenchables. I suggest do you the CO Pulse Freq Output a generation over, put in place a trigger for this task, set to retrigger, and use it as the sample clock for GOT it, AO and DO. This will allow you to create a redeclenchables HAVE, AO and the ct3 your 9178 chassis-based. Examples of what I mentioned above in many places. Here are a few to get you started.

• How to control the rate of acquiring data in a while loop

  I'm trying to use a digital trigger to collect data on the rising and falling edge. The design is displayed as below. Now, I save the measured voltage 1 & 2 to the local variable in the while loop. Hoever, the while loop runs at a frequency of more compared to the structure of the case triggered. So I had a lot of repetitive data.  If I record data directly from structure of the case, it will be recorded as data-0-date-0 because of the ongoing case of fake wire.

  I wonder how to revise to save the measured voltage 1 & 2 at the same frequency of up/down edge triggered? Thank you! I have also attached my current version of Labview program, which takes place in time real Labview 2013.

  The case of false just past the value through.  With this configuration, you agree that the data remain in the son, avoiding race conditions.  It is also more effective than the use of local variables.

  

• LV FPGA workflow nested CLIP w / NI SMU-6591R

  Hello

  I develop an application on a NI-SMU-6591R Board. My installation also includes a SMU-1085 w chassis / controller 8135.

  Goal: set up a VHDL project prior to the Commission of 6591R. Given that the application requires access to 2 ports Mini SAS HD and the VHDCI connector on the front of the 6591R (physical front) a CLIP nested is the only option here, isn't it?

  I am quite new to the LV FPGA framework. In order to understand the flow of the whole project, I would like to launch a trivial VHDL design on the 6591R: a D-FlipFlop edge triggered w / Syncronous reset. I have attached the the D - FF and the wrapper of CLIP VHDL code.

  I would like that (1) a little (LV::boolean/VHDL::std_logic) to pass the port D of the D - FF VI (name FDF/D) and (2) drive the LEDs of the Board of Directors according to the signals of outputs (FDF/Q and FDF/QB). Also, I want to read (3) the same outputs (FDF/Q and FDF/QB) back to the VI flying two Boolean flags.

  Following the white paper OR, I have:

  1. Managed to create a XML interface of the import VIDEO Wizard, import the 2 files VHDL (D - FF and its packaging).
  2. Selected the ELEMENT created in the IP-level component properties window. The LV_DATA_IN (host2fpga) and LV_DATA_OUT (fpga2host) I/O appear in the project tree, under the CLIP icon.
  3. Created a new VI under the FPGA device with an infinite while loop. Inside the loop, I dropped the LV_DATA_IN and the LV_DATA_OUT e/s and connected with a control (to LV_DATA_IN) and two indicators (of LV_DATA_OUT).

  First of all, why in a simulated execution mode, the behavior of the indicators is totally random? They are not connected to one of the connectors 6591R...

  Linking the FPGA VI, he reacts to any change in the control LV_DATA_IN button... Why?

  The design works as expected in Vivado both in behavioral simulations and post-synthese.

  Before asking here, I tried to understand it on my own. I have read all the documentation that I found on campus (I got access to LV Core1, Core2, Core3 and FPGA course material) and on the internet.

  What is still missing me?

• Error opening of VISA 1073807246 54642 has brought.

  I have a litter of 54642A Agilent connected to COM1.  I can send queris to the scope via MAX.  When I try to run the digital example VI Agilent 546XX Serice CQI Wfm Edge Triggered.vi, I get erro 1073807246

  And you still open MAX? Look for the error would have shown that the operating system does not allow several processes to access the same port.

• Beginning DAQmx and reference trigger

  I'm looking to understand deeper screw DAQmx data acquisition, but even after reading many white books, I have a few questions.

  In my project, I would like to start a CQI data. triggered by a start trigger (connected to the PFI3 connector external trigger source, I have an old PCI MIO16E DAQ card),

  and I need to stop collecting data when a release occurs (reference trigger, same source, PFI3). I found this KB page and an example of VI:

  I would like to change this VI to be able to collect all the data for 10 amounting to edge triggering. And I have to stop DAQ when held it the 10th trigger. So, how can I stop the DAQ in the while loop, not the first reference, but after a trigger given trigger reference number?

  Also, could someone explain the idea behind the "pre relaxation" and samples "post-declencheur"? Why do these settings? I just want to collect all of the data in reference N relaxation, and I need to collect them in segments (samples by read in the example VI) since I want to put an effective value of these pieces of data to a chart. So, how should we indicate the settings above, if I only need the data between the outbreak of departure and the specified trigger nth reference?

  Also, what is the best way to back up all the raw data (converted into 4-byte floats) in file binary little endian (for a C post treatment program)?

• An Animation of edge can trigger a State DPS?

  I want to have a menu button in my DPS of the project or when you press on, the button shakes and develops in a bubble to reveal the menu options. I'll do animation of the button on the edge.

  What I need to know is:

  1. This animation can be triggered by someone typing?

  2. can be the menu options that are displayed in the 'bubble' can be used in DPS - i.e. - a menu has an option ' navto: / /' link for example?
