Duplicate emails in Outlook
I have an Hotmail/MSN email account and I recently started to receive emails in my Outlook Inbox duplicate. I get hundreds of copies of the same emails if I do disappear from my Hotmail account.
How can I stop this from happening?
I don't know why it's some thing that strarted recently for you if it happened since you set the Hotmail account for pop and forwarding. Ignorant as-
You need to check and if necessary change the settings both in Hotmail in Outlook.
First of all, at the end of Hotmail:
Open the Hotmail account in the usual way. Go to Options more Options (upper-right on the screen).
POP selection and delete downloaded messages
Choose to do what my program more...
Record. Release of Hotmail. Open Outlook. Go to account settings.
Select the account from the list.
Choose more advanced settings
Deselect the option leave messages...
Out OK.
Check the results by sending an e-mail to all your friends to meet somewhere and partying. Ask them to send an e-mail confirmation to the Hotmail address.

PS
The last part, then that is the best part, I think, it's optional

I can receive and answer emails on outlook express but I am unable to store a contact or add sender to address book. I get the error message "an error has occurred. Outlook Express could not add the sender to the address book"
Office has not OE and Outlook. Are you sure you are using OE and not Outlook?
The default location of the address book (wab file) is C:\Documents and Settings\ [username] \Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book\username.wab
The location is hidden, so you must go to control panel | Folder options | Discovers and check the box to include the display of the hidden files and folders and uncheck the option to hide the extensions of the file types that you want to know. Then see if you can browse to the location of the wab file and find him then.

Ok thank you. I received three messages from you, two of the demon and the other Hotmail.
Hotmail has helpfully includes the originating IP address, so I was able to check further. There is no WHOIS data for it (a bad sign to start), but it is not in the CBL. Read this page to see why it is listed and take the appropriate action. Once you are convinced that your computer - and another using the same network - are clean, you can use the link at the bottom of the CBL page to remove from the list the IP address.
I still don't know where FCMA comes into it, and diagnostic tests in the NDR is incorrect. It is not the content of the message that is at fault, but I suspect that the block list.
Good luck!

I can't delete emails from outlook express, pop box says up point cannot be deleted
I have a lot of emails and Outlook express will not let me delete one of them. A box appears and tells the message cannot be deleted?
Deleted items is probably damaged. On the off chance that you want messages to be saved in deleted items, (a garbage can), move them to a local folder, you create and then follow these steps.
Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.
With OE closed, find the DBX file for deleted items and delete it. Another will be created automatically when you open OE.
To avoid this in the future:
Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.
Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.
Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3In tools | Options | Maintenance: Uncheck Compact messages in the background box and let it unchecked. {N/a if running XP/SP2}.
And backup often.

Original title: Repetitivet sending emails from Outlook Express
When sending emails from my Outlook Express , the following occurs:
(1) as usual, send the message falls into my Outbox and begins to be sent.
(2) when the message was sent, I get a message that "some errors occurred while processing requested tasks" but no actual errors are displayed.
(3) the sent items folder does not show that a message has been sent... but a message has been sent.
(4) the original message remains in my Outbox and will be sent over and over again.
As you can imagine, it's a very embarrassing problem. All suggestions are welcome, but please keep the instructions clear and simple.

Hello
Windows XP Service Pack 2 is installed on your computer? To work on this question, see these steps.
It seems that there is a corruption of dbx file.
I suggest you go over your messages out of the Inbox, and then create new folders Outbox and sent items after you move the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.
