dv3 laptop RAM

Hello

My laptop: HP Pavilion dv3 - 4100st Entertainment Notebook PC

I am using 6 GB (4 + 2) RAM. I want to improve memory 12 GB (8 + 4)

In the technical documentation it says maximum supported memory is 8 GB. Is - this total memory or for accommodation?

Should I try 8 + 4?

Hello:

2 x 4 PC3-10600 Go is the maximum of the memory of your laptop.

Here is the link to the service manual.

http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02639565.PDF

Info memory are in Chapter 1, page 2.

The Intel 5 series chipset does support up to 8 GB of memory, so 4 + 8 does not work.

Hello I write to inquire about upgrading my ram of the laptop. I am currently using the standard 4 GB ram provided for me with my laptop. But now I want to have more memory. My processor is a core i5-2430 cpu @ 2.40 GHz.  I want to know how much and how fast ram can only install on my pc.  my product serial No. is not SCH1321APY and prodcut. is QG477PA #ACJ

Yes. Exactly. You can install 1600 mhz but it works at 1333, so you might as well get the correct memory. 1600 can downclock, but safer to buy the specified memory.

  • Pavilion 15-ab150sa: HP - Pavilion 15-ab150sa 15.6 "laptop RAM UPGRADE QUESTION

It is said in the task manager that one slot free, I was just wondering if I could upgrade the laptop to 16 GB. Laptops have already been 1x8gb.

Can my all new laptop handle it?

Thank you very much, and best wishes,

    Mr. Hayle.

Unfortunately, HP has not posted a manual for your specific model. The Star Wars thing is the series of 15 t-ab100 and the same physical case and the layout, just Intel AMD not. There is a forum for active discussion on the model of Star Wars and we know by experience of the user, it can be upgraded to 16 gigs and it also comes with a single module of 8 GB and an open slot.

I think this might be your manual, even if it is found under the designation 15z-ab000, A8-7410 processor and the plug and the configuration described in the manual seem to be the same as yours:

    Manual

    It is said expressly:

Supports up to 16 GB of RAM in the following configurations.

I do not work for HP. I am a user final colleague who has some knowledge based on fact that for a few years. I never came across a computer that will a 8 GB module and has a slot for memory that will not accept a second module of 8 GB for a total of 16 concerts. If you buy the 8 GB module and it doesn't work I'll buy it from you for a reasonable current retail value. Just PM me.

Note that this upgrade memory isn't a thing authorized for mutual assistance. The warranty may or may not remain intact.

Also be aware that the upgrade from 8 GB to 16 GB does not alter the performance of the machine much, if at all for the majority of computer users and could well be a waste of money. But if you do heavy photo or video production work, drop the pieces of music or compile large batches of the Code you can use 16 gigs successfully. Same game didn't really need more than 8 GB, however.

  • HP 2000-2110TU laptop: RAM upgrade

I want upgrede RAM in my laptop.  What RAM capacity is supported by my laptop. which RAM company is the best?

    Supports 8192 MB RAM system in the following configurations: ● 8192 MB (4096 MB × 2;

DDR3/1333 MHz dual channel support (downgrade/DDR3 1600 MHz at DDR3-1333)

    Your manual

See page 39 for "how-to". Your specified 4-gig module:

    Module memory 4 GB (PC3 12800, 1600 MHz) 652972-001

    https://www.Amazon.com/HP-10600-579155-001-MMH6114-652972-001/DP/B003L27BB0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8 & qid = 1475677829 & SR = 8-2 & Keywords = 652972-001

It comes to DDR3-1600 and DDR3-1333 1.5 volt memory. None of the "general public" memory manufacturers; Kingston, Crucial, Samsung will have compatible memory and I would stick with them. Try to match what you already have... as many blocks on the side of the module, same side for CL. This will ensure a faster operation dual channel.

  • The computer upgrade laptop RAM

Hi, I've had my HP Pavilion m6 1006tx for about 11 months now and I had success in the basic forms of games (minecraft and other training games not so much). Now, my computer has an Intel core i7-3612QM multi-core cpu clocked @ 2.1 ghz with intel boost 3.1 as well as 2 GB RAM graphics card dedicated AMD 7670. But I'm here to talk about upgrading my RAM, I noticed that 4 GB of RAM does not allow me to run a lot and all-in-all barely able to run a game requiring a minimum 2 GB of RAM, so I would like to know if I would cancel my warranty if I upgraded my RAM.

I also want to know if the RAM as the dicksmith (http://www.dicksmith.com.au/computer-accessories/dse-8gb-ddr3-1600mhz-nbook-ram-dsau-xm5717) would work with my laptop current RAM which comes with the laptop, as in can I use RAM of two different brands, first and second, can I used two different amounts of RAM at any given time?

Thanks for the reply if you do. Also if you need all the most characteristic, or do not understand anythings please indicate so and I will clarify with you details

My apologies, just need to really read it, I just read the forums main post with the upgrade and other things, I tried to look before and it has not loaded so I posted this but it's working now, sorry guys

  • The upgrade computer laptop RAM 16 GB. Is it possible for my laptop?

Hi everyone, before forward us here are the details of my laptop,

    HP dv6 3264-ca

    AMD Triple-core 2.1 GHz processor

    6 GB OF RAM

    128 MB of video memory

I would like to know if I install Windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop, it is finally possible to upgrade my RAM 16 GB.

I ran a check for my motherboard through CPU - z:

    Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard

    Model: 143F

    Chipset: AMD 785GX

    Southbridge: SB800

Then Yes. Is it possible for my laptop manage anything more than 8 GB or the 16 GB?

    Thank you!

The maximum memory capacity is 8 GB. The question that you will encounter when you try to install 8 GB memory modules is that is that there is no support current BIOS for this capacity modules.

If HP provides a BIOS updated which are supported by the modules of this ability, then installation of modules memory 8 GB won't be a problem. Until that happens, it will be a financial risk to buy the modules just to see if it will work.

  • HP Pavilion dx6667cl laptop Ram Memory Upgrade

I would like to move the RAM of my laptop so I would ask for help in finding the right to buy.

Care of my laptop is located here.

Memory 2048 MB DDR2 memory (2 Dimm) system

Memory Max Up to 4096 MB

Therefore, there are currently 2 x 1 GB and I would like to replace by 2x2gb. The problem is that I don't know where to find the most appropriate. I have searched ebay and found this.

However, I don't know if the article I found is compatible with my laptop. The series seems different, which is also the DDR2-6400? He also said SoDimm but mine is just Dimm. Any help with this please? Links where I can find the most appropriate?

    Thank you.

    Hello

I suggest stick with 5300 because it's the plug that came with the notebook and won't have any problems working. But if you are really specific to get a little faster you can go for the 6400.

  • What is the maximum allowed by a HP Pavilion zv5000 laptop RAM allocation

The specifications for an HP Pavilion Notebook ZV5160US (DZ330U) available on HP web site indicates the allocation of eligible as maximum RAM (1x256M, 1x1GB). In the meantime, Crucial downloadable memory scan suggests that 2x1GB is a legitimate laptop SODIMM (2) configuration. Who should I believe; and, in addition, what truth is there for some versions of Windows only benefiting from extra RAM so memory "match" the size and configuration? This laptop runs Windows XP Home Edition.

    Thank you, Paul!

I did not hold much hope of much attention to issues related to this one laptop dated - but I am pleasantly surprised to find that someone was interested to address an issue that may find application even in conjunction with the latest computer models.

Given your answer, several nuggets of info available on the web (and on the web site of HP) and information from scan of Crucial memory, I will probably go with modules of memory of 1 GB. For sure, current applications can use (and most certainly end up using) all the RAM, you can collect!

    HII,

I'm Ved of India (Delhi). I have computer laptop purchase Hp 2230tx in January 2013, its ram is 2 GB is too low for my use.
But I have 4 GB of additional ram to third. If I install the ram in my laptop, "MY LAPTOP WARRANTY AFFECTED or NOT".

    Thanks in advance

No, the upgrade of the RAM does not negate the warranty of your laptop. The RAM you install will have its own warranty and is not covered by HP.

If you have to send the laptop in for repair, they will require the original installed RAM.
