  Try a reset...

  Force restart your iPhone: tap on and hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

  If this does not help, tap settings > general > reset > reset all settings

  IF you have unsent Messages on the phone, they would be afficheraient always in the Messages application. There is no message.

  I just realized the suggested 10.2 OS update on my Blackberry Q5 and now when I go into my hub, it has still all my messages, but text messages are in numbers against them and no names, even if the numbers are saved in my address book.  All emails and all the rest is the display as usual.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Problem has resolved itself!  I tried to restart again and that did nothing, and I tried to go to contacts, who had done nothing.  However, I went into SMS specifically rather than just the hub and which seemed to force it to download contacts, so after thinking for a while, he did this.  Then, when I returned on the hub, they carried through fine.

  Is it possible to create a separate folder to receive text messages in rather than having text and emails go to a folder "message"? Since I was an aol icon that receives my e-mails, I don't see the need for e-mails to go to the two records? Any ideas?

  Try changing your theme. You can also try a battery pull to see if that does anything.

• 3.0.98 (2.1) issue still holding for text messaging to open

  Recently, I noticed that my phone is now holding still to open the text message, enforcement is not serious if I use the phone app and handcent, they both can take over a minute to open I actually had to touch the screen to prevent of is dark before it could open. I also received each text twice, I restarted the phone and think it may have solved the problem dbl but still slow as hell to open it.

  PIN messages are specific to the BlackBerry.  Your device is equipped with a PIN and you can share your PIN with another owner of BB and BB Messenger allows you to communicate with them.

  MMS is Multimedia Messaging Service, essentially the text with media (IE, photograph etc.)

  SMS is the Service of short messaging or standard text messaging.

  I'm not aware of such a feature in the basic text messaging app.  AppWorld has many applications related to text messaging and look under IM & Social Networking > Instant Messaging could give some results.
