file drwtsn32 is 16.5 GB, nearly 25% of HDD, is it necessary? How can I cut down to the essentials?

Need help have infected files in the files C:\SysVolInfo and drwtsn32.exe
Since writing in days ago and got the help of support Ben everything went well. Today got on the internet and page keeps telling me to download adobe Flash Player again and it is supposed to be already in my files that I had put them there. Where they went I don't know? My antivirus ran this morning to tell about the infected files in the system volume information files. Presented those avast and have not heard of them. So they are sitting making me crashing. Now, I get an error message about drwtsn32.exe - Postmordem debugger. Type of event: BEX P1drwtsn32.exe etc etc. Help?
Hi and thanks for responding. I thought I was in trouble. I have Windows XP SP3 Home Ed. I went back for the safety of MS for a quick scan Scanner and found no errors. Re-scanned all files with my Avast antivirus and again came to the top with two infected files. I put them in quarantine. Then decided to back the System Configuration utility, run msconfig and that really put everything in order, but still had the crash. Watched the sysconfig utility Services and I saw had Lass of DCOM Server and also drwtsn32.exe process came as error Postmordem debugger in the analysis report. So I made a Safe Mode and reset the permissions for the files. After the reboot, everything is running normal and be online without crashing. I hope Avast gives me a report on these infected files, I had. I'm going to Microsoft Security Essentials for a better security environment. Thanks for the good advice.

Hi, John banks
1. did you of recent changes on the computer?
2 do you have questions about the computer?
3. do you have security software installed on the computer?
Drwtsn32 is a file associated with the tool Dr. Watson in Windows XP.
Dr. Watson detects information about program and system failures and records the information in a log file in the event of a program error, Dr. Watson starts automatically.
I suggest that you disable Dr. Watson on the computer and check if it helps.
How to disable or enable Dr. Watson pour Windows
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/188296
I also suggest you scan the computer for malware infections or viruses and delete using the online scanner.
The scan below only works on the 32-bit version of Windows

You can use the Microsoft security essentials to scan your computer

The details are as follows,
Product used is Dragon Naturally Speaking (DNS) version 10.1 and according to the seller the problem isn't a problem caused DNS by their Tech Support who I worked with for more than a week... However the problem only occurs when this program is running. The only way that I was able to temporarily fix the problem is to stop the DNS program in the Task Manager process section and restart explorer.exe
Given that the supplier says it's a matter of Windows and with the info I provided please help.
Thank you.
Try saving the DLL for applications that crashes.

I get the following message and then my computer stops and restarts. Every few minutes it.
The system shuts down. Please save all work to process and log off (which it does allow me to do so). All unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by DCOM authority NT Server trial service launcer ended unexpectedly.
CAN ANYONE HELP?
I recently got this and it is now not even let me access the the Task Manager or basically anything on my computer. I am currently in safe mode and scan is useless, because they say that it is clean. I had a chance to open the Task Manager and my computer was running at 100 + treats most of them being rundll32.exe, drwtsn32.exe, and many others which ends in 32.exe. someone please help
Well unfortunately all this time later I discovered that I had picked up a root kit. Finally, it crashed my machine and makes it useless. This is what must have caused it. Virus scanners could not see -

Blue screen: c000021a 0xc000001d (0x00000000 0x00000000)
I'm not a novice pc user, I build PC and my pc works for about 20 minutes, then this stop error comes up and stops my system! It makes me crazy! can someone please?
I have the same problem and error codes. My sister is a little careless when it comes to virus. Never, it updates its antivirus programs. Thus, she drew something and this problem started.
I thought at first that it was faulty RAM. I checked extensively with memtest86. It turns out that the RAM is fine. I suspect that the rest of the material to be good so.
I found an article on microsoft telling me to Drwtsn32.exe allows to solve this problem. Only problem is that it does not for me in the recovery console that I run from my Windows XP disc. And I can't start mode command line as it restarts after that I tried this option.
I've restored WINLOGON. EXE (seems the problem is related to this) in the system like this (being my cd drive E:\) folder:
E:\I386\EXPAND. EXE E:\I386\WINLOGON. Ex_ % windir%\SYSTEM32\WINLOGON. EXE
That caused prejudice is no longer, but rather than solve my problem, I have another mistake of playing with code.

I'm too sleepy to continue on this now, but I will continue this quest crazy for revenge tomorrow. I will update soon on this.

That's what happened, I was using just disk defragment hard disk and since it takes a long time, I just left it alone and came to my laptop after a few minutes (about 15 minutes) and all of a sudden, I see my laptop is off.
I turn it on again normally and after a while, the screen goes black and a blue screen with the message above appears. I press the "TURN OFF" button and it shuts down.
That's the problem.I can not use safe mode or something, I tried everything in the F8 menu such as 'Last good known Configuration (Advanced)' and 'debugging '. Nothing works, all of this brings back me to the error message.
The only thing I can do, is use the Startup Repair tool.
It scans and tells me that he could correct errors, then I used the restoration of the system (to an earlier point), I haf 2 restore points but an error message appears and then they both became deleted. At the moment, I have no restore points.
I can only use the command line Interface which directs me to "x: windows\system32\.I can use regedit (the registry editor). However, I tried another procedure step by step that earlier, I found that told me how to fix this problem, I typed in "System Root\System32\Drwtsn32.exe" and it says 'system is not recognized as an internal.... " »
I also tried "System32\Drwtsn.exe" and he said: 'the path cannot be specified.
I don't know what to do, I ask you is can you please help solve me this problem by using CMD and the registry editor. Please, thank you very much for your time.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
My laptop...
Windows Vista Home Basic
1.00 GB of RAM
AMD Athlon processor
120 GB hard drive
ATI Radeon X 1250 graphics card (that I could remember)It's strange, so you are always able to get into the safe mode command prompt is that correct? If so try to type sfc/scannow and see if it finds problems
regarding the komodia, you can stop this cycle by quickly tapping F8 and select Disable automatic reboot after the system failuyre you should give the sfc/scannow suddenly too who could fix
Oh and the reason for which you've entered in this thing drwtsn.exe and itt said it does not recognized is because you're not on the right track
in any case I doubt that may help, but if you know you need to learn how to navigate your system using the command-line... pretty easy:
CD means change directory
If you type cd-it will take you to the root of the system
so go ahead and type of
Note that you are no longer in the c:\windows\system32 folder
now type
CD windows
CD system32
Drwtsn32Note that you can type the first few letters of a file or folder tab and press on to fill in the rest
in any case, who should start the program that you try to start but I think that your better off trying to run the sfc/scannow command. Let me know how you go

What is WatsonRC.dat?
could you explain what it is and why it is in my ms under all users cache folder? I'm sorry, but I googled the question and I do not think 2 sites and I can't scan or delete something I don't know, and since I never got something else to help from you people I think I have put my trust where my mouth is (so to speak) wrong thank you all for your help
Hello
WatsonRC.dat is an application debugger included with the Microsoft Windows operating system... It is named after Dr. Watson of the fame of Sherlock Holmes, the idea being that it would collect error information (symptoms) as a result of a program crash. The use of the word "Watson" has since been expanded to include services of General feedback to the end user.
The information obtained and recorded by Dr. Watson is the information needed by technical support personnel to diagnose a program error for a computer running Windows. A file text (usually drwtsn32.log) is created whenever an error is detected, and can be delivered to support personnel by the method they prefer. A crash dump file may also be created, which is a binary file that a programmer can load into a debugger. Dr. Watson can do to generate better information for debugging purposes if the appropriate symbol files are installed and the symbol search path (environment variable) is set.
When a program error occurs in Windows, the system searches for a program error handler. A program error handler deals with errors when they occur during the course of a program. If the system does not find a program error handler, the system checks that the program is not currently being debugged and considers the error to be unhandled. The system then processes errors unhandled by looking in the registry for a program error debugger for which Dr. Watson is the default value.
It will be useful.
