DVD error message

So I hope I can get an answer to my problem

I put a dvd in my blu - ray player to watch. now I can watch it on my laptop without a problem.

BUT as soon as I connect it to my TV via HDMI, I get a message saying that the disc is protected and I can't see it in this mode.

now why wouldn't be able to watch a disc that I bought on my TV?

Help, please!

Press and hold the 'Windows' and 'P' at the same time and choose "Projector" only during playback of a Blu - ray disc on your TV.

  • Qosmio G30-220: HD-DVD via HDMI - error message Impossible to export the signal

    Hello

When I play a HD-DVD on my G30-220 LCD_panel, it works like a charm (with the Toshiba HD - DVD player software).

When I switch to dualview to export the signal through HDMI to my LCD TV (HDCP), I get an error message:

' Cannot implement the signal. Please switch to the internal display "(this is not the exact English message. I get the error message in Dutch and I've translated).

    Hello

As much as I know the dual display is not possible. Either watch you on LCD display or on the TV. The two of them at the same time will not work. Reason because it's the protection against copying, and also because of very high data transfer.

I tested it with Qosmio friends on my LCD HD-ready TV.

  • Error message when you use the DVD player

I have a Satellite P200D and whenever I put a disc any in the drive I get an error NON-DISQUE when I eject the disc. I always make sure I close all programs relating to the use of the disc before you try to take out the drive. It is a new problem that I used the laptop for a few months with no problems at all. The text of the error message is below. Pointers would be appreciated. I can live with that, but it would be nice not to have to.

    Exception Processing Message 0xc0000013 0x764C023C 0x8E4A1B6C 0x764C023C 0x764C023C settings

OK, if you try to exit the disc using the eject button on the side of the laptop, why not try ejection through windows software.

To do this right-click on the dvd drive in my computer, then click "eject". This could mean windows that its ok to let the player go now.

Another solution would be to save all the important data to another drive, and then put the laptop "out of area State" by using the recovery disk. I would say that the problem will disappear.

However, if problems persist, please consult your place of purchase for a check up.

    Good luck.

    Hello

I googled a bit for this error message and it seems that the error would have apparently due to HARD drive failure.
So in your case, it would be desirable to replace the HARD drive and to verify if the error persists using a new HARD drive.

  • Satellite L300-H02: DVD/CD player don't work no-error message 39

    Hi all

I just bought a Toshiba laptop, Vista Premium Edition family and after a massive Windows Update to download, DVD-CD player didn't work. Error message 39, driver damaged or missing. The driver isn't missing, so it must be corrupted. Am savvy with regedit on the dismantling of upper and lower filters in the registry, except haven action t deleting again, because he doesn t seem to be a upper filter listed. Only the lower filter.

The information also indicates that you may lose functionality in certain programs such as CD recording programs. In this scenario, you must reinstall the affected programs. which is a problem, because Vista etc. has already been loaded and any other software provided with the laptop.

I have a little chicken to go ahead and remove the lower filter registry entry, not because there are no upper entry to remove, I have heard some people cannot write to CD after removing the filters in the registry of m.

Where can I get information about the CD-rom drive for this model: pslboa - 08 h 022?

It is not any information about it in system information.

    Thanks in advance people, Anniebird

    Hello

In most cases the entrance of e/s, error message is related to a hardware malfunction (CD/DVD drive).
The readers of the lens laser can not calibrate properly and therefore it can not read the CD inserted.
These errors are not uncommon and occur mostly after a long period of use due to a material stressed.

    But let's check the last possibility of solution;
Go to Device Manager and remove the drive from the list of devices CD/DVD.
Then start the registry (regedit) and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Then, restart the computer and check if it of possible to read CDs.

  • CD/dvd burner writes correctly, but displays the error message ' medium not present-tray closed. - 0X023A01'.

    Hello

I have a unique problem where my cd/dvd burner burn my data to a recordable cd (not verified with recordable dvd yet) correctly, but after the burning process I get an error message "(devMediumNotPresent_TrayClosed) closing session error (Session: 4 medium not present-tray closed. - 0X023A01'.)"

I tried roxio and nero, cdburnerxp, but I get this error on the whole. However, the burn is successful. I can open the data burned in my laptop or other computers and use the same drive to burn more data in the other computer. I tired to reduce speed, but it is of no use. I have also reinstalled the drivers but no use at the end I also did a clean uninstall of Roxio-> then installed Nero-> Nero clean uninstall-> then install Cdburnerxp 4.3.2.2140.

Use the same media brand in my desktop LG cd/dvd combo drive, and things are absolutely perfect.

    Hello

I got my ODD back to normal. The simple solution was to clean the lens of the drive. I called a Dell technician. He inspected the car and found that the problem was due to an unclean lens. In fact, I have never cleaned the lens since I bought the laptop in February 2008. I used a lens cleaner with 6 brushes Writex.

I also checked the drive by
    1. create a Live CD: Ubuntu
    2. a burned DVD
3 burn a different brand CD

Above all 3 tasks are normally carried out with any error. The player read / written correctly.

    Good bye.

  • Try to burn DVDs - software decoding error message

When you try to burn a DVD from Director of windows, he arrives at 2.4% of the coding and then stops and gives the following error message:

"One or more files that have been added in DVD maker may not be decoded properly.  Make sure you have decoding software installed on your computer that can decode the different files and then try again. »

Before these last months, we had no problem burning DVD.  Now, whenever we try, it's the error message that occurs.  I am really a novice when it comes to corrections of the computer, so I'm hoping to get appropriate assistance.  Thank you very much!

Two possibilities come to mind, is an essential Codec you are missing or if you have a defective Codec installed.

Look for defective Codecs in MOVIE Maker via the Tools / Options / Compatibility tab.  Remove all entries except the AVI compressor.  See if you get more than 2.4 percent.

Rule out the possibility of miss some relevant Codecs, discover and download and install something like that and test again.

Basically, the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack is going to play all video files on this planet.

There would also be other causes, then you can try some of these.
