  I'm working on a project were I am importing to Dreamweaver html code. I just do all of my changes in Dreamweaver and then re-import the file.

  You can make changes in the file inside Muse. Just right click on your imported html file and select "edit HTML" in the menu list.

  It will bring to the top of the dialog box where you can change the text/code

• Invisible tables in Dreamweaver CS3

  Hello - I have a problem with access to the appropriate table in Dreamweaver CS3. In the past that I've never had a problem with that now all of a sudden I can't figure out what I did to change this setting. I want my tables without borders, that I've accomplished by assigning null border... but now it completely disappears from the page so I'm working on it and I have nothing to set my table. In the past when working with zero borders it would define the structure of the table but didn't appear not when published on the web. I went in view / visual aids / and checked the table borders and still nothing. How can I check my table limits while working without a border? Years, I have had no problem with that and now I'm really confused as to what I did to change the setting. Please, if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

  Even with a black background, you should be able to see lines dotted around a table.

  I just tested with a black background with Visual AIDS > table borders turned on could see the outline and then borders , then Icertainly could not something :-)

  Looks like something is broken in DW If DW starts acting a little weird - it frequently means that you can have a personal configuration file corrupt.

  Close Dreamweaver, search the personal configuration file and rename it.

  When you restart Dreamweaver, it should create a new folder of configuration with all the default values of program.

  Hi guys,.

  Having trouble setting up a table in Dreamweaver and I know I should have enough knowledge to sort, but my brain went on vacation, I could ask here thought, I hope someone can enlighten us. OK, let's go.

  I have, on my site, a section for my Blogs. I have 3 Blogs and make them sit nicely in a table of 3 column width and just keep adding lines if necessary.

  Now, the problem I have is when I type the text in 1 cell of table (column), everything is ok. Problem is when I type the entries in the 2nd table cell (column), the text won't start from the top of the cell, it starts adjacent to the typing where ended in the 1st cell. The same thing happens also to the text in the cell 3 (column).

  I know Dreamweaver table facilities to have a fool proof system, looks like Im the fool who has yet to prooofed... lol

  Andy,

  Place your cursor in the cell of the table and through the property inspector, set the vertical alignmen UPSTAIRS.

  That will move all content to the top of the cell ;-)

  Optionally, seek to eliminate all line styles and place them in a style sheet, it will keep your codes nice and clean and make it easier change of styles of the element if you want to change styles on different elements, for example: borders, background color etc..,.

  also, you can watch using a doctype - for the moment that the page does not use one, it sends the page in quirks mode and can make unexpectedly in different browsers.

• SQL type unrecognized: 'unsigned int' when I expand a table in Dreamweaver

  Dreamweaver warning message - "unrecognized sql type: 'int unsigned.
  
  This was happening in Dreamweaver MX and now in CS3. Pages using these tables are not to throw errors when I test them, but whenever I have to expand a table in Dreamweaver, I get these warning messages. Often, I get the same message several times and have to click OK every time before I can move forward. I had earlier OK the warning three times for a table that has a field of type integer and the two fields in total.

  I can't speak for everyone, but I have looked into the using integers as primary keys DW start hiccupping on them.

• table simple padding with html and dreamweaver question

  I haven't used DW for awhile, excuse my beginner question. I created a table with 2 rows and 1 column in HTML. I inserted an image in the top line and an image on the bottom row. With border, Central and spacing between cells set to 0, I can't understand why I see padding/spacing of pixels at the bottom of each cell. I changed the background color of the cells in the red table so that its easy to show the padding. Change the vertical alignment to the cells does not change the issue. I've not created page CSS to do this. From what I remember from my previous experience with DW padding and spacing was quite simple when you create a table of basic HTML, so don't know where I am going wrong.   No, it isn't. You post a transaction, not a table...
  So if you have handled several tables in your transaction, you agree to be all these changes (via the command commit), or any of them (via restore).

  If your dml trigger manipulate data (a very bad practice by the way), then they just add to all of the changes made to the breast of your transaction, you (as mentioned above), either commit all or none.

• Question vertical alignment of the contents of table in Dreamweaver cs4

  I can't understand it. I did a sample file (code below) to debug my problem.

  I have a table within a table. Both have no fill of cell or alignment, spacing and albums, yet, the text appears at the top but there is a gap between the top of the cell and the text. Someone had this problem? Even when I place an image in the table, although the pictute is X 100px, 100px and table size the same, here again it is a gab between the picture and the top of the table?

  I am relatively new to dreamworks and I saw the easiest way so far is the use of tables to make your layouts, I wonder if there is a way where you can insert text on (in front of) an image that fits into a table?

  Easy and best are not synonymous.  The best way to create modern web pages is no tables with CSS layouts.   If someone told you of tables are better, they are ill-informed, out-of-touch and/or you are looking at a tutorial very old.

  Getting back to your original question, put your image in the background with the CSS code.

  If you are not familiar with HTML and CSS code, you will need to do some homework first.  He had to learn to get the most out of Dreamweaver.

  Now I want to do is have action.php store data entered in Form.php so that someone could link directly to action.php and see what the end user concluded Form.php. Now, if you go directly to a non action.php caching it does nothing for the return of name and age. How can I get this data stick? If in fact, it is not a simple question, can you point me to a tutorial? Thank you!

  Whenever you have a problem, please post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements), so that people who want to help you can recreate the problem and test their ideas.

  Also post the exact results you want from this data, as well as an explanation of how you get these results from these data, with specific examples.

  If you ask yourself on a DML statement, such as UPDATE, then the CREATE TABLE and you post instructions INSERT must re - create the tables as they are to the DML, and the results will be the content of the or a modified tables when it's all over.

  Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

  If you want to include single quotes inside a string literal, use either 2 single quotes inside literal, like this:

  Select "update lookup_Nationalities set NAME =" Philippinien "where NAME =' |" NAME

  of lookup_nationalities;

  or use Q-rating:

  Select Q '{update lookup_Nationalities set NAME = 'Philippinien' where NAME =}' | NAME

  of lookup_nationalities;

  Whatever it is, you don't want anything like ' | ' at the end, after the «;»

  Be careful: I bet that you do not want the output to be something like

  set lookup_Nationalities set NAME = 'Philippinien' where NAME = Sverige

  I suspect you want single-quota around Sverige, too.

  How good are you with front end and back end coding?   Creating an application from scratch requires excellent coding skills and a good knowledge of databases, security, e-commerce, etc...

  Everything on your wish list can be done in Dreamweaver, but you must have the necessary coding skills & experience for all meet.   If it were my project, I think I would stick with Joomla.
