  Of my database (oracle 10g, aix server) has a tablespace called tools for xample. its size is nearly 16g, but current use is about 170 MB only. So I want to resize the size of tablespace to 2G

  So what I've done, taken separately export tools tablespace and backup full export. so in my hand, I, tablespace backup tools (export file) and backup of the entire database (taken using new utility exp)

  Now, I tried to drop the tablespace tools and got this error

  SQL > DROP TABLESPACE TOOLS including CONTENTS AND DATA files;

  ORA-29857: domain indexes and/or secondary objects exist in the tablespace.

  so I planned too, instead of dropping the tablespace, I thought the deletion of objects in storage space and resize and import using the backup of what I have.

  When I interrogate the tablespace, I had 4 object. indexes, tables, lobindex and lobsegment.

  I wrote the script to delete the index and dint tables.but run again.

  How delete/move, lobindex, and lobsegment, so that I can resize the tools tablespace?

  someone has experienced this problem? or any other method is over come this problem?

  Please provide detailed step if you did.

  1. create a new tablespace with the expected size

  2. move the original SCT to the second object

  ALTER table move

  change the index rebuild

  ALTER table move lob () store (tablespace )

  The lobindex will follow by itself.

  3. be sure that the original tablespace is now empty

  4. remove the original tablespace

  5 rename the new tablespace as former

  alter tablespace and rename

  I installed oracle XE 10.2.0 on windowxs XP. I am not able to drop the tablespace with including content and data files.
  
  tablespace and the file is to delete the database file.
  
  But I'm not able to get automatically removed from the operating system.
  
  I ran a batch file which drop tablespace and relaxation with the same name and the same file name.
  
  
  Please suggest

  I've recently updated my PC and now have Windows 7. I want to be able to search for files on a PC on a network (Windows XP).

  I set the folders as "always available offline" and rebuilt the index, but when I search the offline files do not appear in the results.

  I did the same configuration on another new PC on my network and research shows the offline files. So, I don't think that there is a problem with the settings on the XP PC.

  Unless the storage space is already empty, you will still need to syntax "including the content. If there is any referential integrity between objects in this ts and others, you must the syntax 'constraints cascading:

  Drop tablespace tivoliorts including content of cascade constraints;

  I'm under 10.2.0.1.0 Oracle instance.
  got an error like:
  
  ORA-01652: unable to extend segment temp of 128 in tablespace TEMP.
  
  resolution, I've tried:
  I added 2 database files each of 2 GB in TEMP tablespace.
  
  then I re-run same query got the same error message.
  
  On OEM, the TEMP tablespace and data files that it contains are not synchronized.
  
  When I added a few .dbf in tablespace TEMP it has not yet calculated space and space occupaid.
  
  Is anyway I can make TEMP tablespace and .dbf in tablespace TEMP in sync... ?

  You should have added tempfiles and not the datafiles, right?

  Why didn't you not adjust existing files to autoextend on? And you can try adding space via Enterprise Manager itself.

  Well well, ideally after the show

  DROP TABLESPACE INCLUDING CONTENTS AND DATA files; data corresponding to this tablespace files should get deleted automatically. Although, in my case, sometimes it is deleted automatically, but sometimes it doesn't (Windows Server).

  Comments of others will be useful.

  Ok..  I connected on the one hand and selected 'make available offline '.  now, the server and share no longer exist and the sync partnership is still there and I can't seem to remove and delete the files.

  How can I get rid of this thing?

  Hello Roman stone.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  It seems that you can not delete a sync partnership until you have resolved all the differences.

  If you select each gap and fix it is remove the copy local or remote, you can
  Select share, then uncheck the sync option.

  Please, try the following steps:

  1 - Panel-> offline files-> "disable offline files."

  2 - Click on "view your offline files.

  3 remove the folders, and you no longer want to synchronize of mapped drives. If the mapped drives are not removed,
  Then go into Windows Explorer or 'Computer' select Explorer and right-click on the mapped network drive and
  Select "disconnect".

  4 - go back to the offline files window, and then click OK

  5 - restart the computer

  6 - Panel of-> offline files-> 'enable offline files '.

  Please let me know if these measures have helped to solve your problem or if you need further assistance.

  Systems Windows Vista, Windows 8 server, roaming profiles, Outlook using POP3 Microsoft DPM.  local copies of offline files are set to encrypt.

  Because of past problems with several revisions of files group policy is set to synchronize the start and stop.
  Users are complaining of delays and slow performance during periods of start-up and shutdown.  I suspect that this is because of the synchronization.
