• Burned DVD shows only not files

  I used CDBURNERXP utility to burn the DVD + R DVD and data disk for music files in 4 sessions. Whenever I did the next session, the latest files from session disappeared. In last 4th session I finalized the disc. Now no data files are read by explorere or player or media player and visible. But the DVD shows 4.11 GB of data. What has gone wrong? My method is faulty? • How to force the Explorer search to show ONLY the files that match the search target?

  I frequently need to search for files with brackets in the name of the file.    However, a bug in the Search Explorer means that search results will fill up with a lot of waste that does not match my search target.

  Example:

  At a command prompt "dir/s * (abc) *.» ' * ' usually works: the name of each file found will contain "(abc)".   (The only time that a search for the command line fails is when the version 8.3 of the name of the file matches the search target, but the name of the actual file does not work.)

  However, in Solution Explorer, look for "* (abc) *.» "*" returns all files with 'abc' in the name, and provides no way to filter the results so that I only see files with '(abc)' in the name of the file.

  This search bug means that you want "* (de) *.» ' * ' at the command prompt returns 72 hits, while searching with Explorer returns 7381 hits!

  Cancellation: Another inconvenience of Windows is when I work at a command prompt I get often unexpected results because the wildcard matching is done against both the full name of the file or folder and the name of 8.3.   Is there a way to force cmd.exe to restrict the wildcard matches only the complete names of the files and folders?  That is to say, is there a way to force cmd.exe to never, ever, use the 8.3 names?

• Remote Desktop shows only not in system properties

  I'm trying to allow connections on a portable computer and connect via the internet on another.
  I've upgraded from vista Home Prem to Win 7 Home Prem 64 bit.
  I am using the MS. Remote Desktop feature  I read MS Help directions.  When I open the System Properties window and go to the Remote tab, I have the current text of Remote Assistance, but there is NO Remote Desktop block in the window.  It's just not there.  Same situation on another laptop that I have improved.  Help indicates that the feature is available in all versions.  Have not loaded all the features during installation, pourrais I be looking in the wrong place or it is not available in the NVA Home Prem?
  Can I access another computer remotely via the internet without this step?
  Also, how can I identify my full computer name (I prefer just using an IP address if possible)?  Not connected to a domain (just an internet connection and the Working Group), how can I find the remote computer?

  I'm sorry, but Windows 7 Home Premium cannot accept office connections remotely on other computers.  This requires the complete edition or professional version.

  All versions of Windows 7 can connect to another computer using Remote Desktop connection.  That's what shows the help file.

  These programs allow Windows 7 Home Premium accepts connections remotely on other computers: TightVNC , TeamViewer , GoToMyPC .

  To use TightVNC, your computer must have an IP address or DNS name.  Dynamics of most of the ISP issue IP addresses, which can change at any time.  You can use a dynamic DNS service like DynDNS or No-IP to give your computer a DNS name.

• Walkman app shows only not my podcast downloaded mp3 and m4a files

  Hi all

  Hope someone can help me with a problem on my Z3 Compact running firmware Lollipop 5.0.2.

  I have a folder on my SD card which contains all my music files in subfolders and all these files will appear in the app Walkman music very well.

  I have also two folders called "Podcasts" - one on the internal memory and the other on the SD card containing mp3 and m4a files that I downloaded using 3rd party applications.

  I would listen to these podcast files using the Walkman application - but they will not appear in Walkman - even if I try the options.but of records it still no poster or Podcast files.

  The strange thing is it lists the voices and sounds / voices rom two different files that are stored on the SD card - SatNav but not records podcast!

  It lists even a folder of files mp3 audio of foreign language - but not the podcast files.

  Podcast files appear in PowerAmp that still shows the labels and descriptions etc... So, why not Walkman?

  I even tried dismantling and reassembly of the SD card to see if it would rescan - but still nothing.

  Any ideas?

  Changed USB mode meteorological service of Canada, cut and pasted the files from the phone on my laptop is turned off and then copied them back again.

  They now appear in Walkman!

• updates show only not in programs

  I have problems with the media center and media player on Vista Home premium. His research as corrupt files somewhwere along the line so I want to remove SP1 and reinstall it.
  Problem is that when I go to programs of the Control Panel, it shows no updates (Yes, I clicked on see the updates and it says no updates installed). I tried to install SP1, and he said: it is already installed.
  I have many other things go wrong like below

  media center does not start, said components are missing
  Media Player will not properly play video files, comes up with an error indicating that the file is in use, the file opens in the background without the sound and the only option in the error box is to close.
  System Restore does not work (do not remember the error message)

  All ideas welcome even if I do not see anything other than a clean install sort this one.

  80% imports fine line data, but some lines are cut.
  
  The bytes in the file are as follows.

  BTW: You said "import into an external table." You import FROM an external table or EXPORT to an external table?

• Text fields show only not in Design or in Live View mode

  Hi all

  I ran into a problem when trying to create a simple through Dreamweaver CS6 contact form.  I have two text fields for the name & Email and 1 text box for comments.  The question that I am running is that text fields are not displayed in Design or in Live view mode.  I have installed all the required variables for the server for the form to work... but that shouldn't have any effect on the demonstration of text field...  I tried to download my contact page with the same result of no list of text fields...

  What is really laughable, it is that the "text box", that I placed in my form for comments appears in Design mode & Live very well.  I think I'm missing something, but don't know what exactly.  The form is rendered by CSS.

  There are other variables that I should think in the rest of my site?  I use a checkerboard to fluid.  I have CSS for office, Tablet and phone devices.  I also have a primary CSS file that imports all three.  Structure sites was conducted through the use of < header >, < article >, < footer > and of course the < div > tags.

  Has anyone already has the "text fields" does not come before? Is this a simple fix like reinstalling Dreamweaver CS6?  Finally, another thing I should mention is that I had a previous version of Dreamweaver on my computer, which was of CS3.  I have do not uninstall before installing the latest version.  I assumed (and I could be wrong here) that it would automatically replace the old version.

  I apoligize for what it is long-winded, but I am looking for help on this issue...

  Take the code you have posted and insert it into a new document in Dreamweaver as it is, record and watch. The fields on the form show? If they do there is something else in your code or the css that is responsible does not appear in this case, we would need to see the entire page and css.

  For me the code in design mode and live mode view shows your form fields.

• Large remote directory shows only the files through M?

  I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 to maintain my blog photo site.

  I have now approximately 3,500 photos on my site.  All photos are displayed in my local blog/images directory.

  But in my remote blog/images directory, I see that the pictures whose name begins with a number or one of the letters A to M.  It's as if Dreamweaver is mowing the half view files.

  Is there a way to tell him not to do it?

  I don't really want to split the directory into two, as then I have to change almost 2 000 image tags in the archives of the blog...

  Can you be sure it's DW and not the server? Have you tried other FTP programs to check? Quite possible the server limit the list for performance reasons. If so, the only way to be sure would be to split the files in separate directories, but I guesss what all your files beyond M are properly stored on the server, but does not.

  I have an iPhone and a MacBook and I enabled two-factor authentication, but my MacBook does not appear as a trusted device, that is, I can only receive a two factors on my iPhone and not my Mac code.  I didn't even know that my MacBook could get a code of two factors, until my wife was connecting some Apple related sites while using the MacBook and she got an authentication code.

  I would like to have my work MacBook as a trusted device, so I have two secure devices, instead of one.

• Downloader icon shows only not in the menu bar?

  I noticed after updating Firefox 12.0 4.9.9 the Downloadhelper icon appears at the top left as around the menu bar.

  However, after some adjustments, he appeared in the status bar that is painful.

• Apple TV (4th) shows only not in iTunes for a restore

  I have an Apple TV dev (October 2015) and I want to restore it. I followed the instructions of Your Apple TV with iTunes - Apple Support of restoration but the Apple TV does not appear in iTunes. I use a USC - C female USB adapter (purchased in an Apple store at the recommendation of Apple employees to connect the Apple TV and a USB 2 connection USB 2 cable given Apple adapter to the USB port of an iMac (iMac12, 1).) I did everything in the recommended sequence:

  Unplug the HDMI cable cable and the power of your Apple TV.

  Open iTunes on your computer. Make sure you have the latest version. (12.3.1.23)

  Connect the USB - C or Micro USB cable to the back of your Apple TV and to a USB port on your computer. (see above)

  If you have an Apple TV (3rd or 4th generation), connect the power supply cable.

  It does not show in iTunes. What should I do?

  PS I can't help but wonder why there is a USB cable to the lightning with the Apple TV, which cannot be used at all with an Apple TV instead of a USC - C to a USB cable which could be used to connect a Mac.

  Since you have a Dev system you may be better off in the Dev forum, I guess there's little about the community of users who have experience with what difference there is between dev and consumer...
