duplication of files created automatically in recycled bin
I analyze pdf files and place them in its respective folders (Skydrive), automatically a second copy is placed in the Recycle Bin. Why this duplication that is happening and how to fix even? Thank you.
Hi EbbyGuallar,
-Is that this duplication problem is specific to any file or all the files on the computer?
I suggest you to check if the problem persists in creating the word/text document. This problem can cause due to the infection by the virus. Then check if the problem persists in Safe Mode with networking, if the problem does not persist try running virus scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner, it will help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.
Note: When the boot advanced options select Safe mode with network.
Also Note: data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.
It will be useful. Back to us for any problem related to Windows. We will be happy to help you.

file $rafsykh in the recycling bin seems to be store empty even when items
Tonight I used windirstat (http://windirstat.info/) to search for large files that I could remove to make more space on my hard drive and found about 7 GB in the trash, even after it had been emptied. The files are in a folder called $rafsykh and contains music files that were there when I emptied a few days ago. If I go into this folder, I can actually play the files, while they in fact seem to be there.

invite cmd, I was able to open the files
http://img.Photobucket.com/albums/V302/dankarak/cmdPrompt.jpg
Basket is empty
http://img.Photobucket.com/albums/V302/dankarak/rbin.jpgWhat is $rafsykh, why are the files still there and how I remove them? These files are so that they can be restored?
It seems that your Recycle Bin is corrupted.
You can remove it using this procedure: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/131294-recycle-bin-corrupted-cannot-delete-file-folder.html
The Recycle Bin on Vista, it works that the two files are created: Let's start with R$ and the other with I$ followed by a random string. The I$ file contains metadata that and rhe $R file contains the original data. Eventually the $I file has been deleted, but something stopped deleting the $R file.
-The 1000 at the end of the SID indicates that these files belong to the first account created on the computer. If it is different from the account that you use to display the Recycle Bin you will not see them. A user only sees the content of the trash that they have created.

Cannot delete files to the trash (Recycle Bin access denied)
System: Windows 7 Ent SP1 x 64, i7 930, 24GO RAM with all updates
When I try to delete files in Windows Explorer, I get the following error (most of the time, but not always):
Window with the title 'Recycle Bin access denied' and the message
"
cannot be moved to the trash. Do you want to permanently delete it? » I can then permanently delete the file, even if I sent to the trash.
I tried the following (nothing works):
-checked to see if the file is locked with Process Explorer (find handle or DLL)-it is not (and it can be removed permanently)
-deleted all the recycle bins on all drives & restarted. New recycling bins have been created, but it did not help.
-changed of owner of baskets and all files as (with the takeown command). Corrupt system baskets complained, emptied their and restored to their previous state. This did not help the primary problem.
-set the maximum size to the size of the disk on all baskets. It has no effect on the main problem.
-J' also checked the security for the folders tab $RECYCLE. BIN on all readers and define "Full control" for users. SYSTEM and administrators had already 'Full comtrol. This did not help also.
What is strange (and new), is when I open the Recycle Bin, the files are always considered to be "Tiles" (which I did not). If I put it in 'Détails', the change is not permanent - the next time I open the Recycle Bin, the files are showed once again as "Tiles".
What can I do to be able to delete (all) files via the Recycle Bin?
Thanks Mike for the response, but none of the methods helped. There was no malware and even in safe mode, I could not delete files to the Recycle Bin. In addition, the original administrator account could not delete to the Recycle Bin.
But I think I found the culprit:
Apparently, this problem showed that in the downloads folder, to which I had many junctions (to be easily accessible). Due to lack of space on the C: drive, I remembered that I have moved through properties-> location on a disk with more space. Instead of the old folder in C:\Users\
downloads I put a junction pointing to the new location. Now, I had old junctions pointing to C:\Users\
personal, which in turn was a junction pointing to a new location. Registration/creation/look at one/etc files in folder downloads accessible through 2 junctions was of course OK, but delete somehow was not able to delete files to the Recycle Bin. When I fixed the remaining junctions to point directly to the new location of the download folder, delete started working OK again. Summary:
Delete the file (SHFileOperation?) is not able to use the trash, if the file is accessible via junction 2 points (or more?).

Why can I not move file .dat to the recycling bin?
When I try to delete a .dat file that he asks to delete permanently, however I don't want to do this. I want to just move it to the recycling bin in case I need it, I can restore from there. However whenever I delete the .dat (from Desktop on my C:\ folder) it not move not the .dat file instead he said: he can't move it and it can delete it only permanently. I have a SSD hard drive in a laptop.
I already checked Recycle Bin properties (those configured correctly) and it is not on a flash drive, this drive has a recycling bin.
I wonder what it could be?
What is so special about a .dat file?
Wrong question: nothing special about of a .dat file.
Good question: what is so special about your Windows installation?
I suspect malware, a virus, or a third-party application that has its own ideas on the .dat files. It certainly isn't a property of Windows. You can easily check this by running a test on any Windows 7 computer.

When all the files are open this automaticly returned to remove and trash when these windows are open you can not close but if you do a soft boot up. It will also do the same on a fresh boot and openening a word doc and starts just deleting all the carecters
Hello
- Did you do last changes made on your computer before the show?
- Have you run a virus scan to check if there are viruses in the computer that is the source of the problem?
- Have you run any script that removes files that you have planned by it?
- You use your network workgroup or domain or did you keep files on shared drives? If it is the domain, you must have a permission for a user to delete the file or complete with working group
Method 1: File system [SFC] Checker
Try to run a scan of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer that will replace missing or corrupt files & check if the problem persists.
How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833
Method 2: Run a virus scan to check if there are infections on the computer:
Microsoft safety scanner
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: If infections are detected during the scan, there is a risk of data loss because infected files will be deleted.

Very well. My computer is messed up awhile back and my friend saved my whole hard drive, the files system and everything, then wiped and restored, then ALL put in a folder called "windows.old" that I can access my hard drive. So since he has saved the files system and everything, I'll be able to recover my old files I had deleted before it was erased, if (hopefully) they is not replaced? If so, what filepath can I go in?
Hi thatonehxckid,
The content in the trash is not saved in the folder windows.old during a custom installation.

Location of old files removed from the Recycle Bin
I would like to grab a few videos that I deleted some return of the trash. Is this possible? and how do I do that?
Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 12:25:49 + 0000, Mark wrote:> I would like to grab a few videos that I deleted some return of the trash. Is this possible? and how do I do that? How long is "all the time"? Unless it's a very short time, yourchances are next to zero now.But here's my standard response:"Deleting" a file does not actually delete it marks just the spacealso available to be used. There are third-party programs that cansometimes recover deleted files. The problem is that the space used bythe file is likely to be replaced very quickly, and it makesthe unrecoverable file.So your chances of successfully recover this file are decent if youTry it again immediately after the deletion of it and go quicklydownhill from there. If you have used the computer since then (forexample to write this question and read this answer), your chances maybe very poor now.But if the file is large enough, it's still worth a try. Stopusing the computer in question immediately, if you have not donealready. Download an undelete program (and here's one:)http://www3.TELUS.NET/mikebike/restoration.html but there are severalothers to choose from; Do a search) on a friend's computer and bringit to you on a floppy disk, CD or USB to try.If that fails, your only recourse is to bring or send the disca company of professional file recovery. This kind of service is veryexpensive and may or may not work in your case. And another thing to note: If you have files on your diskimportant for you and you don't save them regularly outsidemedia, you play with fire.
