I created three sets of certificates APNS today (my old which had expired) to edit and submit to Apple and existing Viewer application. None would work in the DPS App Builder.

Finally, I discovered this alert in the screenshot. Is this normal?

How can I change the validity? Where in the hell is this time came?

    Thank you!

It is a known bug in the App Builder v26 version if you wait until the 17:01 your new certificates will work. You can also set your system before according to 17:01 clock and then go through App Builder.

  • Push notifications for kiosks

    Hi guys,.

    Small question about push notifications...

I thought that I had put in place of notifications of type push correctly, but they were not involved. I went in the application designer to see if I could understand where I was wrong and I (think) put the right certificate in where the certificate of Push Notification should be. I tell myself that if I break this certificate in where I'm homesick that I should be good to go.

I opened what I believe is the correct certificate of Push notification and have included a screeshot of its properties.

Can someone tell me if this looks correct before you rebuild and resubmit the app for Apple?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you!push.png

Test your Push notifications using the method described in this article: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/digitalpublishingsuite/articles/dps-push-notification.html#art iclecontentAdobe_numberedheader_3 , if this does not work, re - create the certificates, rebuild the application. Yet once, test it in developer.ipa before submitting to Apple.

  • Impossible to uncheck Push notification in dps app Builder

    Hello

I am trying to build a dps for ios app. My client don't want to initially allow the push notification. As a result, they gave us a mobileprovision without push notification certificate.

For some reason, I am unable to disable the Push notification in dps app Builder. It is grayed out.

    Someone knows why?

When you create or modify your App ID on Apple dev site, you specify if the thrust is supported. The mobileprovision files include this information. Ask your customer to ensure that push disabled in settings App ID. If he must change the AppID, they need rebuild the mobileprovision file.

Push notifications are available on professional DPS?

On graphic buyers guide it says Push is available on the company?

    Thank you

Push (standard push notifications and notifications of text) is supported with both Professional accounts and Enterprise. Push notifications via a third party (for example, urban airship) is undertaken.

  • Sending of the Push Notifications with Adobe DPS

    Issue.

I test all the DPS from Adobe and Apple options. And one of the things I'd like to test Push Notifications.

I followed the guide iPad edition to be able to get all certificates, so it's ok. Then, I was looking for a way to send

push notifications. Because Adobe DPS really doesn't have a user interface environment (Please correct me if I'm wrong ;-) grow us

notifications, should I do it "by hand". When I tested my app on my iPad I got the ' name of the application wants to send you push notifications "

so I don't know that my certificates work. Now, I just need to send a push message.

    So I followed this tutorial:

    http://www.raywenderlich.com/3443/Apple-push-notification-services-tutorial-part-12

I was able to do everything and was able to send a push... but I never received it. And the reason for this is because

I don't have the token device app, which is a serial number of 64 characters that acts as your address app. So I have no way to send the notification

to my particular App (which is a sideload app multifolio test).

Because the DPS from Adobe's cloud based you get no code (which I love). But I think that is currently to stop me

    to discover my token device.

    I ask:

-Does this mean that I can't send a push notification to Adobe DPS created applications?

-If this is supported somehow, I guess that (even once, correct me) I need the token device app for the application is created. Where can I get this?

    Thank you!

For now, it is not possible to manually push notifications. When you activate the push, publishing only a new folio shows the Red badge. At some point, when to push third-party is supported, manual push will be possible.

    Hi Michael,

Once you change anything (for example Apple Push Notification service ID App specific), you will need to recreate/updated updated mobileprovision profiles for this application. Also, make sure that you use right APNs as those certificates and mobileprovision profiles are specific App ID.

  • Android Push Notification

Hello! Because there is no feature for Android Push Notification DPS.

Are there any good 3rd party tool to use for the Push Notifications in Android and easy to implement for the APK Android?

I think its very important that users know what happens in their applications.

    Best jan

I'm not aware of everything and notes that "implement for the APK Android" is against the terms of use for DPS. You shouldn't be trying to change the .apk file downloaded from the App Builder.

  • Help! Impossible to test push notifications

We had a problem with Push notifications and the versions of all three of our magazines iPad.  Inform does not work for us.  Our reseller

DCPL checked all our settings and suggested that remove us all of our certificates (in a magazine) and try new to solve the problem.

I did, built new distribution, development, dev push, push mobile dev production, commissioning, provision of mobile production.

I built a new version of the magazine to the Mac, DSP App Builder.app v28

But now, I get the same message over and over when I try to test Push notifications.  I checked that I use the new certificates.

"An error occurred when sending the notification. Your push certificate has expired. To download a valid certificate, rebuild your application in DPS App Builder and will retry to send the notification. »

You should contact Support Gold for assistance with this. You can find contact information by logging into the dashboard of DPS and the research in the Middle at the bottom of the screen.

  • Unique push notification Edition

    Hello!

In the case of simple editing is included the service of notifications of type push when I switch to the APP?

Or if I need to make some changes, I need to publish a second version?

    Thank you.

Unique Edition of DPS does not support push notifications.

  • Push notifications for Pro subscription non-kiosque apps?

I am struggling to determine the answers to some questions that different sources seem to suggest different things, so:

    • We have a professional subscription DPS, not business
    • We create a multi-question application
    • As we are not publishing content on a calendar, we do not want to create a kiosk app

Are we able to have push notifications for users that new content is available to download?

I thought I had read that it was possible, but that the notification (for now) would be limited to a badge on the icon showing the number of new items of content available. Now, I'm not sure.

If it * is * possible, that someone know a guide for the right settings to apply when you configure the application in DPS App Builder?

Finally - assuming it's possible - push notifications appear in the development version of the application?

    See you soon,.

    Keith

Yes, if you create a certificate to push and turn on notifications of type push when you build the application, a badge will appear on your non-kiosque application icon to newspapers when you publish a new folio (click Notify in Folio Producer). Read the release guide for more information on creating the certificates to push and which allows to push. (We hope to have notifications of transmission available in standard text based push later this year.) For now, it's just the Red badge).

No, push notifications do not appear in the development version of the application. There is a complicated way to make it work in a development application, but it is not worth.

  • Apple Push Notification Service production

I have two applications (just built) that send notifications to and from a web server remotely: everything works fine until yesterday, expiration date of Apple's Push Notifications. I create new certificates (from original CSR files), create a .pem file and download it into my production server, replace the older ones, but when I tested the downloaded Apps from the App Store has not received notifications (in the mode of development that all notifications have arrived properly).

    can someone help me please?

.. the certificate on my developer account is active (a green dot on the side of Pentecost) and not expired!

  • Moto G4 - push notifications to stop functioning when the phone is idle / inactive

    Hello!

I have a very annoying problem with my G4 bike purchased in the UK.

    Problem:

My push notification comes to app and gmail to stop working when the phone is idle / inactive.

When I use any application or when I put just the phone side push notifications work fine. They appear on the lock screen and beep.

After a few minutes of not using the phone, the message to stop the spread. The sender indicates that a tick and the Moto G4 does not show notifications of type push until the phone is activated and unlocked. It is very annoying, because I already missed several attempts to call. This problem occurs with the Wifi or data plan. It is not a What'sApp of settings as it works very well for a while.

Text messages and phone calls work well, just a data plan seems to go off when idling and never come back until unlocked (even then it takes a while). WiFi seems somehow to maintain a connection.

    I tried:

    • change What settings the sApp
    • disconnection/connection gmail account
    • remove the operating system of the device cache
    • disable the whats of ap battery saving options and all services appear to be relevant
    • WiFi seems somehow to keep the phone, but only data stops immediately, sending fn when idle
    • Restart in safe mode-> the same problem with meeting places. WiFi seems to work, data plan do not when idling

Is this a known issue? Everyone knows the problem? To me, it seems that the camera seems to move from the internet and do not reactivate until this that unlocked.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated,

    Thank you!

It seems to work now after clicking: 'Reset the settings App' in the top menu right in "parameters - apps-> gear-> battery optimization"!

I haven't seen this solution anywhere else. I did the reset done only because I tried to disable optimization for almost all applications gradually. Without success, I clicked on 'Reset the settings App' and suddenly push notification for all work! Yes!

  • Push notifications don't work properly

Hello! Ive had a problem with my notifications push on incoming messages in Whats App, Hangouts, messaging applications.
I get no notification either when z3 is in "sleep" or active. Moreover, I only receive new messages when I open a respective application. Even if I have it running but not active at the moment, I don't get notifications unless I have switxh to the app and check a cat or an Inbox manually. Please help solve the problem.

In this case, there could be a problem with your APN settings. See the following:
