When I check the HP site, I find the 2 GB memory modules of replacement for what is that my laptop has already.   As a consultant, I connect via a proxy to the domain of the clients.  I installed a certificate that I received from the client to use the proxy server in the Internet Options settings, LAN settings.  I've never had connectivity problems until I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
  I still can't connect to the internet but I'll have to wait a few minutes for a simple BING search engine load.  Simple navigation is a problem.
  I connect using WIFI and I have full signal strength.
  When I'm back in my office, I can connect using field of the company via a WIFI/LAN connection and I have no problem.
  Any idea what would cause this proxy issue?
