  The error you mentioned does not match the description of the usual Windows blue screen errors. When I put this error for a web-search, it has proved to be a common problem with some HP computers.   I have a m8530f round with some hard drive problems.  After cold session, during the first boot I get the message "failure of imminent hard drive...". "After you start a second time, no HD is detected at all during the post, as if the SATA interface on the motherboard is bad.  I tried different HD and still none are detected.  Looking for updates under Support & drivers I found some difficulties for the PC of m8532f about bad receive this error when you use the same Seagate HD model I have.  The problem is that these patches require that you be logged in as administrator on the affected machine to apply them and mine does not start.

  The screen 'Open' uses Windows Explorer, so it's definitely a Windows problem.

  Try this:

  On the title bar, just above the list of files/folders (Date, Type, size) right click on the empty part of the bar and look at the context menu.

  You should see a list of the types of possible columns, the checkmarks on the possible options. There are more than 15 available date types. Try to create another column with another date than the simple 'Date' type, you now by checking the box. See if other dates are displayed.
