  I'm having a problem of construction of a Page of results using Dreamweaver CS6.  I followed all the steps in Dreamweaver/Build search and results Page Article (several times).  It seems that when I save the page of results, it does not copy the php used to generate the dynamic table.  In fact when I view the source, I don't see any php code.

  In addition, when I try to bind the Recordset, it also does not accept the default values.  Enstead it gives me a list of all the data in the colum (s) chosen for the record (using Where... LIKE... the variable definition).

  I have only seen AS used with channels, so I don't know what your "0" will come back.  Could it be part of your problem?

• Dreamweaver CS6 configuration problems

  I have recently updated from CS3 to CS6 and encounter some minor problems with the implementation of a site, as well as with certain points of view.

  Set up a site: (first I'll explain how to use DW)

  I keep all my customers and my own company sites on an external USB drive in folders named [#Customer site] and [#Company site] respectively. The naming convention is really there just to keep these at the top of the directory listing as access frequently (the symbol # has never caused problems with CS3 or earlier versions by the way).   I never do not connect to a remote server or using the built-in FTP features in DW I found they too easily corrupt living sites with check-in / check out feature.  Thus, each site is 100% on my local machine (with connections to remote DB servers) if necessary.  I have Win7 Ultimate with IIS installed and running and localhost which brings me to the page of IIS7 as expected (so we can dispel all issues with IIS).  I always set up my test server to be Local/network and preview in the browser has always worked in the past with no problems.  Regarding the transfer of content on live servers, I have and will always use a separate FTP client for (never leave DW anywhere near FTP)

The system reported the error: M:\ contains a path wrong..'.»   Again I re-checked the Setup, the paths in the site definition and all are pointing to the correct location.

  I built a fluid page simple grid to test the feature... Here are the corresponding site definition settings:

  Site name: FluidTest

  The local Site folder: M:\#COMPANY SITES\FluidTest\

  Server name: Local

  Connect using: Local/network

  Folder on the server: M:\#COMPANY SITES\FluidTest

  Web URL: http://localhost/fluidtest

  Note that I was able to get the preview in a browser feature to work once I created a virtual directory under the "default Web Site" in IIS, but can not get this to work when I just create it as a new Web site. "  Seems that localhost only wants to run under the default Web site.   Thought to turn manually the sites and outside, in IIS, but shouldn't do this with Win7 that IIS is supposed to be able to manage several websites.  I'll probably understand a work around for this... just annoyance I would mention that it's a little context.

  Boredom of checkerboard to fluid:
  I don't know I'm missing a setting somewhere but after creating my simple FluidTest site, I don't see the columns of rose in the presentation of the grid.  After uninstalling CS6, removing all traces of Adobe and re - install CS6, I always have this problem.  I turn on all the settings of Visual AIDS [view-> Visual AIDS] and the pink column grid is still not visible in layouts for mobile, tablet or desktop.  Someone at - it solution, please enlighten me.

  I never had this problem before.

  I use DW CS6 and when I try to upload files to my server it takes forever.

  When I use my laptop the process to download the files so fast is not the server.

  I tried to disable my firewall and no improvement.

  I config my firewall (Viper Internet security) to give full access to DW CS6 and still no improvement. I disabled all my extensions and delete the cache file and still no improvement.

  Until I upgraded my PC (new motherboard, CPU, RAM), I firstly disabled my Dreamweaver CS6 license.   The simplest way to use CS6 on a former site of CS4 on the same computer would be of...

  1. open CS4 and choose Site > Manage Sites

  2. Select the site and choose export

  3. This will create a your site settings .ste file (no site file is stored in this)

  4 close the CS4 and open CS6

  5 CS6 hit Site > Manage Sites > import to bring these parameters from the .ste file

  This will give you the same exact settings (FTP and otherwise) of CS4 in CS6 while using the same files the.

  If you use another computer together, you will need to make a copy of your local site on the new machine folder, and then export/import the .ste as above with an extra step possible Reassociation the local site on the new machine folder, if the structure/location of the file is not the same between machines.

  I use Dreamweaver CS6, I inserted a SWF file in my index.php located on localhost (XAMPP). When I try to preview my page (on chrome or IE, or Dreamweaver Live), it asks Flash Player 16. I installed it but still ask for it. All solutions?

  Have you tried to load a test page to your Web site? Preview Flash locally is hit or miss.... unless what I remember. If it works on your site using multiple browsers, then I think that you cannot ignore the problem of local insight.

  Dreamweaver CS6 is now four years old, and it will never be updated. It could operate satisfactorily on El Capitan, but it is not certified for it. The latest version of Mac OS X it is certified for is 10.7 (Lion). If you try to buy CS6 directly from Adobe, the sales agent will not sell it for any version of Mac OS X late 10.7.

  I don't know how the registration and activation of the academic versions works, but if you buy a legitimate version of the program, there should not be any technical problems with the activation.

  Even if you can register and activate the program, the fact that it will never updated means you run the risk to not work on the latest versions of Mac OS X. purchase a perpetual license does not mean that the software will work in perpetuity.

  In my view, that there are special academic rates for the creative cloud. Although it's in progress payments, it might be a better investment than CS6.
