  I did a Spry menu bar that makes its own Assets folder, but when I try to download it to the remote server it comes up with an error to say that

  You can try to put the file ubto in the directory root (without the subdirectory).

  I solved the problem in adusting the html code, reset a new table and adjust my images

  in Photoshop CS5.

  Can someone explain why all my Spry assets on a website online have stopped responding? I checked that Spry CSS and JS files are in place. Then checked the files on Dreamweavers mode live view and they do not work here either. It was fine a few weeks ago that it's almost as if the web browsers stopped tearing Spry, for example, the links for the collapsible panels are not yet recognized as links.

  I use 'old' on Dreamweaver CS4 spry assets (if that makes a difference). Active Spry tabbed panels are removable panels.

  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the use of ridicule of absolute positioning is the problem, not the Spry Menu.

  If you change the z-index in apDiv14 as later, it should help the menu to be at the top

  For now, you have a large number of errors that need to be addressed, about 90 altogether.

  While some browsers allow to better interpereting what you wanted to do than others (IE being the absolute worst), DW is a maniac, especially in Design view. It is still displayed incorrectly in DW after you fix all the problems, after return and we can take a closer look.

• Yet another Visual problem Dreamweaver CS5

  I've been running CS5 DW for months. Last night while making a small local PHP page, DW locked up. I closed DW and now everytime I try to run it, I see 'Classic' to come (even this truncated dialog box) and then that's where the video ends. I can open a new page, etc, but the application window is never greater than that.

  I see you mentioned deleting the cache file, but have you tried to delete the entire User Configuration folder? (This is the same folder in which the file cache is stored.)

  Have you tried to remove your site definition (s) and then delete the file cache?

  It is also possible that Dreamweaver needs to connect to your server to test and somehow created this very large cache file.

  An easy way to clear your sites is to Save a backup to and then delete the following registry key:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Common\11

  (Assuming you are using CS5. CS5.5 would be 11.5.)

  After deleting the registry key, delete the cache file (or full User Configuration folder) and then restart Dreamweaver.

  If this does not help, then I suggest that you take the following steps:

  -Remove the Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5 \Adobe C:\Program Files (x 86) folder and then use your original installer to reinstall Dreamweaver. This will repair the installation. Don't forget to install the updates after the repair.

  -Install or re-install the latest graphics drivers for your system.

  -Create a new Windows user account, log out of your account, log in to the new account, and then try to run Dreamweaver.

  Dreamweaver cs5 Edition copy and paste does not work,

  So Windows 7 SP1. I tried to rename the follder config and start again and it does not work.

  Problem is when I select a file from windows Explorer, then go to Dreamweaver, choose the destination folder and editing/paste is disable, reverse operation is the same, selecting file in dreamweaver, editing/copy, go to the folder of windows Explorer and paste doesn´t work too.   My copy of DW also works as you describe, I think it's just "the way that it is" in DW.

  To copy a file from another location on your computer to your site, copy it from the original location and paste it into the site folder within windows Explorer (do not use DW at all).

  You can also drag a file from your desktop to your files window in DW to make a copy.

• Impossible to reinstall Dreamweaver CS5

  Had to uninstall Dreamweaver CS5 because of weird things happening and lack of aspects of the case. Got all kinds of windows popup "cannot complete the operation...". ».

  Now I want to reinstall a clean version but when I opened Creative Suite 5 Design Premium, it only gives me the uninstall options, as well as Dreamweaver does not even appear in the list of products.

  Yet once, there no option to install or reinstall.

  I opened Adobe Support Advisor and clicked on the link to their solution, and here is the solution I got:

  This error occurs if you reinstall Photoshop CS4 when the Photoshop CS5, CS5.5 and Photoshop CS4 are already installed on your system. To properly reinstall Photoshop CS4, Photoshop CS4 first remove and then reinstall it.

  What the devil? I don't have a problem with Photoshop! So, I took the empty Dreamweaver folder that was always in my apps and moved to the trash. Always the same story.

  If you have the info set, you should be able to use the cleanup tool to remove the program all together (migrating from one machine to another rarely ever works), then download the correct version of Adobe, install and enter your registration information to activate...
