Anything can be corrupted on your MacBook Pro, but from what you say, it seems that the cable drive/SSD/flash memory/SATA hard was seriously damaged. Him "question mark" means that your Mac is unable to find any bootable device, meaning that it does not yet detect your OS X drive.

You should make a backup of your files (if you can still do it) and take the Mac at the Apple Store or dealer to get a diagnosis. There may be several damaged parts.

I was working on a scenario week last on my PC at home. Yesterday, I tried to loggin to my work computer, and I was asked to reset my password before continuing. I did it according to the instructions, but when I was able to access the history, I found that my script is not there. How can I get it back?

Looks like you worked in the desktop application in the history of offline through your PC at home.

You can check by logging into the desktop app from your home PC and checking if the word "offline" appears after the name of your account at the top right of the story.

If that's true then please switch to online mode.

  • Just got an email from Adobe to reset the password that I didn't ask for reset.

Just got an email from Adobe, it asked me to click on the link to reset the password, but I've never asked to reset my password, which is strange? This email is from Adobe.

In any case, I changed my password just in case.

Oh, just to confirm it is used as a reminder to change my password once a while.

  • My password does not work and I do not receive the password reset email.

I tried to set up Firefox sync and set up a username and password. I received the email to check and checked. When I tried to access my account in firefox, it says that the password is wrong. When asked to reset the password, I don't have the reset password email. I tried to set up a new account, but Firefox has said that there is already an account with my email address. So, what to do next?

Are you talking about this web site, the site of the add-on, sync? Each is a separate
account. If you connect with others, only one password, not good.

  • Prompt password reset iPhone

This morning at 5:00 I tried to check the weather on my phone, but after you have unlocked my phone with my mark, I was asked to reset my password iPhone. I've never seen a guest like this before. To reset, I had to enter my current password. I locked the screen and unlocked with my thumb, hoping even once he would go. I finished my current password and set a new password because I was half asleep and wanted to check the weather, because it was a storm coming in. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? My phone did get hacked?

    Is that what you hear:

Re: 'Change the password in 60 minutes' I did it, does anyone know what this means or if my apps are safe such as on...

    If so, follow the discussions.

  • Qosmio F20-153 BIOS password reset

    Hello
I have a client who has had maliciously twisted their BIOS password protected by an engineer who claimed that he could 'fix' what is called? the BIOS for £50.00.

So I need to reset the BIOS to remove the password. She asks password at startup so that I can't access windows to try to Flash the BIOS to cause a reset. I tried the usual approach to remove the CMOS battery (which only tends to make the RTC these days) with no luck.

Is it possible with one? Key disk? or reset USB dongle for it or is it a case of Service Center?

    Thanks for any help

    Hello

Unfortunately, this is definitevely a case for a service center because the BIOS removal procedure is special and there is no disc master and mistress and whatever.

West something with a code that must be generated from the technician and sent to the Japan to get another code and so. I Don t really know what they are doing, but when a technician had to remove my Qosmio G30 BIOS password it told me that what I told you.

Just send it to a service center and let them to remove the password. But beware, most of the ASP´s is in charge of customers to remove the BIOS password.

    Welcome them

  • Password reset error

I have a Lenovo 560. I have two passwords - market and hard drive.

I wanted to erase so I went into the BIOS configuration, under Security and no there wasn't that one option highlighterd - clear the user password. I clicked it. He then made available "Set User Password" indicating that the password has been reset. I saved the settings and rebooted.

But on reboot it still asking password? I enter the password and it does not. Do not the password for BIOS either. What was wrong?

  • Password reset on HP OMNI 220-1125

I closed my HP OMNI 220-1125 desktop computer and when I have it turned back and put my password said he could connect... has not changed the password and I'm the only one who uses the computer and who lives in my house... I tried to do a reset and he asked a sort of password reset disk?

I don't have that... Help... How can I return to my office...

    Hello

    You can try the following.

Shut down the PC.  Tap away at f8 that you start the PC to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 24 hours prior to the issue of logon and then proceed to the restoration.  When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check if you can now connect correctly.

Another option if the above does not help is as follows.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the PC to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

    Kind regards

  • Problem with password reset link - "there is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to receive this message, try again later. »

Hello, account Windows Live from my wife was hacked a week ago and has been used to send many spam emails. As a result, his account has been disabled or closed (we are not sure). Whenever she asks to reset a password and a link sent to a different e-mail account, when she clicked it gets this message 'there is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to receive this message, try again later. "She is tried repeatedly, but get the same message. Someone knows how to go beyond that, so she can recover her account? Thank you.

  • Password reset disk only describes the use of floppy drive A (and they are obsolete). Password reset disk cannot be a CD-DVD, I can use a USB flash instead of the floppy drive?

I wanted to create a RESET DISK of PASSWORD, but NOOOOO - my machine has a FLOPPY DRIVE. No product only the CD/DVD PLAYERS and one cannot change the a drive to a different letter designation.

If you really NEED to do this, you are up the proverbial Creek, apparently.  Hard to believe!   How long has he given now that ANYONE used FLOPPEIES (small square disks)?  Certainly, we are asked not to believe that nobody is realized for this oversight!  I TRIED a CD/DVD - no dice.  My machine has 2 CD/DVD players, a Terrabyte Mobile with a slot drive.  My spouse has built this machine, and it is ensured that there are enough USB connectors that I could plant some tulips!  (It's photography & video editing - retirees have a busy life, that pays well.)  There are sites for readers of any persuasion EXCEPT the 1998 'PLACE floppy DISKS'.  Also, as with most machines, I do not want to return and crush things that my husband has a loading on the drives and call other than the names they bear within the network as things go well, otherwise.  We can't decide to call H Drive (CD/DVD drive), drive A, to say, just for the sake of my need to create a password reset disk.  My machine does not allow me to do things on the "fly".  I have to create a NEW one (and download something from those that already exist).  A ray of light shines through the same mess!  I think that maybe I can use a "USB key"?  Does not have a CD rom, but just explore, I ran across the words using a player instead of 'A' USB flash drive.  Hoping that USB key or "memory stick" is acceptable!

    Hi Janice,.

If you are using Vista, please see the following: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/window-on-windows/create-a-vista-password-reset-disk-using-a-usb-flash-drive/547.

If using Windows 7, please see the following: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/window-on-windows/use-a-usb-flash-drive-to-create-windows-password-reset-disk-in-windows-7/4142?tag=rbxccnbtr1.

From what I read, it seems quite simple and easy in both cases.  And not worry about drive letters - it will take whatever drive letter you choose (or who has been assigned to the flash player).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • How can I find the private forum that was set up for me about my hotmail password reset problem?

You have found the information I sent to reset my password to be insufficient. I need to give you additional information you need, but the link you sent to your email address doesn't seem to take me anywhere where I can do.

In addition, some of the information requested was for my credit card, but I'm using a free account and I guess I don't need to present this type of information. Is this correct?

    Hi Daniel,.

I know not who talk you to or by what method (phone, online, email, chat,...), or how it started, but I strongly suspect that is NOT anyone of Hotmail and you should stop communicating with them and providing personal information any more than you already have and immediately delete all emails from them and who come in the future and do not go to all the links in the emails and do not open attachments to emails.  I'm almost certain it's a scam and an attempt to identity theft and possibly worse.

Now let's awhile back and check something.  Did you password reset instructions below and receive the email them with a link to reset?  If so, this may be valid; However, if the link is not valid (or even if it is still perhaps not trust because he could easiily be redirected) and request information (enamel on their part is not ask for information but just give a link), especially as your credit card, then it is totally wrong and what I said above applies. In this case, I post on the forum and forget that normal reset method and get help directly from them where you KNOW who you're talking about.

If they want to use the e-mail process (or need to because you have not provided no alternative), then ask you provide the link they will send (I guess they won't) or to include a way to check for certain that the email is from them given the circumstances - perhaps including a few special as coded message "this message is verified to support Hotmail with the code we agreed on Au93kgke9le ' or some thing like this and ask them to send you a private link response so you can send private code and not in the open air in the thread.

To resolve this issue, go to http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=1 for support of Hotmail.  For assistance with your password, post your question in the following forum: http://windowslivehelp.com/forums.aspx?forumid=d3fda415-1e53-4007-8e0c-2a77180ffb1d.   Here is specific information on the password reset: http://windowslivehelp.com/solution.aspx?solutionid=bf5d34bf-db28-44ca-ac9a-93838d81b2d6 but be careful if the messaging process is used and do as shown above, or make them use another method (or offer a safe alternative).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
