  I'm helping a friend who broke the HDD, DVD and ripped out the product key.

  Have some question about my options.

  Purchase a new 2.5 "SATA drive that I guess will work without problem.

  When you replace the disk, I just want but which is listed in the user manual. This disc that you want to appear in the manual? Check it!

  As far as I know the Toshiba recovery disc doesn t ask for a product key, so it should not be a problem to use it.
  You can get a new product key, but I think it will cost something and it s not for free.

• Windows Media Player won't play mp3 or dvd. All sounds are delayed, but nothing wrong with the codecs or sound card, help?

  I have the beginning of a vast music library and an already huge dvd collection, that I enjoy out on the road; But recently, WMPlayer began to refuse to play my mp3 and dvd. In addition, all my system sounds are very late, and none of my games have all the sounds either.

  I did my regular (think I cannot think and aim to do by shooters of boredom) and tested and updated everything that would update, including trying to reinstall my codecs, and nothing works, nothing shows as bad, but that they will not play again.   Download and install mp3Tag. If your mp3 tags are corrupt in some way, you can re-do using this tool.

  To help you, it can also tag batch (for things like album art, title of the album, artist, etc.)
  It won't affect any DVD, they are a different format.
  In addition, run your antivirus and download then run Malwarebytes Anti Malware.

• Share house TVos 9.2 - Tv series

  Before Tvos 9.2, House share tv shows displayed at different seasons of the show even as a separate menu items. Show 1 - season 1, i.e. to show 1 - season 2 and so on. I've updated by Appletv yesterday and noticed, now the shows are grouped together, and that a click on a show name takes you to a list of the seasons.

  Problem is that the seasons are now disused and in some cases marking the season is completely ignored and a group of shows is just amalgam. In the screen of the season itself shows are in the right order. I rebooted the atv and closed and open iTunes on the host computer.

  Anyone seeing similar behavior?

  I had the same problem, but I was able to remedy. It's your release dates. I don't know if you're dealing with the watch that you have ripped to your DVD collection or ones you bought on iTunes. I'll tell you what I did to mine to fix.    In my case, the show was Star Trek Voyager. Two of the seasons had on the DVD bonus features. When I tore the and retouched in Subler before adding them to iTunes, I put the original dates of air for all episodes in all seven seasons. But since the bonus never broadcast, I put their release date as the release date of the DVD set. So when I went to the Apple TV, both seasons were upstairs, because the bonus in these seasons had a newer release date then even the last show of last season.  I hope that makes sense. When figure you out which shows are you mess up, you can change them in Subler, which is a free program for Windows or Mac, or you can change the dates of broadcast in iTunes.  I would like to know if it works for you.

  Also, just an episode in this season to season out of order in the list of the season.   I've done the bonus release date: the same as the last episode of the season.

  I am considering buying a TV Stor.e 2 TB unit and I was wondering if anyone with a could answer a few questions I can find covered in marketing info?

  1. the menu includes grahics associated files?
  If I rip and album (or DVD) on the device is the name of the Album, followed by the name and coverage automatically detected by the device?

  2. can anyone recommend a suitable external DVD (or minimum specifications) to buy at the sides of the unit, I read in the manual on the support for this and think it's a good feature to prevent tied up the PC/laptop while initially load my DVD collection.

  3.I would like to be able to use the device on two different TV - it is not a HD and only have a connection SCART (composite).
  I looked for a SCART to HDMI converter / but have not yet found a?

  I bought a STOR. E TV + 1 TB and all I can say is:

  the menu provides a preview of each file, if it is a video clip then it starts playing an overview with images, it displays a small preview pic.
  It does not display the album cover, but will display the name of the file that was copied.

  I would also like to know what external DVD drive is recommended?

• Failed to add video files to iTunes

  I have problems with adding video files in iTunes.

  I use iTunes on a Windows Server 2008R2 x 64-12 GB - lots of disk space

  It was working fine with iTunes 12.0.1.26 and the only reason why I kept this version was so that I could use the old window of properties of the file, but thought I would pass.  So, I've upgraded to iTunes 12.3.2.  Since the installation of this version, I am unable to add video files, I have been ripping my DVD collection.  The process works well until you upgrade.  In the previous version, that I just went to add a file, and it would appear in videos so that I could then change the properties.

  I have followed the steps to uninstall completely and had so it was a completely new installation.  But, I can not even add video files.  iTunes has simply nothing.  I tried to add music and that works very well.

  I tried pointing to the previous file itl iTunes, so it loads to the top of the old library and all my old stuff appears and plays on the Apple TV, but I can not add all the video files more.

  I tried this on another machine, it was a laptop under Windows 10 and the decline in the files fine, so I know that the files are in the correct format and work with iTunes.

  I tried to cover everything, but I may have missed something.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  According to the video format, you can have more joy if you install iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for older video cards) and QuickTime for Windows.

  I just convert a good majority of my DVD collection to mp4 (m4v) and the addition of my library in iTunes (under the general rubric of the videos/movies.  The films are located on an external drive that is connected directly to the computer Mac Pro running iTunes.  The films usually work on 1.5 to 3 GB in size and I have about 1,000 movies on a 5 TB disk.  I'm at the stage now where I try to update information of type by using the selection to read the information.  I quickly discovered that most of the time itunes is completely, hangs or displays a message on 'Update the tags' and then does nothing.  It doesn't seem to be any pattern to the size of the movie, and it will run once on a movie, fails on another but well run on the same film.  The only consisting in this process is that attempts to change several films at the same time result in complete blockage and I have to force quit iTunes.  Honestly, if I had known that this process would be painful, I would have not bought an Apple TV and made this conversion.  Any help would be great, because I can't believe that this process should be so horribly wrong.  Thank you all!

  What is the external hard drive formatted for Mac?  Some external hard drive manufacturers create products for the windows market.  Instead of telling Mac users to reformat the hard drive, they provide a third-party driver that is supposed to make an accessible Windows formatted drive on a Mac, but these drivers can cause problems.

  Run on the Mac disk utility.  Select the disk in the sidebar.  Don't forget to select the Player, not the volume indented below the player.  In the utility window of disk, the Map of Partition (or Scheme of Partition) should be the card Partition GUID.  If it says something else (such as the Master Boot Record), it is not formatted correctly for use with a Mac.

  In addition, select the volume of the drive (the disk icon) on the desktop or in a Finder window.  Right click it and get the information.  The information window, should be its Format Mac OS extended (journaled).

  Back in the sidebar in disk utility, select the disk external volume, indented below the player.  An EMT check on the volume to confirm that there is no alteration of the data on the volume level.

  No, certainly not possible.
  It is not possible to boot from external USB drive.
  As far as I remember most of the laptops and the BIOS supports a booting from USB - FDD / LAN / CD and HARD drive.

• How to play vob on ps3 streaming files

  My goal is to transfer my dvd collection on a 1.5 TB external harddrive and play through my xbox. I can get the DVD to the hard drive without problem, I can see them on the ps3, but they are in one. VOB format and I can get them to play on the ps3, but only files so I don't get that watching 15 minutes of the film then it ends and I have to manually have to go menu, and then select the following file and pick up where I left of to. any body knows a way have to play continuously throughout the movie?

  You need an app for that. Windows will not Vobs post them together and then do a full dvd.

  PlayStation plays everything just the way it is. It comes to be able to play on the xbox... xbox is quite fussy about what he likes to listen to, you can stream xvid, divx and wmv files and that's it. I think that there are also programs that will take the Vobs and compiles them into a somesort avi file which will be playable on the xbox.

  As for this program, I don't know, when I want to do things like that I usually google what I'm trying to make, download the demo of some app, if it works, then I'll buy it, its usually only $ 10 or more. Also check sourceforge.

  I'm two weeks stuck with my predator g3620 needing to be recovered.

  I ordered the recovery media (windows 8) Acer. A ran the first dvd, which has wiped my hard drive. And rebooted my computer desk to be stuck in another screen.

  Now it shows:

  Recovery, reboot and select proper boot device

  Or insert boot media in the selected device and press a key.

  So I tried all 5 dvd collection and pressing the keys. Nothing happened.

  OK, so you've used the DVD drive remove as first drive and it wiped the HARD drive.

  now, you must use a marked BOOTABLE 1/1 to start the recovery process.

  the BIOS settings seems good, strange that F12 at startup did not work because it is enabled.

• Acer desktop after the HORRIBLE system - recovery

  Hi, I recently started to get into trouble when you play all THE games on my computer. Games like World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2 and Guild Wars. They have completely turned off my computer after 1-2 minutes. They even stop it if I left it on the login screen. I had 3 answers after searching the Web. It was either a overheating, lack enough power, or its drivers were not updated. I fixed all 3 and it made me anywhere I e-mailed Acer support and told to try to use the system restore. After you use the system restore, my desktop Acer transformed into a Windows 98 desktop computer, seems. Sound is extremely slow and laggy. I had 96 updates on Windows Update and I was able to download half of them. Others told me to reboot, but when I did, he wouldn't do anything except make me have to use start up repair. When I signed in my computer then it says that my Windows has recovered from an unexpected stops. Also, I have a version dated out of internet explore and cannot update because it says that I need a few other updates update... When I try to download UPDATE it says that it is not compatible. Internet Explorer also only let me go to some sites, or it will indicate that the operation has been aborted. It stops responding once in a while and restart too. I am at a complete loss of ideas and I have absolutely no idea what to do. All the tips, as I said, im at loss full of ideas.

  The only remaining issue at this point would be bad sectors or clusters on the HARD drive. At this point, your only real option would be a HARD drive swap and a reinstallation of the operating system with recovery CD. If you do not have the DVD collection yourself, you should be one of buy online or via Acer Technical Support line.

• Adding new music / artist &amp; retrieval album - need help?

  I have a bunch of DVD I ripped in my library via Windows Media Player - and it is all sorted by album & singer.  It was pretty cut and dry.

  Now I'm moving some of the mp3 files I transferred audio cassette to a mp3 file on my computer and trying to Wade my way through there.

  * I don't know how to get my Windows Media Player v11 to import those tracks in my library.

  Order to get around this - opened my computer and dragged and dropped into my music on the "rocket" file.

  * I can turn on my rocket and listen to the mp3 file, newly added via the "recently added" part of my player - but there is no artist or album folder that I can easily navigate to these audio tracks in the future?

  I guess if I can get these mp3 files in my library - I can tag it and he classify in my player. How should I do for this - OR - are there - it another way to get these mp3 files that are already on my rocket to be categorized without Windows Media Player

  I already had the mp3 tracks saved on my hard drive of the PC.  I just was using the app mp3tag to mark each mp3 file.  I then disabled my Fuze of files not marked - and then by drag and drop the folder newly added on my rocket of the "my computer" screen reader

  Now, everything works like a charm.
