Dual monitor in first Pro CC

Just updated yesterday and thousands of others.  Had no problems whatsoever.  Opened for the first time this morning and support dual monitor disappeared.  I go into Preferences-> playback and the box is always checked yesterday.  I unchecked, saved, restarted the computer, restarted, it re-enabled and the second monitor displays always only my desktop.  Pulls up to After Effects and support dual monitor still works fine.  My colleague has not had the same problem.  I'm on an iMac 2012 with 20 GB of Ram, using a bolt of lightning DVI adapter for the second monitor.  Still, second works fine for everything but the first monitor and it worked yesterday.  Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick response.  I came back to the post that we had solved when I saw your post.  In my case, the issue was that first was 'pending' just a pixel or two on my second monitor that prevented to use it as a second screen.  Not sure how that is spent, but thought I'd share in case someone else has the same problem.  I'll keep your thing in mind for the future too.

Thank you.

  • Where is the Multicam monitor in first Pro CC?

Try to work on a project to get an edition of the seminar made two camera and I can't find the Multicam monitor?  I have manually synced both files into a single sequence and then created another and allowed a sequence like a multicam, just as usual.  I even double clicked on the multicam sequence to bring it into the monitor and the two cameras are displayed, but when I click on the individual cams as the clips play (in the monitor or in the timeline panel) nothing happens with the sequence.  None of the changes are made in the timeline panel.  I realize it isn't a record type button in the window that displays the two cams and the usual red highlight of the multicam monitor stays yellow around the clips.  Y at - it something miss me just, how can I get the 'changes' I in the monitor to become actually changes on the timeline so I don't have to go and do it manually.  (It's a two-hour seminar, just trying to save time here)

    Hi Sean,.

In first Pro CC multiple camera monitor is now in the program monitor. To activate it follow these steps.

Click on the settings button (the button shaped like a key part in the lower right corner of the program) and multiple cameras, select the menu that appears. This converts the program mode multicamera monitor.

    Here are two tutorials here:

  • Two toppings selections in the time scale to the source monitor. (First Pro CC2014)

I'm really confused by this apparent novelty or glitch, pp. I'm working on an old project that has been improved cs6 by CC and now the CC2014. Several of my videos have evolved at a different point in the source media, so the clip is always the same length on the timeline, but contains a completely different part of the film. When I double-click the clip in the timeline to open it in the source monitor, I get two balances on the scale of time like this:

    sourceclips.JPG

I'm quite confused by the present, I have never seen this. Especially I don't seem to be able to move one of them independently of the right section of the images enter my cup, and I can't delete any of them.

Is this something that is due to the upgrade, or is it a setting/preference changed CC in 2014. I did have this problem in any other project before installation of 2014 earlier this week and now I hesitate to initiate other projects in the case where he made a mess of them also!

The blue part is the video the audio part green (this has always been in first)

If you check selection bound (next to the key) it will probably be 'fusion' when you double-click it.

Transmission is checked in the program monitor menu.

The monitor shows my first pro content, it is sometimes erratic. Usually after opening the program my images does not appear on the monitor. Then if I drag to the screen of my laptop I get the external monitor to show my project. However, this made the first collision. I also made sure that nothing on my laptop screen encroaches on the external monitor.

    Hello

    Try this:

Go to file > project settings > General and change the "Video Renderer" to "only Mercury playback engine software. Click 'OK' and select "Remove the Previews". Then check if you still have the same problem.

    PC - first Pro CC - AMD Fire Pro (13.101 - 130604 a - 158071E - ATI)

I'm working on a project and the program monitor keeps going black in first Pro CC while I'm working on the script. No idea why this continues to happen, but the only way I can get around it is to reboot. When I go to close the program hangs and I have to stop it in system preferences.

Under a crazy period if you can help? Thank you

    Hi Jonathan,.

We have not seen a response from you because you have created this thread. Please let us know if you have solved the problem completely. For others on this thread, a few things were useful to solve the problem of 'black screen '.

    1. If your computer is underpowered and outdated (especially your CPU and GPU), he will expose the problem of 'black screen '. Consider upgrading your components or by switching to a newer computer.
    2. If your computer is newer and has components that are well within spec (core i7, 2 + GB VRAM for your GPU, etc) and you get the problem of 'black screen', it is likely to do with your GPU drivers or you have two GPUS and the Control Panel has the GPU badly activated for high quality graphics features. Control Panel for your GPU is probably pointing to the GPU to lower power of two.
      • Note that even if you have a considerably amplified GPU, it may be an old one that does not support drivers for a new version of OS X or Windows
    3. The GPU is problematic, in general. Choose file > project settings > general and set the converter to Mercury Playback Engine Software only
    4. Avoid the update to OS X 10.11

    Other workaround solutions include:

    1. Open the reference monitor: window > reference monitor
    2. Turn off the track (eyeball) power off, then on again. (Note: this may take a few tries)
    3. If you have already updated to OS X 10.11, OS X update to the current version
    4. Restore previous versions of video drivers video drivers
    5. Rolling back to a previous operating system
    6. Restoration of an earlier version of Premiere Pro

I will mark this message as the correct answer and will add that other solutions users can have about it. Send me a PM if you think that your solution should be listed.

    Thank you
    Kevin

  • First Pro CC (2014) - 8.0.0 hangs at every turn

    Hello

I am a user of Adobe for a long time (the two written and video production specialist).  I was very happy to dive into the new update of creative cloud.  The only program that I started using since the 8.0.0 update is Premiere Pro.  Since the update, I get a wide variety of plant.  The list below are examples of accidents I meet.

(7.2.2) CC suite all ran perfectly before the update (2014).  I never had these problems before!  I'm afraid to open other programs (2014), namely that they will not work correctly.

    (1) the accident of opening and closing (generic message telling you that it must close because of a problem).

    (2) I made three changes edit, then went to 'selection' and got a generic crash with her report closing the program.

    (3) when you open a project, it is never the way I left it, which means that the sequence I was working on should be reopened and a new rendering of my bin of sequence.

    (4) crashes when you look at a reading after that timeline is rendered.

    (5) in a reading, the spectator freezes on its current framework, but the head of reading and audio keep moving forward as if nothing is wrong.  Then a minute later it will show the frame playhead is on and then you get the notice of accident and it closes.

    I already uninstalled and re-installed.

    My system specs are:

    iMac OS X

    27 inch, mid-2010

Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5

    Memory 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics  ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB

    Software  OS X 10.9.3 (13D 65) Maverick

  • Adobe first Pro CC crashes on startup after upgrading to new computer screens

Hey everyone, I'm tech-savvy so go ahead and throw detailed responses to me. I've recently updated for Windows 8.1 because first Pro CC (version 7.2.1) crashed at startup of Windows 8. After the update to Win8.1, it worked fine with my old 19-inch full-screen VGA monitors. However, after I installed the new HD widescreen monitors yesterday, I opened the first Pro and it starts very well and is stable until he treats a video file. If I'm fast enough, it will correctly import a file from the media browser, but as soon as it 'deals' video in the browser media or video in the timeline, Windows gives me the error "Adobe Premiere Pro CC has encountered an error and must be shut down". I tried all the tricks in the book, especially to change the refresh rate of the monitor down from 144 Hz to 60 Hz, tried to use an HDMI instead of DVI - D cable and tried to reinstall Premiere Pro (restart the computer to the appropriate in the process places) and tried to adjust to return with no acceleration GPU (only the mercury software). Nothing seems to work. Here are the specs of my computer:
CPU: AMD FX-8120, GPU: 1 GB GDDR3 Dual AMD Radeon HD 6670 each in its own monitor output via DVI - D Dual Link, the monitors are ASUS VG248QE 24 "resolution 1920 x 1080 p @ 144 Hz, 7200 RPM Western Digital HARD drive running.

    TRY:

    Disable a video card driver.

Set up 2 monitors of the same card.

Its a starting point for troubleshooting I.
