• Cannot find HP slimline s3750t drivers for sm bus controller, controller ethernet and WIFI

  I bought a slimline s3750t a couple of years and recently formatted and installed Vista 32 bit disc. Everything works except the computer can not find the drivers for the standard 802.11 bg WLAN ethernet controller and SM Bus controller (they show the yellow exclaimation marks in Device Manager) I didn't find the driver update on the HP support site, but I need the real driver. Anyone know what it is?

  First download and install the Chipset driver from the link below.

  FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software10/COL25775/PV-66301-1/sp40863.exe

  When it is installed, restart the PC.

  Then, download and install this driver WLAN on the following link.

  FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software10/COL25749/PV-66232-1/sp40868.exe

  Again, once the installation is complete, restart the PC, then download and install the LAN driver below

  My hard drive of laptop DV6 - 6173cl failed.  I replaced the (1 terabyte) hard drive with an older and smaller (120 GB) I still have an old HP laptop hard drive and reloaded Windows 7 (64 bit) OS.  Still have a lot of disk space.

  Other devices - SM Bus controller driver is not loaded and does not load when "update driver software" is requested. I tried to 'turn off' and restarted the system – still no driver.

  I read something on identify the chipset and get the driver from the manufacturer-, but the instructions indicated to me the 'display' (Intel HD Graphics r) chipset, and comes under the graphics card in the Device Manager, as well as graphics Radeon (TM) HD 6770 M card.  Both have working drivers.

  I'm NOT a person tech in every sense of the word - I understand little or nothing of the workings and the interactions of these different elements.

  I looked online inside the laptop for the drivers for SM Bus controller.

  I can't find any help with everything I read, like say more just go and "update your driver.

  Can someone help me?

  I have the yellow warning against the Sm Bus controller triangle in Device Manager when I try to update the driver it is not found can help you. I did a search on the forum for SM bus controller nothing helps.

  Have you installed the plugin?

  As I said, the VUM consists of two parts: the server and the client plugin.

  You install the server from the installation media and the vSphere Client plugin itself.
