  I did a Spry menu bar that makes its own Assets folder, but when I try to download it to the remote server it comes up with an error to say that

  You can try to put the file ubto in the directory root (without the subdirectory).

  1. Try to burn your website on a cd or create a your site .iso image and mount it with editing etc. (for xp Daemon Lite...) software
  2. To add the site from the cd
  3. If there is no error message, then rename your hard drive should certainly do the trick
  4. But if there is an error message, so I don't KNOW, maybe DW can't read the right directory or something...
  5. Try to change the drive as "G:" of TEST ONLY letter, then go back!

  You must download and install Windows XP Service Pack 2 (if not already installed) followed in Windows XP Service Pack 3.  You will find two of them at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads - download the "Network Installation Package" for the two and ignore the part about them being only for the professionals - the parcel I recommend you download will install with or without network connection.

  You try to access the shared computer using the UNC (Universal Naming Convention) path. The syntax is as follows.

  \\computername\sharename

• Thunderbird seems to be corrupted, with a wide range of problems (e-mail folder does not open it, names of the attachments not displayed,...) CAUSE: McAfee Antivirus

  Win XP home edition:

  I have some folders that are shared, but if some files have been added after the folder has been shared, I am unable to access it from another PC in the House, unless I go back to the original pc where the records are, cancel the shares and then re-enable records.

  It is very annoying. Is this normal behavior and the limitation of the shared folder on a family Win XP Edition machine, or is this something that needs correcting. Of course, these files are not added directly by a user, but rather by a sharing of program files that stores these files on such predetermined files, once the file is completely downloaded.

  When you "move" a file on the same drive from one place to the other, the permissions of files in this folder are not changed by default.  So if you create a file in a folder where you have only access permission, this permission then follows the file when moved to your share folder.  Perhaps the simplest solution to this problem is to 'copy' the file in the folder share instead of "move".  When you copy, the newly copied file takes the permissions of the folder that contains.  These default values can be changed if you wish.  You can read more here:

  I have the following problem when I activate FTP from the command prompt when the current folder is not on the system drive.

  I have a similar problem when you use a client FTP (ftprush)... It is installed on the D:\ and activation with the startup in D:\ folder reports 10038 (invalid socket handle)... It works fine when the startup folder is c: drive

• Windows 7 - files in the Desktop folder do not appear on real office

  I had Windows 7 installed a few months, have not had a single problem with it until the last round of updates. After the reboot, everything on my desk has disappeared, including trash. However, if I go to my home, all my files, links directory, folders and trash are always there. If I copy or drag something on the desktop, it immediately disappears, but again it is in my Desktop folder.

  I tried everything I can think and found fixes for similar problems in Vista, but they do not work with Windows 7.

  Maybe try right-click on desktop, display and uncheck the box next to show the desktop icons; then repeat and re-check the box. I had that happen before and it worked for me...

  If activate the commented "If" condition of "copyFileToAssetsFolder" int he removes already created quizz.db file in the current folder (that Im unable to find) and goes inside the next ' if' and copy the quizz.db created on the folder "data" of active fodler. But in any case I don't find the quizz.db in the current folder. I really need help with this quickly. Thank you.

• Write access to the assets folder

  I have DB SQLite file liabilities. When I deploy I simply open the connection in the current folder.

  In the docs it says assets folder is a single reading file and app must copy the files that need to be writable in the application data directory in the current folder.

  However on Simulator and dev alpha I simply open the connection to db file in the current folder and are able read/change data in the db file and the changes are persisted between application restarts.

  Will be this change in behavior on an actual release or am I missing something?

  What you see is only a convenience for certain types of use during development. Signed apps do NOT have writing anywhere inside their "app" folder, which includes the current folder. You * must * copy of data / first launch, if you want to make changes to these files. Alternatively, implement a mechanism of "copy on write" if only the files that have been changed in fact never get copied, of course, which is more complicated.
