  Hi all

  IM currently a simple replacement for the spry data item is no longer available in Dreamweaver CC 2015.
  I am a teacher and I'm supposted to give some integration of database in a Web site. I can spend only 2 or 3 lessons on the subject (as it is only a small part of the curriculum), you need a system that requires no knowledge of Mysql, php, and so on, these elements are far too complex and cannot be explained in a short time. The database of spry used to give me a simple alternative where students can insert elements of a page html or xml page, in another html page. It's simple and effective. Now I tried several things, already spent hours on research, the download and the installation of all kinds of modules, but none works well, unless you have considerable MySQL knowledge,... or add-ons just don't work without an add-on more costly, as DMX zone database connector. And I think it's shocking, as the subscription to the CC is far from free.

  I use Dreamweaver CC 2015... I can connect to my databases, but cannot create a user to connect through a form Modal Bootstrap. Why not? I use PHP MySQL.

  You will count the obsolete Server & database panels were removed from the DW for a reason, right?  The code is obsolete and should not be used on existing or future web projects.  The old MySQL connections do not work on servers running PHP 7.  Further, you must use (improved) MySQLi or PDO.

  If you don't want to or don't know how to manually encode the border, you can do it from the interface of DW...

  1. click on the Board design or Live View

  I use Dreamweaver CC 2015.3 and try to use the Image Map option. I'm not using it in Liveveiw so there must be another problem.

  I have inserted a picture and give MapId image2. After that, I tried to drag and drop all three circle, polygon, and rectangle. Nothing happened.

  No map tag is packed. Nothing happens. What is the reason?

  I expect this matter to be resolved in the recent updates, but no.  Still, I can't use Dreamweaver CC 2015 on my mac as it crashes whenever I try to save a file.  I'm on Mac 10.11.6

  This looks like a crash dump. It is possible that the original code is always in the file, probably upstairs or downstairs. If this isn't the case, I don't think that there is a way you can recover the file. Dreamweaver does not make backups.

  The beta version of Dreamweaver tries to recover files after a crash, as long as they have been recorded at least once, but this feature is not in DW CC 2015.3.

• Dreamweaver CC 2015 constantly does not

  I searched for a half day and tried everything I could find, but despite it all Dreamweaver is more or less useless right now for me.

  It seems that every third time I try to touch a file, my cursor goes dead and the wheel starts to turn. It goes into "Not responding" when I do an Opt-Cmd-Esc and it will be like that for the minutes.

  I have restored the preferences, removed the preferences, deleted the MacFileCache file, completely uninstalled/reinstalled... changed application one number any preference settings, nothing works. I want to use Dreamweaver to this work, but I'm about to give up.

  It's the most likely explanation. Dreamweaver is designed to work with local files, or at least the files on a local network. If you work with files on a remote server, because you are working in a team, normal is to use check-out/check-in of Dreamweaver functionality. However, for that to work satisfactorily everyone should be using Dreamweaver and check files in and out.

  Editing the registry, as shown in this video, is the only way of doing what you want.

  Out of curiosity, is there a reason why you want to clear the list of recent files on a regular basis? I've never done in DW. In Photoshop, maybe a few times.

  PRAB 2015.3 is only for Windows and only fixed a bug where DW would keep the computer from going into Standby Mode.

  I need detailed instructions, step by step, how to connect to the server and upload my site on my computer.  The instructions must be compatible with what is actually happening using Dreamweaver CC 2015.  I'm new to Dreamweaver and have no experience with it.  And Microsoft no longer supports Expression Studio, it is virtually impossible for me to reinstall it on my computer.

  Connect to your remote server by adding in your FTP credentials during the process of site definition (user name, password, root folder and to the address of the server). You get this info from your host and save it in your site settings in the Site > Manage Sites > click the site > Edit > servers (hit the + to create a new server if you have not already).

  To connect to your server once the info has been added to the Site definition, open the files window (window > files, or F8 if it is not open), and then click the Connect button (icon). You can then hit the expand button (icon of two places) to see a representation next to your files the and remote.
