Drivers for HP 2011 series wide LCD monitor 20 "on Windows server 2008

I am running WS2k8 on a Dell Power edge 1800, the problem here is that the monitor drivers do not work, but they used to work when the server were running Windows server 2003

can anyone help?

Problem solved, first I had to uninstall the default drivers used by windows, and then manually install the drivers for the monitor, the problem is that windows installed server automatic windows default drivers, I had to disable this function first. Thank you all for your support

  • Drivers for Windows Server 2008 R2

    PE1950, 2950 and MD3000i MPIO on Windows Server 2008 R2

We're trying to nail a few dates to migrate our W2K8 R2 platform and plan the project.  We have most of our technical plans in place, and we have the code.  We have no Dell drivers however and there are several suspicious communications from Dell on this topic...

    Case #1: http://en.community.dell.com/blogs/insideit/archive/2009/08/10/ready-for-the-transition-dell-provides-support-for-windows-server-2008-r2.aspx

    Note:

    • Our engineers have missed on countless piano recitals, songs and episodes of American Idol while spending thousands of hours of testing and validation to make sure that dy products Dell running Windows Server 2008 R2 are the business-rea.
    • We have pilot complete support for Windows Server 2008 R2 for Dell hardware so you can deploy, run and manage easily. You can go here to download the drivers.

If you view the service labels in our support of similar product groups, you will find an R2 option for servers... but the only public services on the PowerVault MD3000i you don't find any reference to R2 at all.

    Case #2: http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/Supportted+Dell+PowerEdge+Systems+for+Microsoft+Windows+Server+2008+R2+Beta

This is a list of Beta for PE obviously compatible servers, however it would make sense If Microsoft has included natively the right drivers for the Dell hardware in the distribution of Microsoft R2 RTM so, just can't find any supporting documentation and do not know if the network drivers are compatible with MD3000i.

#3: There are a few hacks to get drivers Windows 2008 MPIO inherited working with the RC R2 & MD3000i on this forum, but no reference to R2 in the MD3000i matrix and nothing on the site... it's why, we have wondering again where are the good drivers for R2 RTM?

Can you be it someone from Dell and or this forum please send information on these issues?

#1: driver compatibility of matrix for Windows Server 2008 R2 running on PE1950 and connected to an MD3000i PE2950 is a supported configuration?  (Code R2 RTM was released to Microsoft volume license customers)

#2: the network drivers for the host machines included in the support of Windows Server 2008 R2 RTM?  If this is true, are the drivers MPIO for MD3000i and iSCSI Dell other platforms included in the support of Windows Server 2008 R2 RTM as well then?

#3: If all the answers are not questions #1 and #2... could someone PLEASE contact people of pilot certification on Dell to see if they are same in QA at this point, if they plan to update and display an estimated date of implementation?  We have contacted tech support, but received very vague answers on anything with R2 at this stage.  There is a business directory and a path to escelation for support tickets, but the midrange as this makes it much easier to share information for the masses, we just have not yet found.

Thanks for your information, comments and your support!

    OptimalState

I was finally sent to someone who could give me some information on this within Dell, here's what they said:

    PE 1950/2950 drivers:

The pilot should be included natively in Windows Server 2008 R2 media, and if so, would these drivers would be supported by Dell in a production scenario.

    MD3000i:

I know that we will not issue a new MDSM which will fund 2008 R2 until sometimes in October. The MD3000i requires MPIO to the MD3000i and Dell drivers driver installation to work properly. I'll see if there is other information that I can find. I understand your frustration and engineer told me that this has been corrected in the next MDSM and MD3000i firmware version in October.

So, it looks like October before MD3000i will be supported.

  • HP Pavilion p7-1451 USB 3.0 and Bluetooth drivers for Windows Server 2008 R2

I bought a HP Pavilion p7-1451 so I might have a machine that is affordable, yet powerful enough to put a server software development environment on (I'm a software engineer).

It came with Windows 8, but I need Windows Server 2008 R2, I own through an MSDN subscription.  I did what I always do in these cases, re-partioned the hard drive, re-formatted and installed the new operating system.

I have almost all devices work fine, but it still does not recognize the USB 3.0 ports and Bluetooth device.  I looked everywhere but could not find something that works.  Whatever it either from the HP site is targeted for Windows 7 or 8 and trying one of those, it tells me "your system does not meet the requirements of the operating system" and MSI publishes all the drivers for this particular motherboard (that I can find anyway).

Motherboard: MSI MS-7778, also known under the name of: MSI 2AEO version 1.0

    BIOS: FRIEND 8.12

Here is the list of "other devices" in Device Manager that Windows does not recognize:

    BCM20702A0

    (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller

    (USB) Universal Serial Bus controller

    Bluetooth device ID: USB\VID_0A5C & PID_21F1 & REV_0012

    USB Controller device ID: PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 & SUBSYS_2AE0103C & REV_03

Windows doesn't always recognize them after allowing him to look on the internet.

I googled everywhere and I'm not getting anywhere.

    Does anyone have advice?

Any chance that this could be linked to the BIOS?

I'm not having any chance to find a BIOS download for this motherboard either.

    Any help is very appreciated!

    Find out!

  • Pavilion p6110t CTO Desktop: drivers for Windows Server 2008 and HARD drive problems

Recently, I had the hard drive with my OS failure. After replacing the hard drive and reinstall windows server 2008, I seem to have encountered some problems with drivers.  After insalling Windows, I had 3 items in my device manager that not have installed correctly. I could get the driver for the LAN port to work, but I did not get the driver to "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" and "SM Bus controller". After a little research, I believe that the graphics card is a Radeon HD4350. With this information, I still have been unable to toinstlal the correct drivers or the other of these elements. I tried several drivers listed on the support page of the drivers on the HP website, but all fo return them the same error of not finding the right operating system. The link to the driver, I used initially on my previous installation seems is no longer valid.

Also, I can't access two additoinal hard disks (sata connected). They were used with the previous installation of windows without any problem. They appear in the Device Manager but do not show in my computer. A removable disk appears that I don't know what it is. Previously I used the software to mirror one of the disks on the other in order to avoid the loss of data if a disk fails. Is one of the above players with not be able to access the drives causing the problem or the software used before the problem?

Any help on these questions is greatly appreciated.

    Ok.

I can't help you with the readers then.  It is out of my area of knowledge.  If they are healthy and active in the disk management utility, then that's all that I know these should be reported.

    As for the graphics drivers...

Download and install this free utility for files.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7 - zip, right-click on the graphic driver file and select 7 - zip from the list of options.

Choose 7-zip to extract to: and leave it to unzip the file in a folder.  I have it extracted the file name of the file.

Then just follow the rest of my instructions to install the driver.

Of course that you you first go to where 7 - zip extract the folder and continue from there.

    Hello

Windows Server 2008 is based on a Vista/Win 7 OS.
It s like the same situation 5 years ago. Win 2003 server was based on Win XP and all the drivers Win XP are compatible with Win 2003 server.

If you are using Windows Server 2008, then you should try the Vista/Win 7 drivers!

  • 600 g MT: network driver for HP600B MT for Windows Server 2008 64 bit

I installed Windows Server 2008 on computer HP 600 g MT (product number - B5G17EA). But I'm not able to get the network (Ethernet) and graphics drivers for this OS. I even tried to download and install the drivers for Windows 7 and 8. But that did not help.

The HP site doesn't have any drivers for this desktop computer operating system:

    http://h20565.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/readIndex?sp4ts.Oid=5270873&lang=en&cc=us

Driver search for "Atheros AR8152 / 8158 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20) also went in vain I couldn't locate for OS Windows Server 2008 (64-bit)."

    Please help!

    Hi Provost,

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded the Ethernet drivers from the following link:

    http://www.driverscape.com/download/Atheros-ar8152-8158-PCI-e-fast-Ethernet-controller-%28ndis-6.20%29

And it worked perfectly for me. I had another system (HP 600 g MT). I went to the Device Manager and checked the name of the Ethernet adapter. It is Atheros AR8152 / 8158 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20). Then I googled and found the link above was the driver.

The graphics driver from the link you provided, I always download it now. Would return as soon as possible about that.

    Best regards

  • Windows Server 2008 OS is not acceptable for Officejet Pro 8500 has more

I am installing an Officejet Pro 8500 has more on a network that contains just a Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) computer and a bunch of zero clients.  I read the document "installation of the software of the printer on Windows Server 2003 or 2008" including the updated title hope in my heart.  Unfortunately when I followed the instructions to install from a. MSI file, I get an error message saying "this computer's operating system is not supported", as can be seen in

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/oi3ur31frg8dhi3/HP%20error%20via%20MSI.PNG

I am able to print to this device I have widower of drivers from Microsoft Update, but I want to be able to scan with it.

I solved this problem by installing the complete package on a Vista laptop then set up a network folder on the server for the scanned images.  I then unplugged the laptop from the LAN and now I can scan using the front panel of the printer/scanner and images appear on the shared folder of Server 2008.
