  A few years ago I created my site using WYSIWYG Web builder 5.5 and now I get my hands on Dreamweaver CS5 and I'm trying to learn it. I find some tutorials on the internet with lots of useful information. Because I used very simple WYSIWYG Web builder 5.5, I'm not so good with HTML and CSS. But I'm learning.

  I have a problem and I can not find solution for it.

  I want to use the templates because they are the simplest tings. I have about 190 pages on my site (http://f1-dictionary.110mb.com) and models will help a lot.

  I created a page and I call it (title) "Home" and I save it as a template as "index.dwt". I created editable regions (content) and blocked domains ("header" 'sidebar1″' I 'sidebar2'). According to all the tutorials, I find, < title > < / title > part is editable, and you are free to change the title of the page. But not in my case.   In my case, all the pages created from index.dwt template have the same title (home) and I can't change it. For my home page created from this template it of OK, but the front page of the site, I want to give the title 'Sitemap' but I can't. It is automatically replaced by back home. And this isn't what I want.

  In my case only 'Doctype' is free for editing and everything after that code window is grey, < title > home < /title > included:

  All inclusive and after "> <!-InstanceBegin template="/Templates/index.dwt "codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked ="false"-> is grayed out and unavailable for editing. And I can't change title 'Home' to the 'Sitemap '.

  Please help me! Or I'm doing something wrong, or... I do not know!

  What you need to do is to open the file, index.dwt, switch to view code and joined yourtag of polarity

  code to create an editable, as illustrated below:

  As a side note, you need to save the as model .dwt file: Save as > model.

  This creates a "Templates" folder in your site folder and a file named "template.dwt".

  Once this has been done you then create other pages of the file "template.dwt".

  page 190, I would seriously consider SSI (Server Side Includes) as a method of updating the pages.

  Using this method you just update one or two files based on the editable sections how you

  on your page/s. Then, you only need to download these handful of files that have changed on the server instead

• Problem with activation trial vs CS5.5

  My hard drive crashed and I lost my CS5.5, thanks to the community, I was able to download a trial version on my new hard drive. The problem is that Adobe is recognizing my serial number as a version upgrade, which, at the time when I bought it was not what I thought I was buying.  I ran CS2 and they couldn't or wouldn't upgrade of this series.  So when I try to activate the verson of the trial with my serial number CS5.5, I get a window that opens and does not recognize my valid CS2 serial number, (there is no option for CS2) so tried the other option by clicking on the button buy, I learned that it is no longer available.

  I tried to call Adobe and women, I spoke, told me that they've improved from CS2 and which is why I got this product.  She tried to turn me to support, but after a long wait on hold, I gave up on waiting.  So, how to resolve this loop?  I don't have CS2 on my new hard drive because of the accident, and I don't know if I still have the software.  I don't know that I paid for the full version of CS5.5.  And the days are countdown on my trial version.

• Problems with InDesign in Dreamweaver - nothing goes with my code?

  I'm working on a site of DW and I'm having some trouble with the InDesign that I use. I am new to the program, so I'm still working my way, but I think it might be something with my code. Can you guys help out me?

  -The affected area is a three-column home page area.

  -I am trying to use the InDesign so that the webfonts pop up as text in all three columns.

  -The problem is that the webfonts are only applied to part of the text on one of the columns.

  Uploaded to a server to http://rntestsite.6te.net/ test and the problem seems to be fixed. Maybe that's just a problem with the program.

• Problem with resizing table InDesign CS5

  I have problems with resizing of tables in InDesign CS5.

  The width can be entered and a decrease, but the right height do move up nor down when you pull in the lower right corner or anywhere else on the base of the columns.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  Is it a bug or maybe just me not understanding things correctly in the help...?

• Problem with links in Dreamweaver CS3 site root

  I have problems with the links from the root of the site when I'm working on my localhost with Dreamweaver CS3.
  
  I'm building a site with PHP, MySQL using the WAMP server. I have a page (www.site.com/index.php) I want to copy in the subdirectories (e.g. www.site.com/about/index.php) then I want to do the copy as painless as possible by using the links from the site root (e.g. /about/index.php). It works on the internet but NOT on localhost.
  
  Why is this? What can we do? Is there a fix if it is a bug? This seems like a simple thing, but it's such a problem.

• Problems with Setup of Photoshop CS5 running on my Mac

  Hello.

  I'm trying to run a Setup program (Photoshop CS5) on my iMac OS10.11, but every time I double click on the Setup application, an error message appears saying that "Installer" is damaged and cannot be opened. All the world is facing this issue before?

  I used PS CS5 on my other Mac Pro desktop, but given that this unit has been sent for repair, I tried to install PS CS5 on my iMac, does not. Any advice would be appreciated.

• Problems with the selections in cs5

  Hey, recently I started noticing odd behavior that's not happened before involving selections in photoshop cs5.

  the first thing I noticed, when I made a selection with the lasso on any given layer and hit transform, the tool only has not automatically select active pixels as it did before. Instead, the processing area was around the entire selection, I did even if the borders do not contain active pixels. It is a very big problem for me because when I have my items in a certain place, and I want to turn them in this position, thay move somewhat because the selection is not limited to the shape. I was wondering if this is some new CS5 that can be changed. or old function that I've accidentally switched on.

  My second problem is that when I make a selection with the Selection tool or the lasso tool, then I swiitch on the move tool to move the selected content and then switch back to a selection tool to delete only a part of the previous Thatcher so that I can spend the rest of the content, place of deselection of this region, it erases the pixels contained in the deselection. and I just want to remove the selection, do not delete the pixels. I also wonder if it is a function that can be modified or if I have a big problem.

  A solution might be to switch to the tool move and press the left and right arrow in the order.

  You are in Live View mode by accident?

  Switch to the Design mode. The editor in Live mode, while better than it was when it was introduced, not still not all the functions of the Design view. In your toolbar, click the triangle next to Live and choose Design. This will give you the ability to change size by dragging the corners of selected images...

Check the firewall (no problem), other ftp programs that work fine, old version of Dreamweaver - works but not with Mac os 10.10 Yosemite. Implemented irs.guv - new Dreamweaver communicates with this and other FTP sites very well. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice. What should I do?

  Please follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Quit Dreamweaver runs.
  2. Go to the Spotlight (magnifying glass icon on the far right of the menu bar) and type "keychain". Locate the "Keychain Access" application, then click on to start.
  3. In Keychain Access, you should see a list of keychain items.  Look in the 'Name' column for an affected item named with the name of the Site from your site. It will look something like this: ' sitename-SiteServer 0. It will also say 'application password' in the column 'Genre '.
  4. Click the item to select. You should see a few properties of the Keychain item appears at the top of the Keychain Access window. As a double check, make sure that the value for the 'account' is the name of the FTP user.  If this isn't the case, then you can have the wrong item.
  5. Once you are happy, you have the correct item, and it is selected, press the delete key to remove it. Leave the application open for now.
  6. Start Dreamweaver, go to the "Manage Sites" dialog (Site > Manage Sites...) and modify the affected site. Click on the servers section and double-click the server in the list to edit it.
  7. Enter the FTP username and password, and then click Save to close the editing server box and click on save again to close the site box.
  8. You should now see that a new element of Keychain has been created in Keychain Access (it must have the same name).
  9. You can quit Keychain Access and Dreamweaver now and then restart Dreamweaver and check if it works now without having to re - enter the FTP details.

  Please let us know if you still face problems.

• Problems with links in Dreamweaver

  The links on this page have worked so far. Don't know what I did differently... I made links with the properties and menu behaviors as before, but now the links on this page behave as if they are instead of links drop-down menus.

  I tried to rebuild the tables in which these links are placed and I tried to copy and paste links (which are still working on other pages) on this page, but when I do, they also act as drop downs instead of links.y

  I also noticed that the link to my site (at the bottom of the page, which was untouched) is also no longer work correctly.

  Probably goes without saying, but I'm a designer, not a programmer and I know very little code.

  The row height is missing in a unit of measure, so it seems to be failing at the 16em. The reason why it looks like a menu drop-down is because a single line of text becomes 16 "while you click on" which is essentially what: active way.

  Delete the row height and it should work properly

  I hope someone can help me with the following:
  
  Recently I can only connect to the host FTP in Dreamweaver once per day.
  
  I have two sites defined in my Dreamweaver 4 and before I was able to connect several times a day the two don't sites - no problem.

• Problem with registration of Photoshop CS5

  Hello

  I bought Photoshop CS5 from a previous owner with the full kit and serial number. This copy is supposed to be uninstalled and off from any other computer. I successfully installed and activated, it but I don't see it in the page "my products" in my Adobe account. When I try to register the product to my account I get already 'registered' error message.

  What should I do to have this Photoshop copy successfully recorded in my name and my account?

• Problem with 'Cancel' in Dreamweaver CC

  When you press 'Cancel' or Ctrl + z, dreamweaver goes back in its last state saved, select the entire document rather than just cancel the last edition as he has done in all previous versions of Dreamweaver.

• Terrible problems with BC and Dreamweaver

  I've used Dreamweaver for awhile now, and one of my favorite features is the ability to create templates.  Models have saved me countless hours of work to set up a site and the ability to edit entire sections with a single file.  Recently, I changed to use only stand for creative cloud programs.  At first, I was a little excited to use Business Catalyst, but more I use more, I hate it.

  When I create an HTML file from a template, all the code for the template is added to the file.  If I take this single HTML file to another computer I can open it perfectly fine with everything I need in there.  However, if I download it to denounce business, it is then separated into two separate files: model and content.  Then, for some unknown reason, the model file appears in white on Business Catalyst and subsequently causes my site in full to lost half of its content on each page.  All I want is to be able to transfer my files on a web server without going through my code invaded by a third-party program.  I want to type the code I have to appear on the internet.  Is - that so much to ask?

  To use Dreamweaver templates, you need to add the tag {tag_pagecontent} where you want the content of your page.
