Drive hard breaks down again replaced twice.

My macbook 15 "always crashes after the hard drive replaced twice. Interestingly, the crash is identical to the type of collision before it was replaced. Everything should work fine then the screen goes black and a white screen with a small police saying the computer has encountered a problem and is set to zero. After all this recharges a window pop up titled "Problem report for OS X" saying my computer restarted because of a problem with a huge list of details of the details of the problem and the system configuration (I can stick below if someone can help me solve this problem). It should be noted that sometimes the fan will work abnormally hard sometimes. She sometimes coincides with the crash and sometimes not. There is no decipherable pattern in this area. My DVD player is also not working. I have run the disc several times utilities in all possible scenarios without result and are running out of ideas.

Here is a list of possible scenarios, I thought, but would like feedback and help with new suggestions or assistance.

(not in any intentional order of importance or probability)

1. There is a virus.

2. the DVD player is somehow originally the crashed hard drive.

3. a previous operating system incompatible program is causing system to block (not likely because the accident happened until I upgraded the OS and has continued thereafter)

  • Drive hard breaks down small Test DST

My laptop started to freeze all of a sudden when you use it, so I ran a diagnostic system check. Everything going but the short DST Test, which gave me the following default ID: Q0FE6M-6RV794-XD7WWK-60WU03

I proceeded to run chkdsk/r, followed by a complete reset, and my PC seems to be working very well now. The only problem is that when I ran again the diagnostic system, he always says that the DST short Test failed with the same ID of failure. Does this mean that my hard drive will die later? Or the error code mean something else?

    Hello

Yes the failure of hard drive what ID done refers to the hard drive Quick Test 1 failure. You need to replace the HARD drive and reinstall the operating system on the unit.

  • Replace drive hard internal down

I need to buy a new hard drive for my Dimension 9150.  Details only I have on the initial order of Dell, is that the original drive was a disk of 250 GB, 7200 RPM SATA.  I think I discovered today that I need to make sure that no matter which drive I buy is a 3.5 "physically, it fits but I was wondering if this is all the info I need to make sure that my new drive is compatible.

I was wondering if there are more suited to the game discs and I think that this may have contributed to the failure because I only had PC for 2.1/2 years.

Ideally I'd like one with a period of warranty this time.  Have a Dell price but I would like to go around if possible, since there seems to be a lot out there.

  • Prevent Seagate hard drive possible breaks down!

If your computer was purchased in 2008 and early 2009 and provided with a Seagate hard drive, you should read the next document in support of HP:

Prevent disk errors not system on computers with Seagate drives

Basically, under certain conditions the firmware of the drive can fail. It may work well for some time, but then crash later because certain conditions arise on the PC.

To avoid a possible crash, download and install SP40966 from HP.

Once opened, it will tell you if a player needs updating.

If you have a player who needs the updated firmware, it will prompt for a blank disc.

He then burns a disc that you leave in the drive and restart.

It updates the firmware automatically. On some PCs/versions, you will have to perhaps enter and change SATA to IDE in the BIOS - I have not. I used the update on an IQ506 and the update went well.

My problem has been resolved. I downloaded the update yesterday and installed without any problems. The closure of the issue.

  • My drive hard g62 crashed, I replaced the hard drive and installed windows, but it will not verify as authentic.

The product key on my laptop does not work when I try to verify that it is authentic?

Did you install the same version of Windows that came on the phone, as in Windows 7 Home Premium (it is the most common version that I see on the portable class of consumers). The key works only for the original version.

  • What happens if my external drive "working files" breaks down?

I use two external drives to save and back up my files.  The files organized, edited the reader of 'work'.  If the drive working breaks down, how can I restore it from the player of "backup" that contains just the original, unmodified, the files placed in folders by date of importation?  I realize that catalogue contains all the changes, but how to return to the Organization?  Anyone using a Raid 1 configuration for two disks mirrored?

Maybe I don't make myself clear. How to take the 'back-up' disc, containing original photos not published, ordered by date of import and convert the disc format 'work' catalogue in the LR4 will recognize?

It's great that you think about it now, instead of this disaster.  Play well!

The "second copy" option in the dialog box import is ideal for temporary backup, while the pictures in your main backup system, but it is a nightmare to restore from.  There are options to rearrange disaster, but it is better to avoid.

Rather than RAID1, I would suggest looking at backup synchronization software or a file - I love Vice Versa on Windows or Chronosync on Mac - to keep a copy in the mirror of the work unit.  If you use RAID1 and photo gets deleted or damaged, it is immediately deleted/damaged on the second disk RAID, while the file backup/synchronization software would go less often, giving you a chance to recover it.  Many also offer one option 'archive' for deleted photos, moving them to another folder.

Have installed Photoshop CS4. Replaced the drive hard and now I get error code 150:30. What should I do to get it working again

Migration of CS4 breaks the license. That's what 150:30 means. Assuming you are using a Mac.

You can use the Terminal method to repair the license... but I stress that carefully read you and understand the instructions here before you run it. beginning

  • Do I have to buy a new license if my hard drive breaks down?

I recently bought an upgrade from vista to windows7. I have everything backed up before upgrading, but couldn't do it once the upgrade is complete. About 3 days after I installed upgrading of primary and secondary hard drives both failed... Obviously, portable hard drive do not last as long as computers desktop and 5 years is a long life of your laptop, or so I thought. in any case, I have two new 750 GB momentus xt hybrid SSD of HD and I'm ready to rock but no OS because the key does not work since is not attached to the HD crashed. Any ideas? Please help, I am already tired of using my laptop to marry; his old and say that it is the turtle, and not the rabbit would be cruel to the turtle.

Like you bought an 'upgrade' I presume that you have actually installed as such on your failed HARD drive now.

With a new drive HARD vacuum, you have no earlier version of the OS (Vista) for the drive of W7 upgrade to recognize.

    This may be a workaround,

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/31402-clean-install-upgrade-Windows-7-version.html

or if it does not work you can try this method of double installation Vista, which is a valid path to a clean install.

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/68767-clean-install-upgrade-Vista.html

If it will not always turn on then you are going to have to plead your case to MS via the telephone support option.

It is up to you to ensure that your license is valid and that you do not violate the EULA

  • Power supply drive hard 320 is death - where to find replacement?

    Hello

The power supply for my 320 GB external hard drive (PX1223E - 1 32) that I bought a year ago died. I'm a little annoyed that the player has been barely used and only just out of storage after a move of the House!

Can anyone help to track down a replacement to the United Kingdom? It's the brand Dura Micro Inc. AC adapter 100-240V 1. 2 a + 12V 1. 2 a + 5V 2A and the PDC resembles a connector 4-pin type 'DIN' of power.

Does anyone have a contact email address for Customer service/returns under UK that it is possible to replace it under warranty.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mark

    Hello

    What s about your dealer?
In your case I would contact the retailer where you bought this part and if your warranty is valid, you should get a replacement unit or unit must be sent for repair.

  • Replace drive HARD system with Samsung EVO SSD 1 TB of HP ENVY 17 - j005tx laptop computer

    Hi all

Wanting just a few tips on how to migrate and replace the system drive without having to reinstall everything again.

The Migration of Samsung tool work?  When I check my HDD in the laptop there 5 partitions...

The HARD drive, I would like to replace a the following Partitions:

    400 MB (Recover Parition)

    260MO (EFI Partition)

    904 GB (drive c :) - NTFS)

    350 MB (recover Partition)

25.5 GB (drive D: Recover - NTFS drive)

According to the Samsung User Guide data Migration tool, he mentions the following:

    http://www.Samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/MZ-7TE1T0BW

6 recovery OEM partitions, at the plant by computer makers, cannot be replicated. However, if the PC is manufactured by Samsung and SRS (Samsung Recovery Solution) 5 or 6 is installed, the recovery partition is automatically cloned. (Not supported in versions prior to SRS 5)

How can I migrate all recovery OEM as well as partitions C: and D: partitions?

If you burn the recovery DVD, you don't need the recovery partition... they hold the same data. I try the clone on the new drive and see if it works. If it isn't then you still have the original drive and nothing has been lost. Reported problems with the migration of Samsung software. Personally, I use Acronis True Image Home for cloning, and it is not.

  • Why can't replace my drive hard hp compaq 6200SFF 250gig with the largest disk

I think I posted this in the wrong section earlier.   I want to replace my drive hard HP Compaq 6200SFF with a larger 250gig. I've done it before with other computers with no problems. I bought a 500gig drive at a local store and makes a picture of Symantec Ghost (option was image-boot) to my 250gig drive.    Then I installed the drive and started again with my ghost drive.  Normally I just launch the function of disk image restore to restore the image of the old drive to the new drive.  When I tried to do with the 6200, very well restored ghost image but as soon as I start on the new drive, I get an error message saying that "windows does not stop normally.   I never get to see the Windows Startup logo and welcome screen or something else than this black screen with white letters.  Windows did end normally when I was last using the 250 GB drive and it will power off.  I can't get the restart to go further - I just get the same error screen - there is no options or choice - all said the message is to call your service representative.  Is there something special about 6200 readers?  Do you need to do something instead of or in addition to making a ghost image?  Is it something in the bios that should reset itself?

Thank you, Hanspuppa.  I think you have a more recent version of Acronis, I ghost.  However, I was able to solve my problem using the Windows repair disk.  I ghost a disk image (ghost - ib) of my drive hard old man and then did a ' local disk image - of ' put the image on my new drive.  I received the repetitive message "Windows 7 does not normally" but then inserted the windows repair disk and booted from it.  He finds that the boot image on the new drive was bad and repaired.  He did not cela easily - reboot/turn off many times before the finished repair disk, I had and the pc booted from the new hard drive properly.  Now, I can do this with windows 7 and the emulation of hard drive has been to AHCI.  Knit a friend and I tried to do this on an another HP6200 with an image of Windows XP. We did not have a handy XP repair disk, but we went in the settings of the bios under storage on disk and passed the SATA AHCI to IDE emulation.  When we restarted Windows message here once, we supported on enter and him went pc to boot normally.  So the problem revolved around the difference in the AHCI IDE and the boot image created by Ghost.

do I have to remove the keyboard?
    wath is the GB limit

    Hi Theo,.

HARD drive is mounted on your machine fest, and it is not easy to change. First you have to remove the keyboard, then view and top of page coverage too. If you want to do it yourself, be careful. If you do something wrong, it can be very expensive.

It is not easy to say which is the limit of the HARD drive, but I'm sure you can use 10 GB with no problems. Try to contact the after-sales Service of Toshiba partner. Perhaps, they can give you specific information.
