DPX batch resize

Hi all

First post. Please forgive all noobing.

My question:

I scanned a bunch of film at 4 k, as it is important that miht be scanned again. But the House of the post office we send i he need 2 k (to keep affordable). SOUL can efficiently batch resize in 2 k files and retain the metadata and don't mess with the image too? I was going to do as a batch process in Photoshop, but it is limited to only three standard types of files (which is sort of lame). Or if not either of these formats, is there another way to do within the creative cloud?

See you soon

You can import the DPX files as a sequence of images, and then export back as a sequence DPX with the settings you want. You should get what you are looking for.

  • QR codes batch resizing in Illustrator CS5 to png format.

Hi people, I produce works for printing consisting of several versions of labels/way-markers indicating similar graphics, elements of individual texts and two unique QR codes by label.
The problem is that production of QR software produced different sizes of content-based QR. On my label in Illustrator templates they all need to be the same size, for example 34x34mm.

Change the size through the dialogue of transformation works perfectly, but one at a time is a pain. You use Photoshop batch resize, blur of the edges.

If the QR code images are all in a single Illustrator file... or you can get them there, they could be batch resized using the script Set All The Things.

  • Batch-resizing problem still frames of time in the project overview

    Hello dear all,

I had just now ask regular users of the Organization, a question to which I can not solve.

Well, that's the first thing: I use Adobe CS5.5 body of my place of work. OS / Win7

I intend to use the Organization to create a montage of time. I have all my shots right now and take advantage of adobe products to use the Pan & Scan of accompaniment with sequelae. What I can't do usually with QTpro...

I imported my frames in my body, committed to 1frame calendar and works wonderfully.

BUT, here it comes... in the right corner, you have that preview "program: sequence01 ' and my (PORTRAIT) photos must be resized: they do not enter the preview of the image.

I already resized my photos in Photoshop as a batch process, but as Id like to create a Pan & Zoom effect in AfterEffect, so I need to keep a decent resolution larger than the 720 p from my movie.

Now I can resize each frame separately with ease in the preview of the body so that the width and the object of my photos is just the frame, but is it impossible 'batch' resize by certain types of multiple choice in my calendar and then jump in the preview and manually resize them all at the same time?

As said, same resizing in Photoshop is not a solution because my photos are in portrait mode, while the setting of the video is in 16:9 right?

Please find an explicit illustration below, I try to explain this problem as clear as possible, hoping that I was understandable.

  • Batch resize images of different sizes

    Hello

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.  In the past I've used the script to batch image processor resize images of same sizes, but now I have a few hundred images that are all different sizes.  I would like to resize these images so the long side of each image is resized to a specific size, while maintaining the current proportions.

    I'm using CS5.

Thanks in advance for any help,

I'm trying to resize 60 images of 256 x 256PX to 256 x 128PX. I do this everyday for the size 100 x 100 when I do the photos but it WILL NOT accept 256 x 128, no matter what I do... it resizes to 128 x 128... not what I want... can anyone help please?

Well I closed PS and re-opened and was finally able to record an action so all is good. Thank you all for your help, I really appreciate it

  • Batch resize pictures larger than a certain size.

Is it possible to have a script that looks for in a directory and all files image that are greater than 1000 x 1000 pixels are resized to 500 x 500 pixels and then stored on the sources of recovery file?

I ask because our server has more 40 000 photos in all senses and I would like to reduce the space they take up on the server.

If you want to subfolders in one appointment, you can select 'View - Show items from subfolders' then select all and run the script, this can save you time.

  • Batch resize and rename?

I tried to do a drop that will do the following:

Take a bunch of different files (psd, jpg, png)

    Resize to 952 pixels wide.

Keep it all in png in the same folder they came with the same name as the original and the "_952".

Gout does not work because either he always recorded in the folder that I originally recorded an action since. Or it all gives them the name of the original item. Or it saves them on top of themselves.

Is this something script can do?

  • Batch image resizing and adding watermark.

HI, I'm transition Photoshop elements 12 to the CC. 12 items, there is a "process several files...". "Option where I can batch resize images by px, percentage, inches, etc., and it allows me to add a watermark in any color and place it in the centre or down. CC I see an image processor, but I can't resize in % and I can not add a watermark. I can do it with stocks, but y at - it script predone I can use. Since she is in the elements, is there a way to get the same options of dialogue in CC via a plugin?

This may be just what you are looking for: https://creative.adobe.com/addons/products/13157#.VuDLN_BOKrU

Personally, I use an Action combined with the processing script batch. The steps of my work are like this:

    1. Resize
    2. Place incorporated
    3. Transform (size)
    4. Move to correct the position with the tool move
    5. Flatten Image
    6. Convert to sRGB
    7. Save as (JPEG; 10 quality, etc.)
    8. Close (Save: no)

I actually created a single Action for horizontally-oriented pictures and the other for oriented vertically. The steps to resize and processing are different on each. In particular, the step of resizing. I get the desired dimension on the short side for the two (height to horizontal) and width in the vertical, and long size is automatically filled.

Finally, to create a third Action (the one you will choose in the batch script) containing only one step if/else. Go to the Action Panel menu, then choose "Insert conditional." Set it like this: If the image is horizontal: play [horizontal Action]. Otherwise, read: [vertical Action]

Then I put lot in place like this:

I was planning to put together a video tutorial of this, but have not had the chance yet. In any case, I hope this helps!

  • Question to resize batch probably simple: _

Hi, I am creating an action for batch resize a folder of images, and when I hit Run, I wonder for the jpeg quality for each file, which defeated the purpose of creating an action.

Have you tried to use the file > Scripts > image without any intervention processor?

    Hi all

I need to do something more sophisticated with the batch command and Im not quite sure how to do it, ot if there is an existing jsf file or extension I can grab for it (in batch).

For now, I have a bunch of photos that are 2896 x 1944 pixels, but I need to resize up to 1920 x 1080 for a sequence of stop motion. But photoshop wants to keep in proportion and resizes 1608 x 1080, which is not what I want but I don't want to make them one at a time. so please help

    THX

But photoshop wants to keep in proportion and resizes 1608 x 1080, which is not what I want but I don't want to make them one at a time. so please help

You can do this by registering your own action in Photoshop (in the action panel) and use the image size command while unchecking the option to constrain the proportions. Then, you can fill in the size in pixels and include a save as command to close a document and a new location. Then select files in Bridge and via tools / Photoshop /Batch perform this action.

However, if you do not change the proportions of your original photos will appear very tense because you change the proportions, I'm not sure that's what you want.

You could also record an action to trim the originals of this size, leaving the look of the original image, only less at low, high or both. In doing so, all files are cropped to the same location that you saved the harvest on the first file.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 export: unknown error when using many large jpegs

    Hello

This is something that I remember reading about in older versions of first, but in the 2015 version, this always seems to happen. It is therefore more than a report bug to a question, because I have a workaround for it. If this isn't the right place to present this kind of info, please let me know.

Scenario: I create a video project and import a large number of large JPEG images taken by a digital camera (12-20 Megapixel, 50 + photos).

To help each other in the sequence and then try to export the video as file causes an unknown error during export times randomly, sometimes at the beginning, sometimes in the Middle, no mater which exit do format, bitrate, settings, etc.

How I solved the problem: I resized pictures on about 4 million pixels - and viola - everything travels very well.

I also noticed, that when the project contains only a few large images, it can work also still very good export, but if there are more than a few, the error starts occurring.

Don't know which version of CC 2015 I used, I can check later.

I hope this feedback is helpful for you guys

Edit: the machined used is a quad core Xeon, 16 GB of RAM, nVidia GTX750, SSD + 2x1To Raid0

It was never recommended to use ginormous stills in first. A batch resize in Photoshop or IrFanView for instance would take a few seconds and certainly ease the burden on your software and your hardware.

    Thank you
