DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Every day, during the ten days, I got a blue screen DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE message.  It appears randomly on my newly purchased HP 6930P.  I have Vista 32 bit Business Edition.  Applications that are running at the time of the error message may include one or a combination of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe 9.0, MS Explorer, Firefox.  The screen may appear when I'm typing (that is to say, preparation of Word document or write an e-mail) or when I type not (read a document,...).  I reloaded Vista but the problem persists.

HP helped by running the disk analysis hard and reading some forums online, it seems that the problem is with Vista.  The most appreciated assistance.

Thanks Martin.  I arrived subsequently supported HP who checked my files "minidump" and suggested that the problem was related to the absence of "chicony webcam driver.  I installed the driver and crossed my fingers that the problem continues.

Hi, we have problems with a Dell PowerEdge T110 Tower Server that is blue screening every time it reboots to install Windows updates.

The mini dumps that reveal all the usbhub.sys driver to be at fault.  We tried a lot of solutions for this problem, but have run out of ideas.  The latest patch, we tried was to remove the usbhub.sys driver and reinstall. This stopped the blue screens for 2 months, but this morning the question referred.

Crash Analyzer provides the following information.

    "Crash code: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f).

We have confirmed that the BIOS is the most recent version and that there are no devices connected to the front USB ports and back on the server.

Whenever I try to play a game, my computer hangs and goes the BSOD, DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, fifteen minutes by playing 'Minecraft', I don't know how to solve this problem. I have the files of dump, according to me, if that would help. I'm not completely sure how to access it.

Can someone help me solve this problem?

Well it is possible but just not very likely.

Since it is a laptop, I think the main problem of the lack of power in

  • Crashed. Problem starting. Now driver_power_state_failure.

I need help.  My laptop crashed.  Then had trouble commissioning.  I tried to do the recovery with the recovery of manufacturing disk.

Now we are getting an error that says "driver_power_state_failure.  Then the shutdown of a disc.

How can I fix it?  Is - fixable?

Laptop has been does not start and became also blue screen.  Decided to take service.  Turns out to be a page of hard drive.  Have replaced him.  I no longer need help with this question.  Thank you.

  • BSOD "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" (BlueScreenView said it was nvbridge.kmd)

I got a BSOD recently for the first time in years. I used a tool called 'BlueScreenView' to see what was going on with the dump file, the dump quite well said
    Mini113011 - 01.dmp 30/11/2011-05:16:03 DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE 0x0000009f 00000000 00000003' fffffa80 ' 09742060 fffffa80' 09742060 fffffa80'0440 has 680 nvBridge.kmd nvBridge.kmd + 58c5060 x 64 + C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini113011-01.dmp 2 15 6001 279 768 55410 ntoskrnl.exe
What should I do? BlueScreenView is useful? I found the "nvBridge.kmd" and removed as well as more experienced my NVIDIA drivers and reinstall the last a. IM in SafeMode right now so this type because normal mode for some reason, I'm very slow and some programs just hanging out or will not open, I would like a link this problem to the recent BSOD.
In any case, I decided to Skydrive my dump files in the hope of getting an answer from someone more intelligence tech to help me with my current problem of why my computer is extremely slow/laggy and unresponsive at times.

I set myself, I had to rename the nvlddmkm.sys in the system32/drivers nvlddmkm.sys.old and let it update automatically on reboot and then I downloaded the new beta drivers and all is well.

Check with the manufacturer of system or component for the updated drivers. If none are available, remove or turn off the unit and check the behavior.  Contact the manufacturer / system device to make them aware of the problem so that they can hopefully fix in a future update.

Usually, I see this in the event handler:

-Event 1014 name resolution for the name dns.msftncsi.com timed out after none of the servers configured DNS responded.

-Event 4001 WLAN auto configuration service has stopped successfully. (not really a problem, I read)

-Event 10002 Module WLAN Extensibility stopped. Path of the module: C:\Windows\system32\Rtlihvs.dll (solved by editing the registry)
