I'm trying to resume the download and the same thing happens each and every time.

  Sarah - I dsl which is at the lower end of DSL speed and I can tell you that I sometimes have problems download from the HP site.  The HP software is quite 'bulky' and/or 'intense' (I have no other way to describe it).  If it gets interrupted it usually leaves.  My guess is that it's your connection mobile broadband is not not a connection permanently at times causing the interruption.  If you have no regular internet type, try to go to a mobile hotspot that is free in a city near you or a store that offers for free (Panera, McDonalds, Starbucks, etc.) and download the file from there.  Make sure your firewall is active and security to prevent unauthorized entry into your computer during download.

  You can also download the stand-alone update from the Microsoft update catalog to another PC and copy to that you have the printer using a usb flash drive or you burn on a CD.

  Sorry to repeat but "it does not receive a printing sent from Word, Corel, Adobe PDF file and a pgm of the photo ' is not a description of what happens. I need to be transcribed verbatim, if there are error messages.

  Things to check...

  1. can you do a test print Windows OK?

  • In Control Panel, open Printers and faxes.
  • Right-click your printer, and then click Properties.
  • Click the print a Test Page.
  • A test page is generated?

  2. as result of the above, check the print queue

  • In printers and faxes open your print queue waiting by the double (or simple?) by clicking on your printer.
  • Jobs shows that in the print queue?
  • If there are jobs showing, click the dropdown to printer, is to suspend printing or use printer offline checked? Uncheck them if they are checked.
  • Starts print?

  3. check the status of LPT port device

  • Open Device Manager - click on start, run, type devmgmt.msc and then on enter.
  • If necessary, expand Ports (Com & LPT) by clicking on + parallel port appears with a typical question? If this is the case, right click and click on uninstall.
  • Restart the computer, wait for the device to be re-installed. Check in the Device Manager again, and if the Port is not OK try printing again.

  I managed to find the solution... it is a lot harder than I imagined composed I don't remember clearly how I found it.  But I think it's what you do... Use the control panel to get to the devices and printers, right-click for properties of the printer, then select device settings, then select installed in the duplex unit.  Yes... complicated.  How the average dumb guy like me never to solve such a problem?

After that I installed the latest driver for HP Color LaserJet CM2320nf MFP, my network is not initialize 2 to 5 minuets and the PC won't start any programs until it does. The printer works very well after starting my network it's just frustrating to have to wait this long. I have the printer plugged into my Intellinet router and the printer set to DHCP for IP setting. I asked HP about this problem and they can't help me because it is a software problem and not hardware related

  Edit: I have a program of snooper network called Netscan indicates the printer working group is "WORKGROUP" and my working group is "MSHOME". This would cause problems? I can't find a way to change the workgroup printers.

  Add a printer

  Add a local printer

  Select create a new port:

  Select Local Port for the port Type:

  Enter the name of the network to the XP computer that is. \\XPcomputername\LJprinterid

  Install the LaserJet 1020 driver when prompted

  You don't need any CD. Go to the HP Support and drivers website,
  and search for your printer. Find the appropriate driver for your version of
  Windows, download it, install it and follow the prompts.
