Dreamweaver CC Media Phonegap?

Hello team Adobe,

Recently I went through some of the video tutorials on developing application mobile cross-platform with Phonegap. In the videos, I found CC of Dreamweaver supports Phonegap and there is a plugin available to her.

I just downloaded the trial of Dreamweaver CC to just check its operation. I found no Phonegape on the CC of Dreamweaver. I tried looking for a plugin for Dreamweaver CC Phonegap but did not find.

I just want to know if Phonegap is supported on Dreamweaver CC? How can I get the trial to test.

Someone from your team member can help me get Phonegap plugin for Dreamweaver CC?

That's what was shown in the tutorial

This is what I found when I tried.

Have you changed the fluid Grid.css?  My thought is that maybe you have deleted one of the nested braces.

  • CS6 Dreamweaver crashes whenever a document HTML is updated in another program.

This only happens to the CS6.  Normally when an HTML document is updated in another program just Dreamweaver updates the open copy.  But CS6 actually crashes / freezes and requires a forced exit and restart.

I frequently files open in Dreamweaver and media without any problem.

When DW starts acting weird, the first thing to try is removing corrupted Cache.

If that doesn't fix it, try restoring preferences.

I am new to Dreamweaver and bought cs6, I want to build mobile applications. I should start by Web sites first, or should I jump in full. I am a novice and need a direction and had to begin.

Try this tutorial with one exception.  You must go directly to the website of PhoneGap Build to compile the code of your mobile application.

  • Possible to convert a site Dreamweaver html application?

I have a question that might be a little too complicated for this forum, but I thought I could give it a try and see if anyone could help me (I'm fairly new to all this. I'm pretty good with Photoshop, familiarize yourself with DreamWeaver, but that's all. I know nothing about coding, but I'm learning).

I am currently working on a website in Dreamweaver project - basically it's the interactive picture book for children. The child would log on to the site, click on the book to open it on the screen, and they can click on the screen to turn the pages. They can also click on the characters and they'll animate (I intend to add sounds to these animations later). It's now a html site. What I was asking is, what should be done to turn this into a downloadable application for a smartphone? Is there an easy way to convert a Dreamweaver site for an application?

In defence of Dreamweaver, I created several web and mobile applications over the past years, three of which are currently on the Apple App Store and the other on Google Play - all developed with Dreamweaver and the PhoneGap Build service. I have never used another tool to develop projects client app. I had planned to go with Intel XDK for my latest project, an application very simple anecdote, but I've had a month to go from concept to app store submission, so I stuck with what I knew. I was hoping better from Adobe mobile development tools now, but I'll settle for the new workflow Responsive Web Design previously mentioned by the staff. ;-)

I had only scratched the surface with some links that I provided above. There are so many tools and platform choices out there, some requiring less effort in the Department of development than others, leaving more room for creativity. If you persevere with Dw, it is important to learn the basics (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery Mobile, etc.), as part of the mobile workflow by 20141 Dw has been deprecated.

This could be a good starting point for the basics: CC Dreamweaver tutorials | Learn how to use Dreamweaver CC

And here: Train Simple - Adobe online training

And here: products | Dreamweaver | Adobe TV

It is a bit tricky trying to identify the good tutorials for mobile development in the latest version of Dreamweaver, because the new CC subscription model allows much faster changes between versions. Here are a few:

    1. http://www.Lynda.com/Android-tutorials/building-Android-iOS-apps-Dreamweaver-CC-PhoneGap/1 72853 - 2.html
    2. Maybe this is significant? : build mobile applications and websites with Dreamweaver | Adobe Developer Connection
    3. Using Dreamweaver | Applications web packaging and native mobile applications with PhoneGap Build
    4. TechLive | Adobe Developer Connection

I don't know that there are many others via Google search.

  • Getting started with DW and PhoneGap

I checked the videos and the frequently asked questions, and I can't seem to find an answer to this simple question (?):

How do you initially create a PhoneGap app in DreamWeaver?

The videos show things such as how upload/build/install/etc such an app, but they all start with 'here's the app that is ready to build  They already have assets such as "phonegap.js" in the project.

    Try this tutorial:

  • Build PhoneGap service "build error.

I can't with Dreamweaver CC and PhoneGap Service of Build. I get "build error" and when I click on the button 'show' he says: "unable to download the application. (I build for Android only.) And build.phonegap.com my application name changed to 'PhoneGap Build Project' why? He had the good name before... And said the version 1.0.0 which is also wrong. The app ID is: 819335

    Hi Moki,

Could you please download the zip file of the project on build.phonegap.com and build and tell me if you are faced with the same question.

This could help solve your problem.

  • Animate edge and Dreamweaver cs6

Although the Adobe Dreamweaver videos show a way to import Edge files in Dreamweaver cs6 media insert features, I just bought my CS6 doesn't have this option.  Y at - it a plug-in / extension I can add?

Was purchased as point or via the Cloud Adobe product?

I think that its an Adobe exlusive cloud update, as shown here - http://www.adobe.com/ca/products/dreamweaver/features.html

If your product is a subscription cloud one, then it should be avialable as a Dw update > help > updates menu command.

  • Where the PhoneGap model?

I bought the CS6 for the PhoneGap build, but now the Jquery model (PhoneGap) does not exist.

I'm sick and tired of searching something it was there before.

How can I activate my phonegap functions and where is the documentation where are the tutorials.

I spend hours looking for things, rather than to code what I already know how to do, but can not activate because the IDE is not over.

I know I sound frustrated, but I'm about to ask for a refund.

This is the corresponding code in the associated JS file:

    function writeMovie3()

    {document.write (' < object id = "id8" classid = "clsid:02BF25D5 - 8 c 17 - 4B 23 - BC80 - D3488ABDDC6B" codebase = "http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab" width = "102" height = "16" > < param name = "src" value="Media/06%20E%20Morio.mov" / > < param name = "controller" value = "true" / > < param name = value "autoplay" = "false" / > < param name = value "Scale" = "tofit" / > < param name = value "volume" = "100" / > < param name = value "loop" = "false" / > < / object > ') ;} }

    Another yew (isiPhone)

    {document.write (' < object id = "id8" type = "video/quicktime" width = "102" height = "16" data="Media/06%20E%20Morio.mov" > < param name = "src" value="Media/06%20E%20Morio.mov"/ > < param name = "controller" value = "true" / > < param name = value "autoplay" = "false" / > < param name = value "Scale" = "tofit" / > < param name = value "volume" = "100" / > < param name = value "loop" = "false" / > < / object > ') ;}}}

In a folder named Media is the 06 E Morio.mov file.

When I view the page Music.html locally, I see the graphics standard that appears with audio files - a horizontal thing, metallic color with a button you can push to start audio and a little button that slowly moves to the right until the song is finished. But when I view the page online, I don't see anything.

I tried to rename the audio file to 06_E_Morio.mov (to replace spaces with underscores), then replace every occurrence of %20 in the code of the JS file with underscore as well. But who killed on the spot.

I had a lot of problems with links that included capital letters and so does not correspond with images or JS files which were tiny. So, I guess that this problem has to do with either a value that should or should not have a capital letter or a question of space - either I need to replace %20 with underscores, or I need to insert characters to underscores in names of the audio files, etc.

    Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Use the Dreamweaver, Insert - Media - plug-in for insert quicktime files in dreamweaver.

It is for files quicktime video, but the procedure is the same for audio - http://www.layersmagazine.com/using-quicktime-videos-with-dreamweaver.html.

  • a link to menu flash in macromedia dreamweaver 8

If you have flash menu drop-down navigation menu (swf)

and attached in html to dreamweaver (insert-media-flash)

So how can we link the perticular page by clicking on the navigation button menu flash?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi melody,.

I agree the models are sometimes not a good way to do. What you could do is to put your menu on a separate page and use Server Side Includes to include the menu on each page. Then simply change and download the menu page and it will change all the pages.

You may need your site Muse of export to HTML and take help from any external code such as Dreamweaver or Media Editor to add the library to the desired position.
