Drop-down list text appears garbled

Hello

I am new to LIveCycle. I created a form that works well with the exception of my drop-down list. I have everything I need on the drop-down menu, and everything seems OK when I preview, however, when I fill the form and print it in PDF format, drop-down list text which has been selected appears blurred with boxes!

Help, please.

Thank you, Joe

Are you able to try another printer?

If not try to delete the menu dropdown and adding it back - there are rare occasions where things get corrupted

  • Bookmarks inside the drop-down list text

    I inserted a bookmark in a drop-down list text linked and then has another topic to the bookmark. However, if you build and try clicking on this link, it takes you to the main page, where the dropdown menu, not in the open 'version' from the drop down.

    Is it possible to make automatically open down the text?

    Thank you!

    Why ask here and in another new post?

    For the other code is stripped because it is in the wrong part of the file.

  • How to define the format of a field drop-down list text align at the top of the field instead of the Center?

    I have a form with the fields of data entry simple Acrobat 11. I have, for the first time inserted drop-down lists and most of them is single-line fields. However, there are a few examples where my field must be larger to mask unwanted background. (The field will define the colur to white background are data entry, but I did not write the script for this.) When a selection is made, it appears centered in the field and I need to be aligned to the top.

    I guess I can put a script on the Format tab, in the custom format script, but I don't know enough about Javascript to run on the syntax. I guess it would be a simple line or two of code. Can anyone help?

    You have no control over this. They are always vertically centered. You can use a separate field in the drop down menu, however, and control its background. I suggest to use a read-only button.

  • In a drop-down list text wrapping

    Good day all.

    I think it might be a simple answer to this, but, I still find it.

    In a form that I drew, I have a fall to the bottom of the box (in a table cell) where the user can select a number of entries. One of the entries is long for the amount of space for the field.

    I'm trying to understand how to get the text to wrap and the cell to expand. I have place a check mark in the "expand to fit" (under the page layout tab). This seems to work on the 'text' fields (with check allow multiple lines).

    Is there a way to get the text to wrap in a drop-down list?

    Thank you all

    Chomp

    You cannot wrap text in a drop-down list. For items that are larger than the field, you'll get a ToolTip that shows the full value.

    You can adjust the size of the field enter/exit (using the .w property), but you're probably better off just expand the drop-down list.

  • Create a drop-down list object appears

    Hi guru,.

    We are facing a problem with our 10gR 3 Oracle WCI portal.

    We have several groups of community administrators in which administrators of the community will be added. These groups have rights activity like creating portlets, create the snapshot of search, etc. associated with them, allowing administrators to the community different create their own items to the community.

    It worked very well until somedays back, however we have noticed that now, if we add a person to one of these groups of administrators of community, the drop-down list CREATE an OBJECT does not appear under the Division of Administration for the administrators of the community.

    Please can someone help us with what we face serious flak from the directors of the community.

    on the top of my head check that the Group has rights to this folder. If they have no administrator rights on this admin folder they won't see the drop-down list of objects create... try and post a reply.

  • Subforms appear depending on a drop-down list selection

    I need several subforms to appear in function which is selected from a drop-down list. I've specified 7 item values, if the person chooses the item 1, I would like to point 1 subform to appear.

    If the person chooses point 2 or 3 point as well. I would like to both subforms to appear.

    How can I do this?

    I also, for items for does not appear on the once selected drop-down list. I know that JavaScript will appear in the case of "change."

    I need help!

    Thank you

    Hello

    I have created an example of what can be found here

    Based on what you have asked, I made a simple example with 2 subforms. If the option of the subform drop 1 will be shown then if you select drop-down list will appear 2 2 subform

    I also added checkboxes as an alternative method.

    See the example in

  • Is there a way to make a menu drop-down list in a form?

    I have a form I created for export to interactive PDF. In the form, the client wants an option for a drop down menu which causes another drop-down to open once the selection is made. For example:

    LIST DROP DOWN 1

    Key

    Shoes

    Pants

    Socks

    KEYSLIST

    House

    Office

    Car

    Safe

    The form filler selects in 1 'key' from the drop-DOWN list. Appears under the drop down menu to the keys and form filler selects 'House '. How could I achieve this?

    Thank you!

    This can be done in Acrobat JavaScript popup menu. It works by using a 'button' and a 'text field' instead of the item "drop-down list.

    The following script would be added to the button > properties > actions > execute a javascript script

    Apour var is ['key', 'Home', 'Office', 'Car', 'Safe'];.

    cRtn var = app.popUpMenu (keys, "Shoes", "Pants", "Socks");

    If (cRtn! = null)

    this.getField ("Response") .value = cRtn;

    Create a text field and name "Answer" the end result will be a dynamic dropdown of the key which enters the user's choice in the answer field.

  • Help with my drop-down list in the fluid grid view

    Print-screen-mobile-LO-070615.jpgPrint-screen-tablet-LO-070615.jpgPrint-screen-desktop--LO-070615.jpg

    I built the site of "fluid" and that's great, up and running and I am delighted!  A big thank you to the DW forum. URL is: tyndall.net.au

    Now, I want to add a drop-down in the three 3 sizes: mobile, Tablet and desktop. And I want it to develop the ' Services ' section. On the 'Services' page there are links to 21 different types of services.

    It is these types of different services, have to be displayed in the drop-down list button.

    Objective: in hover mode, the fall down to look identical to the head key, centered with a complete history! To inherit.

    You can see on the screenshots:

    In Mobile, there is a complete history, but it is not centered and not the same size

    Tablet & Desktop - background not complete, not centered, not the same size

    I can't find a tutorial on this issue. Tutorial of Daniel Walter - Scott in BYOL helped a long way, thanks mate.

    Can someone help me with this problem?

    It's these types of different services, I should show up in the drop-down buttons. >

    Drop-down lists that appear to move the mouse do not work on touchscreens because they do not have a mouse.  The current trend is to keep the navigation simple & simplified.  21 links dropdown under Services is going to be too expensive for mobile users.   Just keep the simple navigation with a link to the Services page you did and your users will have fewer problems with your site.

    Either way, justified text links seem strange.  See screenshot.   You can see that.

    Finally and most importantly, provide enough space between links to help mobile users.  Android recommended that links be 10mm high providing for easier faucet finger gestures.  When the links are stacked too close together, which makes it very difficult selecting the link desired without the aid of a stylus.

  • Delet several addresses in the drop-down list on the e-mail page

    on the page of the mail, the box where you put the address in I put the first letter of the address and a drop-down list box appears with several address of the person even all but 1 is false. I went to the address book, and there is only one address of this place.

    Look for these wrong email addresses in your address book and remove them.
    Make sure to look in all address books you may have, including the "collected addresses".

    How can I remove the desired or invalid email addresses in automatic drop-down list that appears when I start typing an e-mail address in a new message (Outlook)?

    If you wish, you can also stop Outlook of suggesting e-mail addresses as you type.

    Tools > Options.
    Tab "Preferences".
    Click e-mail Options.
    Click Advanced e-mail Options.
    Do not forget to uncheck "suggest names while completing to, Cc, and BCC fields."

  • ComboBox and its drop-down list

    How can I adjust the space between the combox and its drop-down list? I would like to than the drop-down list to appear as a 10px above the drop-down list box. Anyone who manages to do this?

    If you googled around, I've seen posts of people who have changed the ComboBox control to open instead of to the bottom.  This approach can be a good starting point for your development.

    After a quick glance, I am sure that you would need to "change" for the private method named displayDropdown; because that's where the drop seems to be positioned.  (line 1573 in the Flex 3 SDK).

    You can probably write code to move it in the method of getter or updateDisplayList. but I don't know what Visual anomalies that will produce.  Otherwise, it seems that you might be stuck monkey patching.

    Good luck; I would like to know if I can help.

  • Space Designer logic IRs are installed, but still not appearing is not in the drop-down list on interface Space Designer?

    Howdy,

    I use Logic Pro X 10.2.

    I can't load my Space Designer IRs logic on interface Space Designer via the menu drop down. IE - I CAN load IRs one by one manually by clicking on the button IR and trawling through my library of Macbook etc. and do it this way - but obviously this is not cool...

    It's where my Space Designer logic IRs downloaded by default:

    1. Users/garethebbs/Music/Audio Music Apps/plug-in Settings/Space Designer

    (2) users/garethebbs/Music/Audio Music Apps / Impulse Responses

    In the Handbook of the logic of the effects, it says "all impulse responses with Logic Pro are installed in/Library/Audio/Impulse Responses/Apple folder. Deconvolution files have an extension of file .sdir. »

    So I copied the IR files in there too.

    I don't have this folder below - I think not that it already existed on my Macbook Pro. But some people have mentioned that they have their IRs logic there:

    Library / Application Support / logic / impulse responses - so I put this folder and copied the IRs in there to try, but nothing happened, if I deleted again to return my computer to original settings.

    I also tried to copy in Library / Application Support / logic / settings of plugin / Space Designer, but this did nothing no more... so I deleted them back.

    The IRs only, who are actually working properly - IE, they show in the drop-down list Space Designer window (see photo) are some Lexicon 480 L IRs that I downloaded and according to the instructions on the site Web 3rd party, I put them in:

    / Users/garethebbs/Music/Audio Music Apps/plug-in Settings/Space Designer

    / Users/garethebbs/Music/Audio Music Apps / Impulse Responses

    (The IRs of logic are there too... but obviously, they do NOT appear with the lexicons in the menu drop-down). I also tried to install any other lexicons PCM90 without success. Tried all possible places.

    Just very frustrated at this point... any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope that my post is not too complicated... I'm quite confused myself at this point...

    Thank you
    Gar

    PIC - that's what I get when I click on the menu bar dropdown - as mentioned above, no IRs, any third party lexicons logic.

    In the Handbook of the logic of the effects, it says "all impulse responses with Logic Pro are installed in/Library/Audio/Impulse Responses/Apple folder. Deconvolution files have an extension of file .sdir. »

    It's okay...

    Note: This is the system library not library user... which is where I'm guessing that you have been looking for...

    Go to the menu bar of the Finder... Choose send, and then tap option go to the folder...

    Now, paste the following text in there and press return.

    / Library/Audio/Impulse Responses/Apple

    You should find all the answers there y...

    The user users folder /Music / Audio Music Apps / Impulse responses is for presets save you yourself via the drop down in the plugin itself... more all 3rd party presets... who could settle there...

  • Custom image drop-down list appears not appropriate on Blackberry 9000 Simulator

    Hello

    I created the custom in my code drop-down list. my code works fine for other simulators.

    But when I tried to run on Blackberry 9000 Simulator from the drop-down list not shown correct image he cuts half the size of the image.

    I check my code, I did not manually height for the drop-down list.

    Please tell me why image appears not appropriate Simulator 9000.

    Welcome to the forums.

    I'm guessing that you don't know how to use the insert of Code button.  If you look at the top of the editing window, you will see a number of options for formatting such as police.  Look to the right and there are two buttons, one is used to insert the code.  Hover over the buttons and you will see a description.  Press the button insert the Code, add your code and you will see something like the following:

        public void drawListRow(ListField list, Graphics g, int index, int y, int w) {
            Bitmap bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource(arrowBitmapName);
            int fontWidth = getFont().getAdvance(text);
            int width = Display.getWidth() ;
            int height = list.getRowHeight();
            g.setColor(Color.BLACK); g.setFont(fontPlain);
            g.drawBitmap(0,0, bitmap.getWidth(), bitmap.getHeight(), bitmap, 0, 0);
            g.drawText(text, 3, y-drptextHeight, 0, w);
        }

    I think it's the routine that you use to draw each line of your drop...

    I recommend that move you as much code as you can out of this method.  It's called very often.  Creating a Butmap here, which is an expensive operation, is not a good idea, especially when the Bitmap image in reality does not change.  So create once and use it in the drawListRow.

    Also use the parameters that are passed.  The width you have to paint is given in the parameter, and perhaps not the same as the actual display width.

    In any case, this code draws the Bitmap to (0, 0).  I susspect should be at (0, y).  This could explain why it is not drawn correctly.  You seem to have a similar problem with the text.

    The drawListRow is assigned a value of 'y' and should paint from y to y + listField.getRowHeight ().  But in fact drawListRow has access to the area of the entire painting, so can do too much else.  You must code your method correctly to get good results in your list.

    Hope this helps, if not, please post your code so we can actually read.  In fact, as I say to others, do not post your real code.  Create a simple example that we can run illustrating your problem.  Then everything can run your example and see the problem.  Never stick all your code.  People are put off by the number of lines of code.

    Something like that...

  • Drop-down list value is displayed in another text field

    Hello - I found this script in the Forum, but I am not able to do

    to work. I have the script from the drop-down list change event field. What is chosen in the ddl will appear in TextField12. The ddl works very well, but the selected value does not appear in the text field to page 4.

    If

    (xfa.event.fullText == 'Supervisor')

    {

    page4.pcEquip.dirAbove.TextField12.RawValue

    = 'Supervisor ';

    }

    If

    (xfa.event.fullText == 'Manager')

    {

    page4.pcEquip.dirAbove.TextField12.RawValue

    = "Manager."

    }

    If

    (xfa.event.fullText == 'Director')

    {

    page4.pcEquip.dirAbove.TextField12.RawValue

    = 'Director '.

    }

    If

    (xfa.event.fullText == "VP")

    {

    page4.pcEquip.dirAbove.TextField12.RawValue

    = "VP";

    }

    on the other

    {

    page4.pcEquip.dirAbove.TextField12.RawValue

    = null;

    }

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    I would use a generic code as follwing... in case of change of DD...

    If

    (xfa.event.change! = 'Please sΘlectionner') {//when something other than "Please select"

    page4.pcEquip.dirAbove.TextField12.RawValue

    xfa.event.change =; assign a current selected value to the text field.

    }

    else {//when "Please sΘlectionner"

    page4.pcEquip.dirAbove.TextField12.RawValue

    = ""; Clear the TextField value

    }

    Good luck
