DRM data files is stored in the file system

Hello team, in DRM I have 2 or 3 applications originally created 2 months ago. Now, I'm getting issue in DB space such as the data files are created the Local file system. Names of sample files are as below.

/ ddtrg7/Oracle/product/112/DBS/DRM_DATA

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DRM_INDEX

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DRM_PROPS

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DRM_TRANS

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DTRSPECDRM_DATA

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DTRSPECDRM_INDEX

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DTRSPECDRM_PR

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DTRSPECDRM_TRANS

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DTRDRM_DATA

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DTRDRM_INDEX

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DTRDRM_PROPS

/ddtrg7/oracle/product/112/dbs/DTRDRM_TRANS

We see in the newspapers that the tablespaces and data files have been created in ASM diskgroup even during the installation period. I think that since "/ dmtng7/oracle/product/112/dbs / ' is the place where DB settings file, it could be that the location has been provided as input during the installation/configuration. Ask for your help in this on how to get rid of this problem. We don't need this to be grown in the file system. Please indicate why these files are created.

The kind assistance in the present.

Thank you, roshi

Problems you meet again.

Thank you

  • How to ensure that no data is ever stored on the servers of the low COST airlines?

In particular, I would like to use the SimpleChat and SharedWhiteboard in a secure application and will not have any data stored on the servers of LCCs (only used to manage the flow of data). At least, I don't want to have data stored between sessions, but the 'sessionDependent' of these two pods property doesn't seem to work (ie. when the value 'true' history of cats and forms of Whiteboard are preserved between sessions).

I put in a few hooks to clear both at the end of the session and the start of a session, but what I really want, is to ensure that the data never be stored in the first place.

Is this possible with these pods, or do I need Custom develop something on my own to support this behavior?

    Thank you

The data are stored only in memory. When "persistent" we check the configuration node and transitional so we don't save this node on the disk.

If you're really worried about a security breach, you should probably encrypt your messages before you send them through companies low-cost (it should be easy to subclass the current models and encrypt/decrypt points on the fly).

  • Date picker date is not stored in the database

    Hi Frends,

In my cutom OAF page, I use a messageTextInputBean. I put the data type of this bean as Date (to act as a date picker). I have attached an attribute of the view to the bean (date selector) text.

View attached attribute is also a type Date.

If a date is choose and committed the transaction, I get null value of the attribute method of the bean

I used the below codes in AM

    oracle.jbo.domain.Date expiration_date = (oracle.jbo.domain.Date) row.getAttribute ("ExpirationDate");

    ........

    ...........

    Between the code is here...

    linesrow.setAttribute ("ExpirationDate", expiration_date);

    Apply();

Could someone suggest how to solve this problem, get the date that is entered in...

    Kind regards
    Tarun

    Tarun,

Can you just try for does not the date stored in the attribute to display and check if the value is going to the database. It would be possible that code fixed the null value by mistake.

  • Heavy binary files must be stored in the database?

I was asked an interesting question: If a database contains all the data? Or large binary files must be stored in the file system?

Example of large binary files: videos or PDFs heavy (+ 200 MB).

With an old aspx web app (1.1) I tried to open a 200 MB pdf file stored as a BLOB in a base of Oracle 11 g and it has run out of memory.

However, same asp.net web application had no problem to open the same pdf file stored in the file system on a server. It could be that maybe there is some way to open fields heavy blobs with asp.net.

For reasons of integrity, I say that all data must be stored in the database, but my cases described showed me that maybe it's not the way.

SQL Server allows the content of the columns of varbinary (max) to be stored on the file system, maybe there is something similar in Oracle?

Depends entirely on how to open BLOB.
A simple way is enter any value in table (like getArray()). It can be risky when there are great values.
More sophisticated is to read in chunks.
In environments such as Java or ASP.net programming should be operable methods BLOB as a stream of data. In Java, it is ResultSet.getBinaryStream)
You can spend this additional flow, for example the browser connection. It will read the BLOB value into small pieces (or 64K) and pass it to the browser or whatever the customer.

  • Drop database connectable to including the file system data sheets files

I did experiments with the connectable Oracle12c to database functionality and have noticed that when I "drop database connectable to pdb1 including datafiles', I get the message that the database snap-in has been dropped."  I also see that all files in the tablespace for the PDB except the SYSTEM data file have been deleted.

I want to remove the folder that has been used for the pluggable database after that the PDB fell, but cannot because the file SYSTEM data is left behind.

Is it possible to delete the data file SYSTEM for a pluggable database once he fell?  Or this part forever from the database of the container?

    Thank you

This forum works on a Server Windows 2012.

Thanks for the Bug information.  There is no error in the alert.log file, but I found a trace file with:

    ORA-27056: could not delete file

    OSD-04024: cannot delete the file.

  • Way to delete a data file

    Version: 11.2.0.2
    Platform: AIX 6.1

My first post on this has been moved by someone from the community of ASM. I deleted this post and I post it here.

Our tablespace application ran out of space, and we had no free space left in our system of data files. We had little space left in the file system for archiving logs. Because it was urgent, I added a file of 10 GB data to this tablespace BUT in the files system to archive logs. The next day, administrators added system space to our system of data files. Now, we have enough space in the data files system and we want to move the data file mentioned above for the file system to store the data files.

The data file resides in the archive disk group
    /ltmprod_arch/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf
I want to delete the data above and add it in the file system for the data: /ltmprod_data
    /ltmprod_data/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf
What is the cleanest way to do this?

    Removed the word disk group

This can be done without a DB downtime. But the tablespace must be taken offline

    Step1. Take the tablespace offline
    ALTER TABLESPACE yourtbs OFFLINE ;

Step2. Take a bkp of the datafile and move to the new location
    mv /ltmprod_arch/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf /ltmprod_data/LTMPROD/

    step3.
    ALTER TABLESPACE yourtbs RENAME DATAFILE '/ltmprod_arch/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf' to '/ltmprod_data/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf';

    Step4. Bring the tablespace online
    ALTER TABLESPACE yourtbs ONLINE ;

  • Hard drive refurbished.  Print templates customized and stored in the catalog of the icc profiles?

I reinstalled my OS, reformatted my C drive and reinstalled all software.  Upgrade to Lightroom 3 with 4.  Now my custom print templates and icc profiles are gone.  I erase them or they appear somewhere in the LR catalog?  How can I include in my backup process in the future?  Where they are stored on my hard drive?  Can I specify where they are stored?

    Thank you, Don

ICC profiles are normally stored in the Windows system directory.

The models are in the Lightroom presets folder: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/358041?tstart=0. Optionally, you can choose to store them next to your catalog (but not in the catalog itself).

  • during an update lots of my profile folder has been put in a folder on the desktop marked the old data. How to restore this data file

During a bet to update, automatic update of windows has started and some how much my profile data has been removed and stored in a file on the desktop. There is a simple and easy way to restore this folder from the current firefox?

You can use the contents of the Old Firefox Data folder to "roll back" the refresh, but this involves several steps. It's probably even faster than the recovery of individual files and load those into your new profile.

Check in the folder 'Old data Firefox' update adds a folder with a random semi name on your desktop. If there is only one, that probably has your old settings and Add-ons. If there is more than one, you'll want to work with one who has been updated recently.

Once you have identified the profile folder, that you want to restore, here is my "old profile resurrection suggested procedure:

    Overview

Here are the steps described in more detail below:

    1. Create a new Firefox profile
    2. Delete all of this profile folder
    3. Copy in all of the old profile folder

Create a new profile for Firefox (Windows)

Exit Firefox completely and start up in the Profile Manager by pasting the following in the Windows search, or the Run dialog box by pressing ENTER:

    firefox.exe -P

Note: any time want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.

Click on the button create a profile, give it a name like OldSettings and skip the option to change the location of the folder. Select the new profile from the dialog box, and then start Firefox.

Open the new profile folder in Windows Explorer

Firefox in the new profile should look like a new installation of the plant. Open the troubleshooting information page by using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • Menu help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table, click on the view file"" button. Firefox will launch your new profile folder in Windows Explorer.

This folder open, switch back to Firefox and get out by using either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Firefox is closed, the profile folder must be front and Center, or you can activate it by using the taskbar.

Copy old data instead of new

In this new profile folder you just popped open - NOT the one on your desktop - select all content (you can use Ctrl + a) and delete (you can press Delete on the keyboard).

Leave this window open, open or switch to your folder of old data of Firefox. Consult your old profile folder. At this level, you should see a folder named bookmarkbackups among other things.

Select all (Ctrl + a) and copy (or right-click > copy or Ctrl + c).

Switch to the empty profile folder in another window and paste (or right-click > paste or Ctrl + v). This may take a few minutes because some files are large.

    Launch Firefox

Firefox should start in this 'new' profile with the old resurrected profile data. Success?

  • IPod Touch App data files are saved by the XP system restore?

I lost the data files for the applications on my iPod Touch after a BSOD on XP so that the update to iTunes.

"Restore from backup" in iTunes restores only the empty files, due to him having a synchronization since the failure (iTunes replaces its unique to each sync backup file), so I'm now scrambling for an alternative.

What seems to offer the best chance is to do a system restore XP from a restore before the BSOD Point - but I don't know if the Restore Point contains a version of the iPod data files, which are stored in the hidden folder C:\\Documents and Settings\ (username) \Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup.

I found a note saying: the XP System Restore saves nothing of My Documents, but wonder if it means really nothing is recorded in Documents and Settings...

Can someone enlighten me as to the probability of the iPod Touch App data being in a Restore Point, please?

I suggest you to send your request to apple support because the problem is with IPod touch applications.

  • Decryption of the .dat files

If I lost my USB, but still had a backup stored on my computer, I would be able to buy a new SD card and extract the files?

    Hello

Secure backup of access does the following: it stores file safe with all dat files and system files in the folder Appdata to your computer in order to be sure. So if you lose your drive or buy a new and don't want to copy all the files of the previous drive, you can restore the backup to the new drive and all files are restored to the new drive.

  • How to ensure that the binary file is stored in the location specified for my DLL files?

I'm new to computers and has a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop with a program in Windows Vista Home Premium on a 64-bit platform. I have a thread in my sidebar gadget new MSNBC and the dates for the stories are frozen in December of last year and does not update the current stories. I had no problem with this before and I haven't added or deleted programs because of this problem to the best of my knowledge. I got advice here on the checking of dll files and 4 of them come back with saying error messages and see that the binary is stored at the specified location for debug files. I searched for information help with this and I found a few tips that not saved and re-entered the files, I tried and different versions of the idea, at first it made no difference and then I redid it and it screwed up my weather gadgets so I redid it and they worked very well. I then tried on the DLLs for the MSNBC gadget, but it doesn't seem to change anything, although the gadget to power for the Dow Jones News feed is now screwed up. Is there a site I can go to what can explain the route of binary/specified path or debug file. Save/re seems to be the right path, it affects obviously the gadgets but not as I want, any help in this direction would be appreciated at. Meanwhile I'll go back and try again.

    Hi dumdeedumdum

What are the files dll are facing problems with?

You can perform a SFC scan and check if the problem is resolved.
To Perform a Scan SFC -
    a. click Start, click programs, on Accessoriesprincipally made, right click guestand then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on Allow.
    b. type the following command and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
A message appears indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient because the scan can take some time.
    c. If all files require a SFC replace will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Win7 DVD for this process to continue.
    d. If everything is correct you should, after the scan, see the following message "resource protection Windows not found any breach of integrity".
    e. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Check the link below for further guidance on scan SFC - mentioned

    I hope this helps.

  • data extarneous of copy of the completed files C:\ drive. No space left for storage

Running Windows 7 Premium Home Edition, 64-bit with service pack 1 and all other updates installed Microsoft.

In the last two days, I copied an extreme amount of video files, for most AVI and MP4, (890 files containing 580 GB of data) mapped network drive Z (Western Digital Live Hub 1 TB) on external hard drive (Western Digital My Book, 1 TB) K. Copping took 40 hours to complete. No problem to complete the copy of the files.

Problem is during the copy process, an extreme amount of noise data was placed somewhere on my main drive C:\. Total extraneous data are about 450 GB, which filled the C:\ drive. No room left on the road. I spent several hours trying to find and remove redundant data from C:\, but have not found where these data are currently stored.

Where would these data stored? Y at - it a command string search in Windows or CMD Prompt I could use to find the data. All unnecessary data would have a creation date of the file of 10/05/2013 or 11/05/2013.

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
    Try the following:
Method 1: The offline files cache is a folder structure in the folder % SystemRoot%\CSC, which is hidden by default. The record of the CSC and all files and subfolders it contains, should not be modified directly; doing so may result in loss of data and a complete disassembly of the offline files feature.
If you think corruption in the database, then delete the files using the offline files viewer. After you delete the files in the offline files Viewer, a synchronization of files may then be forced using Synchronization Manager. If the cache still does not appear to work correctly, offline files reset can be performed by using the following procedure:

    1. In Folder Options, on the offline files tab, press CTRL + SHIFT, and then click delete files. The following message appears:

Cache files offline on the local computer will be reset. Any changes that have not been synchronized with computers on the network will be lost. Any files or folders made available offline will be more available in offline mode. A restart of the computer is required.

You want to re - initialize the cache?

    2. Click Yes twice to restart the computer.
    Method 2:

    Use the registry editor

If you cannot access the offline files tab, use this method to reset the cache offline files (CSC) on the system by editing the registry. Also use this method to reset the cache on the side of client/database files offline on multiple systems. Add the following registry subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\NetCache
    Key name: FormatDatabase
    Key type: DWORD
    Key Value: 1

Note The actual value of the registry key is ignored. This registry change requires a restart. When the computer restarts, the shell will reset the CSC cache and then delete the registry key if the registry entry exists.

Warning All cache files are deleted and unsynchronized data is lost.

    Using Reg.exe

You can also automate the process of setting this registry value using the Reg.exe command line editor. To do this, type the following command in the window of Reg.exe:

    REG. EXE. REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\NetCache' FormatDatabase /t REG_DWORD /d 1 f v

  • "Backup and restore" in Windows 7 saves nothing, except the data files?

I want to save my 'Favorites' of internet list, messages stored in Live mail and my address book in Live mail.  It seems that the "Backup and restore" function in Windows 7 saves only data files unless you choose the option of system image, and then it is not yet clear and seems to save much larger files that I could put on a DVD.

Can someone direct me to information on this topic or suggest a better method of simple backup.

By default, Windows 7 saving files in libraries and folders for all users.  That includes everything in your user folder: data applications, contacts, desktop, downloads, Favorites, music, photos, documents, etc..  Windows Live Mail stores messages in the application data folder, so they are automatically backed up.

The system image contains everything on your computer.

Both types of backup can create more data that a DVD can hold.  I recommend that you get an external drive for backups. Owner, Boulder computer Maven
