  Hi, I use dreamweaver cs6 on win xp sp 3 and it keeps save my files as a firefox html document and cannot understand how to stop what I have to do my ftp to upload files. It also loaded the files of my site in dreamweaver cs 5 as firefox html document. I am running firefox worm 13.0.1. Any help would be usefeful. I tried searching google and found nothing. And General help from adobe does not wok.

  FYI: HTML docs are docs HTML.  It doesn't matter if the associated file icon is FF, Chrome, IE, or DW. It is always a web document.  There is nothing prevents you to download with your FTP client.

• lost serial number for Dreamweaver CS6

  I had Dreamweaver CS6 for some time without installing, now I try to install and save but I lost the serial number.  I have a copy of my Bill from the dealer and have contacted them every way I can that have not been answered (he phone number is disconnected as well.)  I also made several researches on the forums and tried all directions proposed without success.  I hate this post because there are so many similar positions there, but until now im an impasse. Is there another way I can retrieve my serial number?

  When you use the "Preview in browser" feature (FRP), Dreamweaver checks if you have a 'test' defined server. If you have a 'test' defined for your site server, Dreamweaver attempts to launch the file from the server 'test' instead of the 'Local' copy Dreamweaver never tried to start the 'remote server' file using the file of personal information.

  For Dreamweaver to launch your local file using the file of personal information, please follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Launch Dreamweaver

• HP Scan: HP SCAN save button does not work after upgrade OS Sierra 10.12

  Just finished the upgarde 10.12 Sierra OS on my mac. When you use the software to SCAN HP with my Officejet Pro8600 more I can no longer save the scanned document. Scanning works fine, I can click on save in the file menu, but in the record window after entering a file name, I can't click on save button. Its a dull grey color.

  Go to the Applications folder move the HP Scan application to the trash and empty the trash.

  Since a few days, find it me impossible to validate the HTML with the Dreamweaver CS6 validator, I use it occasionally for a few years, it worked well before and it is up-to-date.

  I click as usual on validate the current document (W3C)

  A popup window opens, that of dreamweaver that will send the document to end of audit service W3C (usual message), I click OK as usual...

  Crowing instead results in the bottom of the Dreamweaver...

  A popup window never seen before appears and tells... You will be redirected to a new website with button choice of Yes or not

  I click Yes and a new popup opens instantly by saying...

  The period of the application of the W3C service has been exceeded. The service (or your Internet connection) doesn't seem to work.

  The Internet connection is functional.

  Someone else has this bug or am I the only one?

  The validation in CS6 tool uses a former link and give an error when used. The W3C has changed their validation algorithm and gave him a new address. Adobe is more updated of CS6, so there is nothing you can do to get the validation to work correctly in the program itself any longer. Newer version have the correct link.

  Use http://validator.w3.org/nu to access the W3C validator.,.

  You can also use the Firefox browser with the HTML Validator extension and a list of errors each time get you a glimpse into the browser itself.

  Best advice, do not use FGLayouts (inheritance) or if you do, you'll need to trick DW into thinking that they are normal layouts by adding an X to the CSS code available.

  Honestly?  Video is not an optimal method for the presentation of animations.  Better use an animated GIF, or edge to animate the outputs to HTML5 canvas, CSS3 and JavaScript.

  Video & specifically HTML5 video, is destined to all that is why users need the player controls to interact with him.

• Cannot be saved without closing the document (version of Dreamweaver CS6 12.2)

  At present, I am unable to save a page in Dreamweaver version 12.2 CS6 either with the command <>- shortened S or by selecting "Save" in the file menu.  The only means to save the changes to a page are using "save under" or close the document and answering "Yes" to the dialog box "save changes to [document name]?
