Will I just get off on my risks or do you think that they will soon offer him?

How can I get the drivers from Toshiba? Is there some process... ?

I have software that runs very slowly on Vista... So I need to downgrade... :-(

Any help is appreciate it...

Thank you
Buthaina

Salam my friend

Without a lot of philosophy: of course the drivers are not available. Not yet. Maybe Toshiba will offer them in the future. Who knows? You can experiment and install Windows XP Home edition on the second partition or second HARD disk (if available).

Check Vista what hardware your Qosmio and try to find some goggling autour tem. If you need to run some some software you n t need to hardware of base without all Toshiba tools and configuration utility.

For running multimedia commands, you can continue to use preinstalled Vista.

  • Re: Qosmio F50 - where can I get drivers for Windows 7?

    Hello

My University has a MSDNAA Microsoft's contract, allowing all students to benefit from free licenses of Windows, including Windows 7 Pro (32-bit and 64-bit). I had one since September 15, and Toshiba Europe has not yet posted any drivers for my Qosmio F50, so I can't use it.

    All solutions?

PS: I went on the site of Toshiba USA and they have drivers for the Qosmio F55 (the European equivalent of the F50), so if any of you can tell me what F55 is equivalent to the F50 - 10 K, I'll be more than happy to try to get its pilots, test them and get back to you with your comments.

    Thank you

    Hello

I think that no one is able to tell what American model is exactly the European F50 - 10K. ;)
In your case I choose a F55 model and download the drivers. Try to install and see what happens. After this, you can post the result as it might be interesting for other users.

Normally there is no significant difference between the F50 models.

Furthermore, most Vista drivers should also work on Windows 7. It s worth a try! ;)

  • Where can I find 64-bit drivers WLAN chip Atheros on Qosmio F50?

So I have a Qosmio F50, and I upgraded to 4 GB of RAM, I decided to format it and install 64-bit of Windows Vista. Everything seems fine, except for the wireless LAN. I was able to find 64-bit drivers for each component with the exception of the wireless LAN. It's a WLAN atheros chip, and I couldn't find 64-bit drivers for it on the Toshiba page. There are however 32-bit drivers for it, but they do not seem to work

Is there another place I can find these drivers? I tried as much as I can, but could not find something that works. And I don't know what the exact model of chip is no more.

    Hello!

Here you can download driver Atheros WLAN:

The driver works with Vista 32-bit and 64-bit.

    Good bye

  • Re: Where to find drivers for XP & Vista 64 bit for Qosmio F50 - 10M

    Hello

I would like to know when toshiba get out the drivers for XP and Vista 64 bit for the Toshiba Qosmio F50 - 10 M series.

    Greetz

First of all you can find all THE Toshiba Vista 64-bit drivers on the European driver Toshiba page
Secondly do not all features are available through the Win XP because in many cases, they are only supported by Vista

So if you want to use your devices to high-tech multimedia machine, then you must stay with Vista.

  • Qosmio F50 - 10G drivers for Windows xp?

Hello everyone I had a few problems with windows vista and games, I get a lot of delays when playing warcraft III

in any case, I want to ask you for the Qosmio F50 - 10G drivers for XP

    Can I get them?

    Thanks for reading

    Hello

It seems that Win XP drivers are not available at this time on the European driver Toshiba page.
I also not very well if the XP driver will be released in the future of m.

So do many laptops Toshiba are equipped with the same features.
That's why drivers from other series of laptop XP can run on the F50 series.

Try to install some XP drivers one of the series of portable which is equipped with the same features.
Unfortunately, but that's all I can say for now.

  • Qosmio F50 - 10G - Windows Vista 64 bits and drivers

    I use Qosmio F50 - 10g to end 20 days now.
It has 32-bit operating system on and I think that there is still no support for 64-bit drivers.

If I'm not wrong x 305 series have support of 64-bit drivers and configuring two laptops are similar.
I was hoping to create a 64-bit backup Dvd, but there is no 64-bit, if I'm not mistaken on my pc.

So any suggestions regarding the use of 64-bit on those computers drivers?
Or should I just wait for Toshiba to release 64-bit drivers?

    Hello

It seems that, at the moment, only the BIOS and the BT stack was published for Vista 64 bit OS.
But I'm sure other drivers 64 bit Vista will be released in the near future.

So I would recommend waiting until the 64-bit drivers are online!

  • Qosmio F50 - 10 M - infrared driver for Windows 7 64 bit missing

I want to change my OS from VISTA (32 bit) to Windows 7 (64-bit), I'm on downloading all the drivers needed for the proper functioning of my laptop in the future.

When the choice of my laptop (Qosmio F50 - 10 M) and operating system (Windows7 - 64 bit) there is no more infrared driver (for my remote).

Do I need to have a driver for the infrared interface (which I have and is downloadable with VISTA32)?
If Yes, where can I get it?

Thank you very much for the help!

    Kind regards

    Hi Starmind_1,

I n t have remote to test my Qosmio F50 so that I can t but if there is no driver for Windows 7, I guess that the 64 bit Vista driver should work fine on Windows 7. In addition most Vista drivers also work on Windows 7 so it s worth a try! :)

But from my own experience, I can say that Windows 7 64 bit works like a charm on Qosmio F50 and in my opinion better than Vista. I used all the drivers from the official website of Toshiba and don t have problems.
    Everything works great! :)

I can't talk to you much the upgrade of Windows 10 on this model of laptop because Win 10 is not released now... it takes a few days before the official release of Windows 10...
Also, I guess that after version 10 of Windows, the manufacturers of devices (e.g. nVidia) will release Win 10 drivers too...

But it is pending if your graphics card will receive the drivers Win 10... We'll see...

  • Little help for a Qosmio F50 and win 8 is required

    Hello

I have an old Qosmio F50 and since he still has enough power to manage Windows 8 I decided to give it a try. What I did is a clean install of WIN 8 x 64 pro and I used a mixture of various models of Toshiba drivers and third parties. The results were not bad, since everything works except for a weird thing.

    Specifically, I used:
-Drivers of the Chipset V, 9.4.0.1022 directly from Intel.
-V with Toshiba HD processor driver, 1.0.2.71
    -Enecir v. 2.7.4.1 drivers
-Realtek High definition audio drivers R271
    V battery Bluetooth 8.00.12 (T)
    -VGA Nvidia 320.49 drivers
-ALPS V8.x0.303.206 drivers for the touchpad
-Camera assistant software v 1.7.260.0526L (a bit unstable and settings reset every now and then, but always functional.) The most recent camera app couldn't handle the old Chicony)
-Everything was provided by Windows Update.

    And finally, I used:
Toshiba 1.00.6626.06 function key, cards Flash 1.51.8.2C (version b) .and v.1.3.3.64 SpecApp.exe (aka the button support)

The only problem I have is with the touch media buttons. While working as it should and I can remap them with the SpecApp.exe very well, they do a crazy thing:
Sometimes, as well as the proper functioning of the button will open also calculator of windows which is quite annoying. I tried many things including the search in the registry, but I couldn't find a way to solve it, so if someone could help that would be great.

Other than this problem, everything works just perfect, including all FN keys.

Thank you for reading and if you have an idea I'm all ears.

It is always a challenge to such experiences as new installation OS on an old machine and unsupported. Let's see if someone else with the same machine had success with Win8.

Anyway, there is always something that will not work correctly. The key is that most of the stuff works well, so if you will not be able to find the solution for touch buttons, in my view, that it's not so bad.

  • Re: Qosmio F50 - new display driver for Vista 32 bit?

    Hello

I just want to ask you if it is not no matter what most recent display for my laptop driver: Qosmio f50 - 125 K - vista windows 32 that on the Web page is very old:

    Date last modified 07/28/08
    NVidia company
    Type display driver

    Are there any recent?
    Thank you

    Hello

This seems to be a newer driver for this laptop.
Of course you can use the drivers from other sources such as laptopvideo2go.com page but these drivers can be used only at your own risk because these drivers does not control the GPU heat dissipation and could lead to damage GPU.

    Welcome them

  • Qosmio F50-12 b Win7 64 bit driver problems affects Fn, Power Saver, Tablet

    Hello

    I have Toshiba Qosmio F50 - 12 b. initially, I have Vista Ultimate 32 bit, then I refresh installation of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit...
    This is the problem,

I installed all the drivers for my operating system and the computer, but I can not installed or activated FN key, TouchPad, PowerSaver of Toshiba and the keys palpable above the keys of Func/digital as Dolbly, Media Center, Forward, Backward, Mute-, lights-touchpad on - off utility.

? also tried vista 64 drivers for these things, but nothing works to them.
I tried auto updater Toshiba win 7driver tool (tsi4win7.exe), but nothing changes.
I need help on this situation... Is anyone know how active these utilities, in particular the FN keys and touchpad!

    Thank you...

I hope that the Toshiba support my voice up and help this time :)

    Hi mate

The 64-bit value Wi7 package and Support of Flash memory card utility must be installed.
Flash Card Support utility controls the FN keys and you should install it, after installation of VAP.

Also the media control buttons should work after the installation of the package value.

  • Qosmio F50 - 133, infrared non-operational

I have a qosmio F50-133, in which, after a new installation of license Windows 7 (upgrade Toshiba) I can t use the built in infrared device.

I use infrared communication with multiple devices, it is therefore a very important communication port.

In addition, in the settings folder of device (under computer/device settings) it s nothing information bad and there, under devices of human interface, a correct installation of the IR receiver ENE CIR HID and Microsoft ehome transceiver

Can you please help me solve this issue!

As far as I know, after completing the upgrade Toshiba you must insert composite CD again to install the missing drivers.
On the Toshiba download page, I see driver infrared listed for Win7, so try to reinstall Vista version 2.5.0.0.

  • Qosmio F50 - 10K - multimedia keys are not lit

    According to my topic

    "" Qosmio F50 - 10K - replaced by Qosmio F60-126? ".
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=59934&TSTART=0

I had problems with my laptop, located at the Nvidia 9600 M GT graphics according to Toshiba service. They changed the graphics card with a new one today and so far everything is going very well and smooth. He collapsed again. Time will tell whether or not it returns to his old ways.

In any case, after I took up my F50 - 10K I noticed that the indicators for media buttons (Play / Pause, Stop, Dolby, etc) are not lit. The buttons work fine, but they are not on. All other indicators (the light bar on the touchpad, the volume light) and the power light work fine. There is a button to deactivate/activate the indicators, but it does not work for media indicators.

Before giving my laptop to the service of all the indicators were at work. Now, the indicators of media came out. No idea how to re-enable?

    Hi Jwrath,

I doubt s a hardware problem because they do not work properly and the lit / functions are controlled by added value package. In your case, I recommend reinstall Toshiba Value added Package from the official website of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

Remove the VAP, restart the computer and install the new VAP software.

In addition, check the BIOS. I don't know if there is an option for Mr. lighting if so, enable it and that s.

  • How to configure the buttons on the Qosmio F50 - 12J LED?

I've recently upgraded to Vista with Windows 7 Ultimate edition. I downloaded the drivers of value added package and it seems to work, but I can not configure some of the buttons because when I press the LED button and the support of key Toshiba starts there is not some options for the buttons that were there in Windows Vista...

Is there a way I could add the same button options I had with Windows Vista?
My laptop is the Qosmio F50 - 12J and I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

You installed a driver of Flashcard support? You can download it from:
