Hi, my RIM Composite Device driver does not work correctly. He said: "this device cannot start. (Code 10). "What does that mean?  I tried to reinstall the driver but it still won't work.  Help, please

The Code 10 error code is generated when the Device Manager has not enough information or error that spread upwards by device drivers is not recognized by Device Manager. In addition, this error may occur if one of the pilots who needs the unit does not start.

You can try the following steps and check if it helps.

    The driver that you downloaded is a zip package.
    Unzip everything first.
    Then you will see a single .exe file in the unzipped folder.
    This exe file is also a package.
    Therefore, unzip the .exe file too.
    Right click on the exe file and select unpack here
    Now, you will have access to the files together. Now choose Setup.exe or Install.exe

    It is not easy to find the drivers but I found one in the U.S. Toshiba download page. This is the model of laptop similar but with the same graphics inside.

    I put t know if this will help but check it out here.

    Choose Win8 (64-bit) and the display driver, so you should find it there.

  • Applications for blackBerry Smartphones only works on WiFi

    I downloaded some apps on the store on my Bold 9700 (Twitter, Facebook, opera mini, etc) and have no problem as long as I am in WiFi range. Once apart from that I can't use them without getting a message on them being a WiFi service and check the connection.

    My preference of the browser is set to "Hotspot browser", but even when I change it to 3G I still get the same message. None of the applications seem to have preferences of browser so I don't know how I can work around the problem.

    Does anyone know of a settings page somewhere is going to fix this?

    Thanks for the tips. I tried all 3 suggestions with WiFi off and it seems to have worked on all applications outside of Twitter (weird). Opera mini works now, so too does facebook. Twitter updates to watch but will not open links (read the message "this is a wi - fi service, check the connection"). I'm not a big user of Twitter, so no biggie on that one.

    Just out of curiosity, is there a way to tell what link you are when you use an application? What navigation normally the connection method shows up right but if I use Opera mini, for example, is not.

    By your post, I see that you need drivers for your Photosmart 100 printer. I can help you.

    I checked online, and unfortunately there is no driver available for Windows 7.

    But you could install a generic driver that should work.

    On the computer, go to start, devices and printers, select Add a printer.

    Follow the steps, select HP and Deskjet 9800, Deskjet 450 or the Deskjet 990, from the list. (even if you have a photosmart)
