  You can use http://www.helpexamples.com/test when exporting site. Where to download the site on your server, create a folder with the name of Test and download the site in that folder.

• I support a very large school district running Firefox 3.6. What will happen at the end of life date? In the online environment, we test this week.

  I run the test center for a very large school district with over 120 students of k. We have a current deployed at base of 54 client machines of k using Firefox 3.6. We have not upgraded for many reasons, of which the most important is to remove the possibility of use in navigation private students and dealing with plugin-updates for the digital non-born (read dumber than a bag of hammers users) that make up the majority of the customer base.

  We test ESR now, but only discovered this end of life for 3.6 is tomorrow, 4/24. We are currently in the middle of the scale of the State of online tests. The question is, what will happen tomorrow, when the browser will end of life. ESR wiki mentions that "an update to the current version of Firefox Desktop will be available through the Update Service Application"

  So the main question is, are my students/teachers goes to get a popup telling them that they have updated the browser if we have already turned off updates? If so, can I I disable remote using SCCM, because there will be all sorts of havoc.

  When I cancel the ChooseFile dialogue, I want to shoot the GetTheFile function. However, I have not found the appropriate for this test.

  My boot drive is full, once again... looked for alternatives and have found the same ones that have always been here, then I'm a little crazy. I know you guys are trying to help, but it is a fundamental problem that is unnecessarily difficult to solve. • I hear an error when you try to take a screenshot

  This site may have remapped the keys so that you couldn't take screenshots and shared the information with others.

  Check system--> keyboard-shortcuts-> screenshots > preferences to ensure that key combination is selected.

  

• I need recent research - iPad in education

  I've been running an Academy of iPad BYOD of 100-700 students for 4 years in a school SMEs (~ 3000 students) where students have between 2 to 5 classes that incorporate the iPad. I teach 6 classes of biology iPad and, in addition to the physical tests (the answers lie on the iPad), I spend zero paper; everything is on the iPad. From 2 years our district has been all Google; invest millions in Chromebooks and pushing classroom Google, Google Suite, etc harder they did anything in technology ever. The chromebooks response of our neighborhood for all the online tests, requiring that all children to have access to a computer with a keyboard. Some of my colleagues iPad teachers have been splitting time with (teachers of English for the most part) between the Chromebooks and iPads. They have all kinds of reasons for Google Docs not being friendly iPad - getting better though - the 'need' for a student to use a physical keyboard. Some may leave the ship year next because of this.

  Anyway, most of the studies I've seen at least two years and we all know that 2 years in this world of tech is an incredible amount of time.

  I need help. I already have reason to stick with the iPad annotate, drawing, all voice features, ease of use, etc., but need real research which hopefully shows that students who use the native iPad keyboard can produce the same quality of work than those who use a keyboard full size can produce. Indeed, I had one of my English teachers main tell children "work on Chromebooks with a physical keyboard is just better." Incidentally, I'm sure she has some experience with the quality of the work that is put in, but being a science teacher, I prefer a little more evidence. Because it's a BYOD program we cannot require students to buy an external keyboard, even if they can be inexpensive, and I don't think that's the answer.

  Some of the teachers we have on Board sought from the beginning and they create content and curriculum specific to the iPad which cannot be done on a Chromebook, but others are reluctant. I need to keep the team together and remind them why we use iPad, how much better it is than others material, and if you have any current research that shows none of this I would really appreciate it.

  Well, if your school is decision-making based on typing speed, you should get the ipad without a keyboard, separated for primary school students!

  I don't know that a keyboard is a problem for students.  It's us "old" people who think that we need a keyboard.   You'll probably have to write an autohotkey script to remove the link F1 to F12.

  Brightness and volume probably cannot be disabled because they reached a level relatively low. Other shortcut keys can probably be rebound:

• Install Yosemite along side El captain

  My friend has a Macbook Pro of the retina not and currently El captain has installed. Her school then to use called LockDown browser software preventing him from cheating on quizzes online, test etc. He however; is incompatible with El Capitan, so she has to downshift. My question is, is it possible to repartition the drive and install a version of OS lower alongside El Captain like Yosemite? or should I just go the traditional manual way and wipe everything and do a fresh install of Yosemite. My reason for wanting to do it is because it has a 500 GB drive which is almost full, so it would be easier to have to back up your files, I can leave this partition in tact and whenever it requires the software of her school she may just start in Yosemite.

  Hello, I recently bought and installed an upgrade of DDR3 4 GB memory for my Pavilion Sleekbook 15-B142DX. It is PNY PC3-10666, chip of 4GB which says it's compatible with 1333 MHz and 1066 MHz I booted the laptop after the installation of the new chip, but reports still 4 GB of physical memory, msinfo and other online tests. Yet once, I opened the computer suspect that the chip was not fully connected. While there, I pass the tasks of the 1st round and the new stick. The computer registers yet only 4 GB of physical memory. Did I buy an incompatible chip or it's probably another problem?

  I received a HP technical support solution. The chipset you recommended works very well (thanks again). Here is the solution, in case anyone has the same problem with this model:

  (1) I removed the new chipset

  (2) I started the computer and went to menu BIOS setup > Boot Options > Secure Boot (those may not be the exact names)

  (3) switched start safe for people with reduced mobility.

  (4) reinstalled the new chipset

  (5) on the machine

  (6) checked to make sure that the computer record 8 GB

  (7) turned Secure Boot on

  Ensure that the computer has saved 8 GB 8) Made

• Cisco Linksys E4200 v2 fails to process UPNP requests

  Bought a new router E4200 v2 version last month and replaced my dlink dir-655 and I started to see the alerts on my server at home that it is impossible to configure the router.

  Already checked on the router that UPNP is enabled. already tried disabling the firewall, ipv4 and ipv6 and turning too wide "filter applications anonymous Internet", but does not

  Now, it seems that my router is bad or cisco/linksys does not support this API and is not compatible.

  * Firewall can block almost all of the ports used by P2P clients. Check if the BitTorrent ports are made available to customers requesting. Disable the firewall of the router and enable uPnP features allow the BitTorrent ports to pass through.

  * As E4200 is a new Cisco router usually have a good level of security, and unless you have a good configuration configured on the router it can block the software work that uses UPNP.

  * If the ISP updates for IPV6 nodes still functionality for IPV4 will exist as the Lauch of IPV6 also depends on the hardware compatibility

  So, once reset the router for Hard Reset 30/30/30

  The following procedure will clear the NVRAM and set the router back to the default values:

  With the power on, press and hold the reset button the back of the unit for 30 seconds
  Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds
  Plug in the appliance ALWAYS keeping the reset button a final 30 seconds...

  Then reconfigure the router once more and then check the concern...

• Error opening Windows Firewall: 0 x 80070005 access denied

  I have Windows Vista Ultimate Service Pack 1 installed on my computer. When I opened a Bittorrent client, I receive the following error message

  "Error opening Windows Firewall: 0 x 80070005 access denied."

  I've added exception for a specific port 24366 (used by the BT client) on the Windows Firewall, to receive incoming connections. However my port (http://www.utorrent.com/testport?port=xxxxx) and the test of telnet to the port, seem to fail. The port online test gives the following error

  "Year error has occurred!
  " Port 24366 does not seem to be open."

  This looks like a problem with the Windows Firewall. Any ideas on how I could get this problem resolved?

  Thank you Rob for the various ideas. I finally got this working! Not sure if this is a Vista problem or just my computer, but when I opened the customer of BT using 'RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR', it started working.

  I hope this helps others out there of similar problems. It's a two-step process,

  1. make sure that the port of the torrent is open in Windows Firewall
  2. open the customer of BT using 'RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR'

  NOTE: I am already connected with an administrator account.
