DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
Every day, during the ten days, I got a blue screen DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE message. It appears randomly on my newly purchased HP 6930P. I have Vista 32 bit Business Edition. Applications that are running at the time of the error message may include one or a combination of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe 9.0, MS Explorer, Firefox. The screen may appear when I'm typing (that is to say, preparation of Word document or write an e-mail) or when I type not (read a document,...). I reloaded Vista but the problem persists.
HP helped by running the disk analysis hard and reading some forums online, it seems that the problem is with Vista. The most appreciated assistance.
Thanks Martin. I arrived subsequently supported HP who checked my files "minidump" and suggested that the problem was related to the absence of "chicony webcam driver. I installed the driver and crossed my fingers that the problem continues.
Alex.

Server 2008 R2 DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) Usbhub.sys
Hi, we have problems with a Dell PowerEdge T110 Tower Server that is blue screening every time it reboots to install Windows updates.
The mini dumps that reveal all the usbhub.sys driver to be at fault. We tried a lot of solutions for this problem, but have run out of ideas. The latest patch, we tried was to remove the usbhub.sys driver and reinstall. This stopped the blue screens for 2 months, but this morning the question referred.
Crash Analyzer provides the following information.
"Crash code: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f).

IM in SafeMode right now so this type because normal mode for some reason, I'm very slow and some programs just hanging out or will not open, I would like a link this problem to the recent BSOD.In any case, I decided to Skydrive my dump files in the hope of getting an answer from someone more intelligence tech to help me with my current problem of why my computer is extremely slow/laggy and unresponsive at times.
I set myself, I had to rename the nvlddmkm.sys in the system32/drivers nvlddmkm.sys.old and let it update automatically on reboot and then I downloaded the new beta drivers and all is well.

At random intervals (and I mean, it may happen by week or 1This 2This every 2 months) I get a blue screen. I said "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" and made a dump. It doesn't happen ever if I'm doing something important, like writing a paper for school or by downloading a video for a class online.
So far, I have:

- New Windows Vista installation with all updates for the OS and programs
- Installed on another hard drive with all the updates to the OS and core programs

Check with the manufacturer of system or component for the updated drivers. If none are available, remove or turn off the unit and check the behavior. Contact the manufacturer / system device to make them aware of the problem so that they can hopefully fix in a future update.

Driver_Power_State_Failure BSoD and ndis.sys
I know there are many of these failures BSOD posted, but I can't seem to find a solution. BlueScreenView said that this Driver_Power_State_Failure is associated with ndis.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. I put the dump herefile. Any thoughts would be great. I got this crash (twice now) on a computer for deployment on the ground at the edge of a river and is connected to a camera that records continuous underwater video. The videos are written on an external hard drive, and I am on Windows 7. The crash occurred several hours after the start of recordings (15-20 h). A program I use breaks images into files of 3 hours. Thank you.

Windows 7 blue screen DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE ntoskrnl.exe
Hi community
I'm having a problem with my installation of Windows 7. When I try to shut down my pc, it still shows the blue screen with the message "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I did research on the internet and discovered that this blue screen is above all connected to a driver problem. Then I updated some drivers at random, but it has not solved the problem for me.
