  Bis anhin habe ich some einfache tank sites Web Joomla with, da ich aber das CC Paket habe, uberlege ich mir does Web sites with Dreamweaver zu gestalten.

  How good are you with front end and back end coding?   Creating an application from scratch requires excellent coding skills and a good knowledge of databases, security, e-commerce, etc...

  Everything on your wish list can be done in Dreamweaver, but you must have the necessary coding skills & experience for all meet.   If it were my project, I think I would stick with Joomla.

• Table Simple Dreamweaver question

  I have so many tables, 100 rows, 5 columns for my data.  Here's my question, is there a way to tilt the table given above then go down and up and down.  All my data is from the old to the new, when I want recent to old.  I know that you can do in Excel by alphabet or date, id there a way DW

  Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure you can't sort a column or row of values in a table html using DW. What you could do is create your list in Excel, sort the list in Excel and copy the range of the table and paste it into DW, which will create a perfect html table. You can also copy and paste from Dreamweaver to Excel, but it is not as simple. You will need to copy and paste a column at a time, and you will have an additional empty line for each line populated.

  Another solution is to create a mySQL table that can be easily sorted and uses PHP to display the table on your page. You must know at least the basics mySQL and PHP to do that, but if want to add constantly new records to your table, mySQL is your best solution. If your table is static, the first solution works perfectly.

  I need help.

  I'm busy with Adobe Dreamweaver CC (2014) part 1 course.  In my first year they asked me to open a file in Dreamweaver from a folder, they sent me and make changes.  I can open it, everything, but when I need to make the changes that I can't like the options I need to work on is grayed out.  They want to go to view-Visual Aids and then toggle styles CSS, etc., but I can't do anything because the options are grayed out. I even tried with other exercises and there again I can't do anything because the options are grayed out.  May be because I'm working on the CC 2014 files and I installed DW CC 2015, or is there any other problem I can fix?

  Press the button CREATE (lower-right).

  Now, copy and paste the content of your TEXT file in the newly created HTML document.  Save as test.html.

• Dreamweaver question - missing scrollbars in Design view and published views

  I'll be very grateful for an overview here, hoping that I can correctly define the problem.  Student, part of our mission of Dreamweaver must publish a form contact us with php (I have also no experience with).

  Referring to the sample instructions, I done wrong replacement global, changing from GET to POST, hoping to simply update the example php document I had.  It seems that the process may have updated all occurrences in all of my small site.

  Besides the fact that I always have problems with my data to my email address, I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on why I have now lost my scroll bars on the right side of my screens in design mode and the published version of the Web site.

  When I check your code in Firefox tools, there is an overflow: hidden from somewhere. There are actually twoelements in the dev tool inspect element option. One seems to be from the script of modernizr on line 32.

  When I comment on this script, the scroll bars back.

• table simple padding with html and dreamweaver question

  I haven't used DW for awhile, excuse my beginner question. I created a table with 2 rows and 1 column in HTML. I inserted an image in the top line and an image on the bottom row. With border, Central and spacing between cells set to 0, I can't understand why I see padding/spacing of pixels at the bottom of each cell. I changed the background color of the cells in the red table so that its easy to show the padding. Change the vertical alignment to the cells does not change the issue. I've not created page CSS to do this. From what I remember from my previous experience with DW padding and spacing was quite simple when you create a table of basic HTML, so don't know where I am going wrong.   I went the same route. I started to want to learn web design and the Muse is an excellent tool. The code it generates, however, not to use it in Dreamweaver. This could be done, I think this isn't worth it, even for a real Geek. Once you get to Muse you will find there are things missing, stuff, you want to do, but are just tough in Muse or you can buy a widget. It is possible in DW and you get which through subscription, so it makes sense. Me what I know now, I'll go directly to DW to learn, except if you want results right now. If you don't want something to cause I stay with Muse and maybe learn to animate CC to add some pizazz to the site. If you only want a simple layout and a couple supporting stick with Muse pages if you want a larger site use DW. • Simple Question on Dreamweaver & wordpress :)

  Quick information on my site:

  • Right now, it is connected to my Localhost using WAMP and I use Wordpress.
  • Technically, what I do is to create my own personal theme for my Wordpress site.

  
  

  I have connected my website for the theme I have to use, however, a few questions.

  1. Style.CSS does not seem to appear on the site.
  2. If I move the size of the browser that links to DO NOT move. Basically, they move with the page (I guess I should use some code here to allow links to follow the page... to enable them to change position to follow the new dimensions of the browser).
  3. The background of my Web site on my site & dreamweaver LIVE but not appear on the Dreamweavers "design" mode

  The first problem is resolved when I press F12 in dreamweaver, sent me to:

  http://localhost/mywebsitename/WP-content/themes/mythemel/index.php

  What more he would soon go to

  http://localhost/mywebsitename/

  What is the difference? Why the power I appear on the first link that will clear everything right on the theme style but do not appear on the direct link to my Web site?
  The theme still works on my Web site?

  1. the link to the CSS file is incorrect. WordPress uses .htaccess to reduce the length of the URL

  2. for a delicate design, you must have the aid percentage or similar units. If you use absolute units as pixels, the provision will not change with the width of the screen.

  3. it could be that you had an error in the markup, Design view is not as forgiving as a browser.

  If you want more specific answers, we must be aware of the full code. A link to your site is the best way, although it does not allow us to see the code on the server side.

  As a side note, it is best to use the Panel that comes with WordPress. Design changes are possible using Dreamweaver, but you must have a GOOD understanding of the rules of style.

  I think that it is very subjective.  Depends on what you need, how much you want to pay, and the learning curve required to use and maintain. Which is better for you is maybe not the best for everyone.  You'll need to shop around and decide for yourself.

  Depends on the forum software that you decide to use.  If you want a dynamic website of conduct, you will also need to learn programming like PHP & MySql server-side.

• Question of menus. XML trying to launch Dreamweaver CS4

  I used Dreamweaver CS4 for many years on my Mac. I had a disk failure and had to reload all my apps from scratch, because there seems to be a problem with the time Machine upwards. Everything works well outside of Dreamweaver CS4, which shows an error message telling me to remove my menus.xml file and rename menus.bak menus.xml that everything just works.

  I checked and this has been asked before but none of the previous answers I have found will work for me. Any new ideas?

  Mavericks comes with Java SE7, DW must have Java SE 6.

• Second question about Dreamweaver templates

  HIiya,

  My next question on Dreamweaver templates.  I used the 2 fixed coumn, sidebar and footer model to create this page.  http://www.gillwykes.com/development/frank_test/template_test.html

  I created the flyout on a different page, and it worked fine.  But for some reason any when I copy and past in the page template, the submenus disappear when I hover over them.  Have I forgotten to copy a full piece of code, or have I missed something?

• Question about editing a Dreamweaver template

  and have blurred by editing it and went 'ok' according to my criteria.

  Pending a question I have is how to something 'UNDER' my left navigation bar.

  to put this button under the links for navigation but not just with them.  I tried to do a crash course on the float, clear, etc... but

  I am rustic most qualified to answer this question, but I'll have a go at it. First of all, I admire your ambition!

  Dreamweaver is a great tool, but it will not necessarily learn you webdesign. Once you have an idea base of what happens in a website design, you'll really enjoy what DreamWeaver can do for you. I'll give you the same advice I was given when I wanted to first get into DreamWeaver and web design.

  I would really suggest some basic HTML and CSS books and use a text editor to create your first pages. Once you start to undersatnd that you do, then by all means, get a DreamWeaver training. Everyone has their own favourite titles to learn the basics, so I'll just say this is a suggestion and has helped me to start. The first head of series has been clearly written, has a good sense of humor, and helped me to get the basics. Check your libraries, shops of second hand books or other resale stores. I know you mentioned the Adobe online, but I have also used and as, Adobe Classroom in a Book series. Once I learned a particular version, I found the Missing Manual good for cutting-edge issues series and going to a new version.

  Don't be discouraged, stick with it and don't be afarid to try another book, if you don't like what I suggested. We all learn differently and what has worked for me may not work for you!
