Drivers for pavilion g6-2355so with Win7

Hello!

I recently picked up a HP pavilion g6-2355so because the long story short, the previous owner had messed up their original OS and now had nothing about it - then just left on a shelf to gather dust.

I have now installed Windows 7 above and I am looking for the drivers, but when I search the model number hp site only tells me that it is not in my country.

I could use a help!

See you soon

Hello:

First, install the amd chipset driver and restart.  You want the first file on the Web page.

To install the usb and smbus controllers.

http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows 7-64

Then you can use all the drivers and software for this model (except maybe the wireless).

DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK

For the wireless, let me know what model of card there and I'll post the links to the drivers for the wireless and bluetooth.

If you are unsure, then proceed as follows...

Go to Device Manager, find the other devices category, click the named device network controller! and view the ID of the hardware for it.

Use this guide for example to see how to navigate to the location of the network controller to find the ID of the hardware for a device.
