I wanr using 3940 as a printer #2 but impossible without drivers. Hate tpothrow on a good printer and ink!

Hope you send the driver file

Alex S.

I guess that the past dates removed. All listed Deskjets are all less than 1000. Most of them are LaserJet.

All I have to do is find the installion disc which I cannot find. Of course, I have the previous record at the old 3740.

I tried the function of update several times, but everything was the same.

I have a laptop with windows 8.1.   I could try that, but do me no good too use two PC.

Thank you!

I have windows XP(SP3) on my laptop and HP printer Deskjet 3940. The printer worked fine until now. Now the power light blinks on the printer. There is NO paper jam.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver from HP website. The printer showed ready in the control panel, but as soon as i try to print a document it shows offline and the power light starts blinking. I have cleared documents from the print queue.
I have tried using different USB ports but no success.
I have ensured that 'use printer offline" is unchecked.

  • Where are drivers Deskjet 810C?

    Hello

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 64-bit edition.  I am trying to connect to my (networked) Deskjet 810C but I can not find the drivers for it.  Said HP website the drivers are all available from Windows Update (for Windows XP 64-bit, Windows Vista 64-bit, etc) and does so not all of the links to download.  So I went online to the Microsoft Update Catalog and sought to 810C, but there is no relevant hits found for this channel.  Based on info from other messages in this forum, I also watched the catalogue for C 812 drivers but I only found for x 86 and IA64 architectures, none for x 64.  I tried the x 86 and IA64 those anyway, but they do not work.

Can someone point me directly and explicitly, I'm a-Morón-ly to where I can find some sort of useful for this printer driver?  Other people in the forum seem to obviously have their 810 C s up and running connected to Windows 7 (I mean, there is a patch for the driver I can't find and everything!), so what I'm doing wrong?

The Deskjet 812c printer driver is a good match for the Deskjet 810C. For a network printer that is shared from another computer follow these steps: on the Windows 7 machine go devices and printers folder, add a printer, a local printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Computername\Printername (use the name of the actual share of the computer and the printer), OK, and then click Windows Update and wait a few minutes as the list of drivers to update and then select the printer Deskjet from HP (Hewlett-Packard no) 812c.  For 64-bit systems, you will need to apply the patch from there after the installation of the printer before printing anything.

  • DeskJet 9670: DeskJet 9670 8.1 on windows.

I used the printer above on Windows XP for several years, having put in place of the drivers on the installation CD.

I bought a laptop running under Win8.1 last July and found that the native drivers would not install, but that he was advised to use the drivers for the DeskJet series 9800, which I managed to download on the HP Site, and these worked well enough.

A failure of the hard drive on the laptop, I now have to re - install the drivers DeskJet 9800, but find that they are now more available, or else the Online link is no longer working.

Where can I download the drivers (64-bit) of Win8.1 for the Deskjet 9800 series now? Or is there another recommended driver who will give me all the features (including A3 paper) for this printer? Not too worried if she is not 'certified' as long as it works and I can print on A3 and A4 paper.

    Thank you.

    Hello

The printer is not supported on Windows 8.1, a s you can find below, such an alternative driver is available for Windows 7:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03168175

Try following the steps below, except that in step 1, click Add printer, and then click "my printer is not listed" and choose a local port and follow the same steps.

Press the Windows Update button, leave it a few minutes and once the statements of list select HP in the link of the manufacturer and then select the Deskjet 9800 in the list of printers.

Please let me know of any problems,

  • Driver for HP deskjet 1180c on Windows 7 64 bit

Hello, I searched high and low for a way to get my HP printer deskjet 1180c running on my computer that I have Windows 7 64 - bit race. When I look at "Support and driver, I see that HP has released no driver for Windows 7 and I don't understand why." The printer is not old. It's very frustrating.

If anyone knows of some drivers out there, or if there is a work around, I can try I would greatly appreciate your suggestions because that what it is this printer is useless for me.

    Thank you very much.

    Jon

I suspect that the drivers Deskjet 1220C would work for the similar 1180c Deskjet.  Install the driver with "Add a printer", select the appropriate port and when the list appears, click Windows Update to refresh the list of available printers.  Select printer HP Deskjet 1220C in the list. (The picture shows 1120c, which would be the second choice if the Deskjet 1120c driver does not work.)

  • DeskJet 710C: HP Deskjet 710C does not work under Windows 10

As I moved to Windows 7, I had to connect the printer via a USB/LPT connector and issue the fix in this link http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Software-Drivers/Deskjet-710-720-810-820-1000-Series... so that it can work properly. It is printed without flaw during my use of Windows 7.

Then came an upgrade of Windows 10... And when installing my printer is not able to print more than any way, form or content.

Basically, the or crashes when I try to print something. EventLog exposes the following error (translated from English):

Application with the error name: spoolsv.exe, version: 10.0.10586.0, time stamp: 0x5632d53b

Name of the module with the error: HPVSCP50. DLL, version: 1.0.0.6, time stamp: 0x4431bcd4

    ExceptionCode: 0xc0000005

Checking this list http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04658195 shows that the printer is supposed to work.

Finding a few more people with similar problems and solving the issue by using another PC, I thought that Windows 10 not like USB/LPT connector I have on it. So I got a cheap printserver I plugged in the printer, and reconfigured Windows to use the printserver port to print. PrintServer works perfectly, but still the HPVSCP50. DLL crashes when you print something (even something basic like a Windows Test Page), close the process.

Tried to grab the drivers from Windows Update to make sure that I had the newest and still no go. HP website refers to Windows 10 drivers by Microsoft than those needed to be used, but this driver crashes. So I guess it might be a flaw in Microsoft Windows 10 provides driver.

Anyone have an idea how I can get Windows 10 just talking to my old and trusty printer? Because I still have the printer toner, and I know the printer is still operational to 100%, I think it should work, also because it is listed as a printer to work for Windows 10.

Sorry, but I would like to buy a new printer.

  • Applications and the computer cannot find HP Deskjet 4180 printer

Recently upgraded to Windows 8 XP (32 bit).  Downloaded the driver from the HP website for the HP Deskjet 4180 printer and installed it.  Open a document and select print as well as the application cannot find the printer.  The computer does not recognize a printer connected (via USB cable - no network connection).

Then I downloaded the installation wizard and he can identify the HP devices connected via USB and has chosen the correct software to download and install.  He identified the aircraft and said the basic software that it is installed and recommended that I have the full software.  I did this, which involves downloading a file of 291MB and it works. Eventually return to the same point in the installation wizard and most recognized once the device but the claims only the basic software is installed - followed the instructions on-screen, downloaded 291MB file and the wizard could have do me it again for a 3rd time!  Printer is still not not regonised when I try to print.

    The pilot actually works?

Is there anything else I can try?

Your help will be very appreciated.

Sorry, you have problems getting the printer to set up and print.  Here is a video on uninstalling software of the printer in Windows 8 (which is step 1).  After uninstall, restart the computer, then try to install the full feature software and drivers Deskjet 4180 (link is for Windows 8 32 bit) using this download.

To the best of my knowledge, this driver should work (I have not heard otherwise).  Try this for me first and if it doesn't work, tell me what is happening. I hope this works!
