Drop Down Menu linking Fireworks

So, I did a drop in Fireworks that works perfectly, except that I can't seem to figure out how to relate to them correctly. From the drop of the editor, I have the title, and then in the link for each box, I just entered 'pagename.html' that the page should be linked, as they call on my server. Which does nothing. I click the menu drop down and he's not even act as it tries to link to anything. It just sits there as I'm even not clicking. It does not work when I preview the it, or when I load the page downloaded in the browser. I also tried the full URL in the field, like "jacobsmits.freehostia.com/biography.html" and which does not seem to do anything either.

What I am doing wrong? and is it possible that I could just put the link in the code somewhere?

Well, I realized what was wrong. I guess that even if the appearance looks to update in dreamweaver, whenever I export from fireworks, the links are not, so I have to remove my nav bar and reinsert I adjust the links every time. In addition, it seems to get confused when a .html file is in a different folder on the web server. Now, I use just the full addresses of http:// to avoid problems like this. Thanks anyway.

  • Import of text/value in the drop-down menu link tab

I've done this before and I can't for the life of me remember how I did it. I need to be able to replace the text in the text boxes and the value (as shown below) with the updated text. I don't think I did it by using data binding. Looks like I could use a file .csv or .xml, and copy and paste and I got the result I needed.

I am sharing the value of several fields. I know that this was not entered manually as there are about 5 000 entries. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If the clip Panel has copied one column (ex: excel sheet) it copies all lines as values 'Text' from the drop down ONLY.

If the clip board copied 2 columns column goes into 'Text' and the second column is being 'value '. Default computer will be verified that the item 'specify' values box too.

    All you need here is:

    1. text format and values into 2 separate columns to populate the drop-down list. (can use excel features to generate the worksheet. This step output should be in 2 columns only for text and the values of DD).

    2. place a drop-down list field (no change of properties not required on a TAB(ex: binding))

3 copy the 2 columns of the spreadsheet and paste it by using the 'paste from the Clipboard' tab 'ground '.

    4. now check the binding tab, must be the values and text for all entries in the worksheet.

Hope this helps, if I'm wrong if you please ignore it.

  • How to use a drop down menu to post a link internal

I use Acrobat Pro DC. I want to use a drop down menu to post an internal link in my PDF document. I think its possible, and the solution is probably with JavaScript. I am very new to JS. I have the drop down created through forms, but nothing I have add in the preferences in JS is the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Ok. So first check the box that says 'Immediately validate the selected value' under the drop down properties, tab Options, and enter this code as its custom validation script:

    If (event.value == "A") this.pageNum = 1; Go to page 2

    If (event.value == "B") this.pageNum = 4; Go to page 5, etc.

Adjust the values and page numbers, as required.

  • I want a drop down menu where the parent element is not a link

I have a drop down menu which is filled with links to pages that are related to a parent page. But I don't want the parent links.  People are confused (they tell me) if him hover over the title from the drop-down list that the parent is a link to a page as well. Is it possible to remove the link at a higher level? See www.danielvandekamp.com/retraite where I want to 'Een retirement doen' does not establish links. Any advise?

Go to the page in the view plan, make a right click on it, look at the controls and feel liberated!

You can not. The Flash elements are always on top of all the rest of the
    Web page.

  • Drop-down menu used with anchor on the long table of data links

    Hello

I have a page on our site where we used a drop shape with anchor tags to let the visitor easy access to specific locations within a long table of data on the same page. Recently, I noticed that the anchors are walking around is no longer the tags in the page but only the beginning of the table anyway. I don't know if over time a few additional codes may have been added to the page that is not in conflict with the form of drop down menu, or if it's something else. I've been agonizing about this for awhile now and unable to fix. I'm hoping a new set of eyes will revisit the issue. the url is http://www.vectron.com/products/saw/saw.htm

    Thank you

Looks like there are a good number of errors html on this page, some of them have to do with using the code of the named anchor.

Looks like you have placed the anchors between the openingand the child of the opening. Content cannot go there, move them in theTags and see if that helps.

It could be something else however, html errors are one of the main causes of the problems of display/functionality. Visit the validator to http://validator.w3.org to clean up your errors. If you work with the code clean and correctly positioned anchors, after return and we can take a closer look.

  • Animation Flash blocks Drop-Down Menu

I added a simple animation flash (slideshow) to a site, I'm working on which is located under the navigation bar which has a menu drop-down (created in Fireworks). Thank you very much, you are right, it worked when I changed the target type of URL without a target.

But the new problem is that cannot save changes implemented which target URL, it was recovered on the page target type in the application to the next time. How do I do? Like a menu, I have to put the page number to the target.

and why target page type the application cannot show normally?

This is because (at least in the example you provided) to two factors:

    • A 'feature' the theme 21 Pull Down Menu model list, which seems to be so designed as not to display a link to the current page. The current definition of model sublist will render an image of separator rather than the list entry/link:

    • Your entries of the list all link to the same page.

So to determine which model of list item to apply using the list input parameter current that current page is the target by default, APEX motor sees all of the entries in the form of links to the current page and presents them by using the current model sublist list item template as a separator.

All of your entries of the list really related to the same page? If so, why is this? What you trying to do? There may be other ways to address the issue that you have not considered.

If you really must use a dropdown menu with multiple links to the same page here, then there are two options:

    • Continue to use the list template Pull Down Menu provided, but put in place a framework of Expression PL/SQL or SQL query to determine the current list entry.
    • Create a copy of the Pull Down Menu model list and change the current model sublist definition so that the list entry appears in fact.
  • Receptive Drop Down Menu issues

I am having some problems with my sensitive menu drop-down.  I'm doing a line with 2 separate menus that appear next to each other.  The left side is usually a menu and the right side is social media links.  I have it running with 2 big questions.  First of all, I can't seem to get my (black) go to the entire page.  It stops between 2 menus.  Secondly, when I shrink down to a size phone browser and replace the menu by a drop down menu, my images (I use images instead of text so that I can use a specific font) develop to adapt the space.  I want them to appear as the size appropriate and that the drop-down menu to be right next to the links of social media.  Here is a link to the page so you can see what I mean.  My HTML and CSS are below.  Thank you.

    Hello world

I work on a web redesign and trying to imitate the big menu dropdown as the adobe Web site. The reason is that I need (under a touch of 'products') 3-4 columns of links. Right now I am try this in jquery, but was curious if someone did it in just css.

I am new to Dreamweaver CS6 and as I go along in the design of a learning site. Here is the link to see the navigation menu, with the list in the menu which runs through in columns and rows and a black line that appears when the mouse passes over a menu drop-down. I tried to create the same look but couldn't and am stuck. Spry has been used and how to create the list in columns and rows in the menu drop-down? Or was this done using a jQuery template (what jQuery sites)? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    http://www.perennialsfabrics.com/

This isn't a Spry menu.  It's a mega Menu reagent system that seems to be part of a framework of Bootstrap.

In all cases, you can not do with Spry.  Also Spry is now obsolete as Adobe he abandoned last year.
