  I just installed windows 7 on a Hp 6653 CL. The operating system seems to work very well, but there are 2 drivers in the Device Manager screen which I seem not to be able to identify. the hardware for the devices ID are:

  Well, you can try to use the add hardware to search for device.
  But I found another option. Here the instruction how to find unknown device:

  1. click on start-> Accessories-> tools system-> and start the program "information system".
  2. open the "components" tab, then "problem devices".
  3. here you can find the device (e.g., ACPI\SMCF030\..) PNP ID
  4. If you have a recovery CD, put it in your CD/DVD drive. New Toshiba laptops do not have a recovery CD,
  drivers are on the HARD drive in the directory "c:\tools.
  5. now, open the Windows Search (start-> Search) and search for the central part of the above device PNP ID
  (for example, SMCF030) on the directory of the recovery CD, or "c:\tools.
