  Locate your CD drive integrated in the device list manager.

  Do a right click on it, it should appear a window with "Disable"... 'Enable '.

  Depends on what you used for the backup.

  If you used the windows backup or another backup software will contain the entire disk will be a backup file, and view/use this file, you use the same software that allows you to save.

  CD player help - I have xp prof and get msg, no disc in drive for insert, when I try to save the file to a cd.  It is only on a new cd. I have a cd that I saved info in in the past and if I put this cd in the player it will open and I am able to write to her, but every time I try a new cd the msg comes that there is no cd in the drive.   My guess is that it is your hardware which is a failure rather than a software problem.

  Please remove all (.dmlp) after the .dmg in the name of the file.

  We are seeing this behavior with users who have installed of MathLab and we look at why this is happening.  FWIW, this happens to other software THAT DMG files as well, not only the installer of Flash Player.  For some reason when users have installed MathLab he adds the extension of .mdlp to the file DMG downloaded when users try to throw rather that opens with DiskImageMounter, which is what OS X uses to open DMG files, it opens using Matlab.  In this case in the future simply remove ".mdlp" from the file name and DiskImageMounter open the DMG, instead of Matlab.
