Duplication of page when exporting to pages in InDesign CS6.

Hey community,.

for a college project I'm creating an a5 sketchbook bit, I got everything done, but when I export the file as pages (which is what asked the company that is printing) some duplication of spread on the pages as follows:

Book Pages.pdf - Adobe Acrobat Pro_2012-05-19_13-53-37.jpg

In InDesign, I have the updated document in place like this with facing pages:

_2012-05-19_13-54-54.jpg

Could someone help me please? I'm far from an expert using InDesign, thanks to anyone who is kind enough to help, if you need more screenshots, hopefully I'll put them up.

The top one is planned. Inside bleed (edge of the other page), which as I said earlier it is a problem, but to make you, and Bob, feel more at ease to set up the document purge options like this in the paper configuration dialog:

(break the screen on the bleed settings, and then set the internal field 0)

    Adobe strongly recommends use of PDF/X-4, which retains direct management transparency and color all the way to the INVESTIGATION period.

    PDF/X-1a is indeed antiquated for any content that uses anything other than CMYK + spot color or transparency.

    All modern PDF workflow software supports PDF/X-4. If you are printing to a PostScript RIP, Acrobat Pro (version X and XI) can print PDF/X-4 of tears (or printers) pretty well.

  • Turn off printing when exporting to PDF from Indesign

    Hi I need to create a form T & C, which will be sent to outside customers, sales team have requested that this be readable but not printable in PDF format in one small step in safeguarding the environment. In fact, I reached last week and now for the life of me can not work out how to do it again. Anyone would be able to help?  Thank you, Claire

    NB: unchecking the "print layer" in the layer box Options does not work, unfortunately or not checking the "Unprintable" option in the attributes window. I have a feeling that it was something in the export dialog box, but certainly not an ermissions of security as the PDF option that I created last week does not require a password and does not print.

    I would create your security in Acrobat Pro.

    Open the PDF file and choose file > properties > Security.

    Set a Permissions password. Set up the document for printing. This does not require a password to open the document, but would require only a password if you want to change the settings.

  • Impossible to get to work when exporting to PDF page transitions

    Hi all

    I tried to apply page transitions to a document that I realized. I tried to apply the two side of the cover and push passes to each Board in the booklet but when I export to PDF does not work with either, I've seen full screen in Acrobat Reader DC, DC Acrobat and Foxit reader with no joy. With this in mind, I think it might be something to do with how I export as much research, that I've done was referenced InDesign CS6 was so different from what I look at in InDesign CC. Can anyone advise me as to what I can hurt?

    Thanks in advance

    Two invites on 1 page in Indesign that when exporting to adobe reader in pdf format, I can simply add new names that populate both copies and then be printable. Any help out there is how to make an invitation in Indesign, but now how to make 2 copies on a single page that someone else ie the customer can add their own names. So each field name must complete on both guest. Sounds simple, but is not really there to help. I think he called an interactive pdf. Thanks in advance.

    AutoFill is the easiest part, he lies. If both fields have the same name, they will have the same content: type in one and it appears in the other.

  • Dissappearing page number when exporting to PDF

    Hello!

    I encountered a problem exporting an Indesign booklet in PDF format.

    I created a basic layout, with 2 masters.

    I've included page numbers (master) and this is where the problem begins.

    Page numbers are visible on each page in indesign.

    But when I export to PDF, the page numbers on the left of the booklet pages disappear.

    The numbers on the right pages are exactly where they are supposed to be.

    I don't know where to begin the search since I was rather inexperienced in Indesign.

    Anyone? Thank you!

    NIX75

    Version? OPERATING SYSTEM?

    There are a few known issues with master endangered items in early versions of CS4. They must be fixed in the 6.0.4 update.

    If this isn't your problem, please post back with more details. A screenshot of the East where the number would help, too.

  • Export unique PDF pages to InDesign after the data merge

    So I got this hitch with my last job that I can't move.

    I'm generating nearly 700 labels of bag with the help of the data fusion which is each in their own PDF file with a unique file name.

    My current process is:

    1. Open my file in InDesign.
    2. Data merge all labels like "creating a merged document.
    3. Run a script that does some minor changes and then automatically add bookmarks based on a paragraph style.
    4. Export a single pdf file containing all the labels.

    Now, that's the thing that I meet. Initially, I thought open the PDF in acrobat and then divide the file based on the bookmark names - that works very well. However, I also need convert the text to outlines text, then the fonts don't get replaced by our supplier in China (long story). Ideally, I discovered Acrobat can do it himself, but unfortunately it can not be used for several single paged pdf files in the Action Wizard. If I vectorize the text before you split the pdf file, the bookmark naming convention does not seem to work...

    I thought that this might work, but if there was a script that could export PDFs page of InDesign itself and use the paragraph style name. And then I could put just a pdf preset to underline the text. I can't find anything like those well...

    So there's my pickle. I would be grateful for your suggestions!

    Thanks in advance!

    An any other Acrobat Pro script may be worth a try if you want to split based on. CSV:

    /* https://forums.adobe.com/message/5551746 */
    var CSV = function(data) {
        var _data = data.split('\r\n');
        for(var i in _data) {
            if(_data[i].length > 0) {
                console.println(i + ' ' + _data[i]);
                _data[i] = _data[i].split(',');
            }
        }

        var _head = _data.shift();
        return {
            length: function() {
                return _data.length - 1;
            },
            getRow: function(row) {
                return _data[row];
            },
            getRowAndColumn: function(row, col) {
                if(typeof col !== 'string') {
                    return _data[row][col];
                } else {
                    col = col.toLowerCase();
                    for(var i in _head) {
                        if(_head[i].toLowerCase() === col) {
                            return _data[row][i];
                        }
                    }

                }
            }
        };
    };
    this.importDataObject("CSV Data");
    var dataObject = this.getDataObjectContents("CSV Data");
    var csvData = new CSV(util.stringFromStream(dataObject));
    if(this.numPages != csvData.length()) {
        app.alert("Number of pages & CSV row count inconsistent");
    } else {
        for(var i = 0; i < this.numPages; i++) {
            this.extractPages({nStart: i, cPath: csvData.getRowAndColumn(i, 'PartnerHQ_Id') + '.pdf'});
        }
    }

    Note that the column header is supposed to be (this can of course be changed on line 41 of the script code):

    PartnerHQ_Id

    Anyone know how to export a PDF from InDesign is "click to go to the next page" instead of "scroll to go to the next page?

    I do not use the InDesign last, but in the past ID options for export to the format PDF did not define how a PDF should be considered once exported.  However, these settings can be adjusted in Acrobat via preferences: departure of layout and Zoom in the view of the Page.

  • Export a document multi-page of InDesign to PDF single page but with unique filenames using scripts

    Hello

    I use InDesign 5.5.

    My goal is to export an InDesign MultiPage as single page PDF files, but every single PDF must be named uniquely.

    For example;

    InDesignFileName_487275123.00.pdf

    InDesignFileName_734876882.00.pdf

    .. and so on.

    I spent a lot of time searching online and the closest I found is the software called exit factory that works very well.

    Factory works by placing a title of script in a textframe on the master page in InDesign. Then everything that is typed in the text on each of the separate pages block sets the file name of each separate page.

    However if I can solve this problem without any investment cost my boss will be very happy

    I found PEU5 that works very well for export as single pages, now it's name every single PDF, but I don't know anything that would you like to create a script, but I get the gist of what they are doing. I understand that a script could solve the second half of my problem.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you.

  • [CS6] Export the page created by Alternative layout (InDesign CS6)

    How to export a page created by Alternative page layout in InDesign CS6? Or how can I get the name of the alternative page layout containing a page?

    I can usually export an InDesign page to JPEG using the exportFile of the document. Normally, it works in pageString value of application jpegExportPreferences on the name of the page that you wish to export.

    It works normally:

    // set export range to a custom range
    app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegExportRange = ExportRangeOrAllPages.exportRange;

    // set pageString to the name of the page I want to export, e.g. "3"
    app.jpegExportPreferences.pageString = page.name;

    // export page to jpg
    doc.exportFile(ExportFormat.jpg, filePath, false);

    The problem is, with pages created by the Alternative to the CS6 layout, there may be a lot of pages with the same name of '3 '. ExportFile method should now know the 'type' or the name of the layout of a page to export. Instead of using '3' as the pageString, I need to use something like "iPad h: 3. (See the image below). But I know not possible to get the name of a page layout. Can you please help?

    When exporting my image in LR I select my brand of water in the drop-down list. Then I need to select 'Edit watermark' since the same drop-down menu in order to replace it. When I do that and click 'done' the watermark disappears in the box menu to export. When I click on "Export" the image exports WITHOUT my watermark. Help, please. As I did about everything that has been suggested in this forum and I still have this problem.

    I saw that too. For now, the workaround is that if you select 'Edit watermark,' when you are done editing be sure to reselect the same watermark. If you do not, the watermark menu will be empty.

    It seems to be a known bug that occurs only in the current version. If all goes well, it can be fixed in the next update. There is a page for her on the Photoshop/Lightroom Feedback site. I've added my vote to the page:

    If all you want is to see a gap of page when you view a PDF file in Acrobat, export to PDF from InDesign mayonnaise. When the single page PDF is ready, open it in Acrobat and go to view > Page Display and implement two continuous. For the first page on its own, select view > Page Display > Show Cover Page during two places.

    Hey Willi,

    Sorry I'm new to this. Here are the answers to your questions and I hope you can give some tips.

    1 OSX 10.9.2

    2 indesign CC2014 (I just started to use during the last two weeks)

    3 illustrator CS3 (files that have been given to me, have been created to CS6), I made a few changes to fonts that in CS3 before I had CC bought, but I tried one of the files transferred directly into CC instead of CS3 back and he still has the same problem.

    4. the file I linked IS an eps, I always do an eps because with all my files I leave the fonts in the file have and save a second file, the eps where I saw all the fonts to save all of the possible problems of fonts. But you think that I shouldn't do this?

    5. you can see the lines in Indesign only when high-quality screen, they do not seem to remain in the same position, but at 100% and 200%, they are quite noticeable while 600% zoom, they become less bright. These are dotted lines, they appear differently in each different photograph. I'm not export in PDF, a jpeg file because its for on a Web site. If the lines are perceptible in the jpeg format. I just tried a pdf and they are also in the pdf file. We did not think that what was happening only to images, but in a single file where there is a shadow on the text, he did boxing odd sam-lines around the text.

    6.I exports the JPEG from Indesign CC

    7. I open the jpeg in Photoshop.

    9 seem to stay the same size. You don't see them at all in illustrator eps files.

    10. I can't talk about it. How would know that? Where is that located setting? Thank you

    11. I don't know how to look for color mode - modes are that indesign CC is in CMYK mode. Illustrator CMYK. But when I export as a jpeg I change into RGB in the export process. How can I find the color space? I'm not very technical minded. I'm sorry. That's why I freak out when I get questions like this. I thank very you much for trying to help me.
