  It's good to have the packages working properly again.

  Here is what has been done to solve;

  a. Control Panel > uninstall - all with Adobe name in it (and I mean everything)

  b. visited c:\Program Adobe and deleted the files that might be deleted (11.0 Acrobat for a reason any would not even if it has been uninstalled).

  c. past user to an admin account and ran CCleaner to clean the registry.

  d. reset and connected as a normal user.

  e. visited Adobe.com and re-installed AAM and downloaed DW CS6. After installation - it works.

  f. downloaded FW CS6 and installed - it works very well also.

  I still don't know what caused it, but its gone and I am running CS6 DW and FW CS6 on a 32-bit Vista computer quite happily.

  I need to get acrobat back on here which could be a new problem which is too not cited as suitable for Vista, let's see.

  I am a student of a course in web design, and many of our missions require that I use liquid layouts of Dreamweaver CS6. The problem is that I have Dreamweaver CC (who cut a large number of templates), and buy the old version for this class seems silly.

  Anyone know where I can find the standard CS6 layouts set to download? If not, anyone know where I could find at least plug on these layouts? I'm proficient in coding and web scripts, but I will not be anchored class points because I put a width of 75% instead of 80% or used an incompatible class name.

  FWIW, CBWMS removes these old patterns because they were considered outdated or redundant (because they were just variations of a basic layout) HTML standards.

  You can download DWCS6 and have access to all of them, open one, save it in your site and switch back to CBWMS if you wish.

  As far as I know, they cannot be added to CBWMS, but you get the two programs as a CC subscriber, only, they do not work at the same time.

  I'm trying to work through Lesson 4 in DW CS6 Classroom in a Book and have problems to step 15 on page 90 for work. I followed the book as much as I understand the steps. The problem I encountered several times is when you select paragraph from the Format pop-up in the property inspector, and then try to type at home | Who are we | Contact us. As soon as I hit the H, it changes the tags < p > < / p > < h1 > < / h1 > tags and will not enter any text between the tags. Someone has an idea what Miss me in the instructions? (I am comfortable doing in the HTML, but the point is to use Dreamweaver to do).

  This is because you always focus on the dropdown format menu. The time that you hit a drop-down list: choose the first value beginning with an h, H1.

  To remedy this, click anywhere in the design view before typing the menu items.

  I was told today in the cat, by Technical Support, it was a problem of compatibility between Dreamweaver CC and Dreamweaver CS6 (for grid of fluid).  This can be confirmed?  I have no problem to return and rebuild previously designed fluid grid of web pages.  I just want to know that there is no fix/work around available?

  Problem solved.  It lacked the brace "}" involving the Media Queries page .css.  (Please see my response to Arindam_G in the Discussion 'Crash Total (CC) on the attempt of fluid to create checkerboard!').

  I have change the law according to the recommended page.
