  • I was wondering why I can find all sorts of browsers on Android Market, but Firefox is not found?

I searched for about an hour to find Mozilla Firefox in the Android Market without success. I searched under "apps" for the terms: "Mozilla", "Firefox", "Fire Fox", "browser", "Mozilla Firefox", and yet nothing! I then tried a general search in all areas, and I also clicked on the options "Related Articles"... nothing! At out you of the market for some reason any? Android pull it? Or is there something else at work here? I found Opera (and), Dolphin HD (and), Skyfire, Chrome, Miren, UC, Galapagos, boat, xScope, Maxthon, and a few others. What happens here?

  • Bought the new iPad Air, don't let me download Adobe flash amount of other bad

Clock does not at the time of the East.

    It cannot load Adobe flash.

No Flash for iPads, iPhones or iPods

This is why there is no available for iDevices or other mobile devices to Flash. Adobe has been unable to provide a product that has been adapted to the needs of battery powered mobile devices for browsing the Internet. Existing Flash technology using too much memory and ate the battery life was bugged. Simply Flash doesn't work well on mobile devices.

Steve Jobs of Apple led to evasion of dependence Flash when Apple has the iPhone, and later presented the iPad. There was a hue and cry about the omission. Time proven Jobs was right on target.

It's so why there is no Flash to your iPhone or iPad or iPod, or for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites for the supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom application.

Here is the official comment from Steve Jobs on his decision to omit Flash in iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.

Here are Adobe announcement later to stop the development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Flash Mobile. Adobe does not Flash for Apple iOS devices, and they provide more Flash for all cell phones. Flash is officially gone.

Now, you're not necessarily off beaten track. There are a few applications that can display some Flash, but don't count on there is possibility to view anything using Flash.

A sample of Apps that display a Flash content:

    1 Puffin

    2 SkyFire

    3 photon Flash

    4 Browse2Go

Also note that a lot of sites that use Flash provides their own application to access their equipment. So check with your favorite sites and if "there is an app for that."

Download the Facebook app from the iTunes Store. Sign in with your Facebook ID and password and you will not require flash to play videos.

  • Question of Xoom browser with Google Docs

Why won't the Xoom browser allow me to select and format text in documents in Google Docs (in desktop mode)? I hate the fact that it default to mobile versions.

I've tested this on the Xoom and the iPad. The iPad can do (although initially, he had some problems, but at least it worked).

    Anyone experience this problem?

    Hi Jim,.

Yes that helps a little. Just to be sure, I was clear on what I wanted to, I was wondering if it was imperative that a browser was imperative. With respect to documents, if a 3rd party app or browser allows you to manipulate your documents of * me * is unimportant as long as I can do

In any case, this is what I've tried so far, the stock browser, firefox mobile, Dolphin and skyfire (although I normally do not trust any browser that sends data through its own server first then back out you especially if the document information is sensitive), and they are all mainly display the same behavior... However, I think the fact that there is that no actual pointing device is what is the real problem. With this in mind, I think that, however, any browser would be problematic.

I also tried it on my iPad and have the same problem as with other browsers, as I do in the mobile Safari browser. Again, I think that the problem is not have a pointing device to see the real highlight of the text on each device.

I'm still poking around well, but I think that the options are limited at this point Jim. That brings up another point, although several steps into play in 3rd party apps, I have not found it is HORRIBLE when using or Quickoffice or ThinkFree, D2G, when it comes to database formatting... circumspect, (at least for me) it becomes a replacement mobile phone but with a learning curve. I recognize, someone somewhere along the line has a much more intuitive solution for tablets Honeycomb based.

  • Problems with my Blackberry Storm blackBerry Smartphones

I just bought a new Blackberry Storm Verizon about a week and a half. I really wanted to get one when they came out first, but a lot of apps from third party that I used all the time on my Motorola Q were not available for the storm. After waiting this long I decided to go there and get one anyway and test it. Much, I love the storm and the concept, Blackberry (storm) and very in deca. I used a Motorola Q for the last 3 years and could do almost everything I needed with it. Why make things too hard and try to be an island intrinsically Blackberry?

Problems I see with Blackberry and storm:

1 JAVAScript does not work correctly. I have installation of webcams in my office and at home that runs Javascript and they work perfectly on my Q using the browser Opera Mobile, Skyfire and IE. On my Storm, I tried to search for it a Blackberry, all three modes of emulation, BB, IE and FireFox and none it will display. (Note: I also tried the bolt and Opera Mini, the cushion of numbers does not work in Opera Mini, he types lower case letters).

    2. software remote access connection is another nightmare. I could use on my Q software VNC FREE remote access to my office or home computers. For the storm, the ONLY option I can find is simply a paid for the program.

    3. the third-party apps. There are very, very small number of third-party for the Blackberry Storm applications (and seems to be the Blackberry in general). Is Blackberry so hung up on themselves that they will not be open and allow the sellers to fill the big gaps they left with their product (s).

    4. I can't access to my college email address located on Microsoft Outlook Live via a web browser or email on the BB.

Here are some of the problems that I have seem to have with the BB. Too bad I don't like Windows, I have to say it works and third party apps are lacking and simply do not work. Apart from all this, I'm really doing my job as a storm for me, because I love the technology involved with him.

A gleemer of hope, thanks goodness PDANet has finally released a beta for the storm. He was the biggest reason that I would not get a storm originally was to be able to connect my laptop to my smartphone.

It seems fitting that BB is trying to keep their technology wrapped so that no one else can fill in the gaps that they leave, because if it was easy to do, then there will be tons of other apps out there that would work.

darkcyber, sorry, but it seems that your post was missing in the middle of all the others.  If you go through the other posts, you will actually see that there is a lot of help here and there clearly are a ton of people who use it.

    1. now then, remember that BlackBerry phones are not the same as the Motorola Q (which was running on Windows Mobile, if I remember correctly).  JavaScript works, but you must make sure his tour on and you may need to change some settings other.  I can't remember where I saw it, but someone has posted a message on the use of their Storm for the display of the webcams.  They said something about having to adjust the parameters of port and udp (sorry, I have not myself this configuration and therefore do not know exactly how do).  Use the search option and you might be able to find the post.

    2. Secondly, it is once again a difference between BlackBerry and Windows Mobile software or Palm OS.  Be happy that you have found a program paying to use.

    3. This can be your impression, but believe me, there are apparently struck for BlackBerry - in thousands tons.  Try to check the new BlackBerry App World and for other programs, check BPlay, MobiHand, Handango, and various other app stores.

    4. do you have a BIS account set up?  You must configure a BIS account and set up your College email there.

I hope that some of these things will answer your questions, or at least points you in the right direction.  In the future, try to use a more descriptive than 'Problems with my Blackberry Storm' title because that will probably draw more people.  And if you get no response, it means one of two things happened - your message is simply missed, or nobody has an answer to your question.  If so, feel free to go back.  Do not react with the message you left as what makes no one want to answer at all (I did because I'm nice and felt bad that the original message had not been addressed, but I know others here who could see this answer and simply walk because of this response).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hulu anyone hear?

Is it possible to get it on my Storm. I went on the wweb site through the browser, but he says he has to run the Java script?

    Anyone?

"flash-enabled" = ability to use a browser that supports Flash. To date:
the BlackBerry browser does not support Adobe Flash
Opera Mini support very simple Adobe Flash
BOLT browser very simple supports Adobe Flash
Skyfire is not yet available for the BlackBerry browser, but will support more complex Adobe Flash.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Alternative browsers

  • not available in-store play flash drive.

    Hello

I am new to Captivate. I build and published the project to the SWF format. I downloaded on my Samsung Galaxy Tab, but when I try to open the SWF in its flash player asking. I searched for flash player in the game store, but there is no adobe flash player. Please, help me how get flash player and open the SWF file. (I am trying to open in the browser too, but it didn't)

iOS (Apple) devices play content not (by default) Flash, Android and other devices do. You should be able to open your Captivate project in Firefox on the Samsung Galaxy, you may need to configure Flash Player: http://gs5.wonderhowto.com/how-to/install-flash-player-samsung-galaxy-s5-stream-web-based-flash-vid eos-0155548 /

More people move to HTML5, but #flashlives if you can publish your project to a web url, you can attempt to open this link in Firefox on your Samsung as well...

PS You can run Flash on an iPhone or an iPad with a $3 app (cloud browse or Skyfire)

  • Flash Player / iPad help...

Anyone know why I am unable to download Flash Player on my iPad (OSX)?

Because your iPad is not OS X. These are the iOS 6 or 7, which has never been compatible with Flash Player... Since 2005 when Apple released the first iPhone.

It will never be a Flash Player for iOS.

Apple recommends SkyFire. It is available in the App Store.

  • How do I download flash player on iPad mini

My mini says me it does not support adobe flash,

    Your iPad is 110% correct.

IPads, iPhones, and iPod Touch have NEVER supported Flash and they will never, or it is likely Steve jobs will rise from the grave and Apple as a company to dissolve.

Go to the App Store and download "SkyFire". It's free and uses "rendered server-side" to display the Flash content in pages which require the Flash plug-in.

Addition to the response of Helena. Apple didn't took never supported Flash on devices iOS (iPad or iPhone). You must download the SkyFire browser in the App store if you see content that requires Flash Player.

  • My Q9e will not update for Windows 6.1 with Motorola Software Update.

It says it has Windows Mobile 6 Standard installed in the section 'About' tools, but after you download and run the software update, it returns a message that the phone has the latest version of the software already installed. Software update is installed on XP sp3. Clues? Not sure 6.1 offers a lot that I need, but I sometimes get an error message that my Internet Explorer browser application is obsolete and should I put to date. And the "Windows Update" option in the "Tools" menu has never worked. He always pointed out that it was impossible to connect to the server, but there seems to be no server to establish.

You're not missing too much in 6.1. The most noticeable upgrade would be threaded SMS.

Good luck with Skyfire. One thing to remember, is that Skyfire works best with a 3G signal. It goes overboard, a slow songs, but does the job. I don't remember whether or not the Q9e is 3G capable.
