Dynamic action with multiple values of PL/SQL Expression as a condition

Hel

I am currently using Apex 4.0 for a schoolproject.

I have two selectlists (P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE - which has al businessruletypes) and (P8_OPERATOR) that has a select statement based on the businessruletype.

I want to hide the selectlist operator when P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 7,8,9 and 10 or P8_OPERATOR = 9

When: change

SelectionType article (s)

Elements P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE

condition: equal to 10

Real actions: hide items p8_operator

False actions: show p8_operator items

ConditionType PL/SQL EXPRESSION

: P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 10 OR: P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 8 OR: P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 7 OR: P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 9

What is the problem with my dynamic action? Because he does not hide the operatorfield when businessruletype 10 or 9 are selected in the selectlist. Sessions has also said operator = 9 and Businessruletype = 10

I hope you guys can help out me.

Thank you very much.

The first thing is that a Condition that is applied to a control of dynamic action if the dynamic action is made the see page. She has therefore no impact on the question of whether the actions of true or false are performed. Control conditions which are those defined in the when the properties of the dynamic action. As they are evaluated in the browser, they must be specified as JavaScript.

Secondly, this expression is not valid because it is a space between the colon and the identifiers. Link the names of rating, the colon and the variable element must be contiguous:

:P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 10 OR :P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 8  OR :P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 7 OR :P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE = 9

However the latter is only of academic interest, in this case you need to remove the condition of dynamic action.

In the dynamic of change when action section, P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE, P8_OPERATOR, Condition of JavaScript Expressionand value to the value of the item (s)

   ($v('P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE') == '7')
|| ($v('P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE') == '8')
|| ($v('P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE') == '9')
|| ($v('P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE') == '10')
|| ($v('P8_OPERATOR') == '9')

If you are using a browser that supported, this can be simplified to

   (['7', '8', '9', '10'].indexOf($v('P8_BUSINESSRULETYPE')) >= 0)
|| ($v('P8_OPERATOR') == '9')

  • dynamic action sets the value of the element, but not save to DB on submit

    I'm working on a page where the value of several to show only the page elements are defined using a dynamic Action.  They are set when the user selects a value in a list of selection (and is based on the value of the selection list).  Dynamic action is triggered on a list selection change event and then runs the real action "set the value.  The selection list displays the names of sales representative.  The three fields dynamically filled are the org structure (that is, their chain management).

    For the action to set the value, I use a defined Type of SQL statement:

    Select VP, DIR, MGR

    of SALES_ORG where SSR =: P20_SSR

    In the affected elements, I have fixed Type of selection to the 'item (s)"and the value of the Item (s) for 'P20_GVP, P20_DIR, P20_MGR.

    Dynamic action works fine for the display of the page (that is, when I select a sales representative in the selection list dynamic action properly updated only display value fields three).  This page is a form in which the user submits information relating to the rep.  When the page is sent, all fields are filled in a new record of DB with the exception of three that were populated dynamically above.  These fields get the values NULL.

    When the dynamic action updates the values in the three fields is - it does not set the value of session?  Why these fields don't are not taken into account in the submit other ideas > process Page?

    I use 5 APEX with Chrome on Mac (Yosemite).

    Thanks for the note.  I didn't only display the items could not be used in this way.  I think I'll take a different approach with the design; given that the org structure is in another table that I can simply refer to that by rep when necessary rather than saving the information uploaded to the page of the form.  The reason why I have not fill the screen only the points of loading the page is because I don't know what the values should be until the user selects a sales representative in the selection list.

    I'll change the design to one of the following:

    1) change the display only items of standard text field.  NOTE: if I make the text read-only field that causes other problems when loading (I get the message "violation of protection Session state").

    OR

    2) do not include org structure in the download folder and just refer to table org Rep when necessary.

    Thank you!

  • Dynamic action with refreshment area interactive report

    Hello!

    I use APEX 4.02

    I have a page with 2 regions.
    Region1 is a form (of entry)
    Region.2 is an interactive report on the same table as region 1

    When you enter values in the form I'm trying dynmically similar research records in the table with the interactive report.

    I made a dynamic action on the change of form fields that must refresh the interactive report region. I can see this one fires if I add an alert to debug if it fires.
    The dynamic report is based on a query with bind variable pointing to the fields in the form, for example
    where
    Field1 =: P2_FIELD1

    It works fine on the page loading, so no action is triggered, but I see the lines in the region of report are the ones I'm looking for.
    The updating of the report area does not work, but it is never nice and/or showing the correct data after a change of form fields, if it looks like the dynamic action "refresh the region" does not work on the interactive report.

    Any ideas why it can go wrong?
    I want to solve this problem using standard dynamic actions and preferably not via PL/SQL or JS, should be possible if I believe documentation... ;)

  • Help with dynamic Action with pl/sql and Javascript

    Hi all
    I'm a little hard with the following and I was wondering if someone can help me.
    My test app is here:
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=32581

    workspace: Leppard
    Login: guest
    pw: app_1000

    Tab: DB Link (page 19)
    I have a list of unique selection on the page that queries a table in my diagram.

    This is the flow that works, but not the user experience I want:
    User clicks on the button Create Page 19 > the next page, page 20, appears as a popup window > user enters the name of the link = "MyLink" (or other) and one unit number, i.e. 1234 (or other) > user clicks 'Create using process' button > success message > user closed the window to return to the page 19 > user clicks LOV refresh to refresh the list of selection so that the new value is displayed.

    That's what I'm aiming for: user clicks on the button Create Page 19 > the next page, page 20, appears as a popup window > user enters the name of the link = "MyLink" (or other) and one unit number, i.e. 1234 (or other) > user clicks button "create using the DA ' > dynamic action is called running pl/sql closes the popup window and refreshes the list of selection on page 19.

    I know that I have some problems with my dynamic action. First of all, the pl/sql is not yet recognize the values that I enter the fields in item on page 20. I created a first pl/sql "null;" to force these items in session state, but it does not work for me and the pl/sql just inserts a null value into my table. Secondly, I can't get javascript to fire code to refresh the list of selection on page 19. The code I use in the DA is the same thing as what is behind the button refresh LOV, so I am confident that the code works, I just can't get this fire click the button "create using the DA" on page 20.

    Sorry if this is confusing - I can clarify if necessary, let me know. Thanks in advance. Of course I'm still learning...

    I modified your DA as follows.

    In real Action of DA,.

    1 Seq 10, I added the element page 20 Page points to submit and return Pagenames. You forgot to add items here
    2 Seq 20, I changed your simple code to insert. Simple code just insert
    3 Seq 30, I added the new code to close the window and reload the window open.

  • Use Dynamic Actions with pl/sql, calling a javascript alert function

    Hello

    I use Apex 4.0.1.00.03 with IE7.

    The problem I have is:

    I am converting an Oracle Forms application that has a lot of logic in it. In the application forms, it is a pl/sql function, based on a If/else condition call a popup alert box, which displays a warning message. He called pl/sql functions that return raising to the IF statement.

    Example of pl/sql code:

    If check_records() > 0 Then
    message to the alert box
    ElsIf TypeA_record then
    message to the alert box
    On the other
    message to the alert box
    End If;

    I need to replicate this functionality to the Apex 4. I tried to create dynamic Action on a page element, using a pl/sql function, however, when I call the popup javascript, this code not popup an alert box. I need the pl/sql to be run when the element of the page changes, not when the page is sent.

    The code I used to test the pl/sql code, which does not work in dynamic Actions > pl/sql is:

    Begin
    HTP.p ("< script type =" text/javascript"> '");
    HTP.p ("alert ("today runs javascript code!");"
    );
    HTP.p ("< /script >");
    End;

    I need to create a pl/sql function that can do alert areas based on an IF condition.

    Could someone point me in the right direction? Using dynamic shares the best way forward? I need to trigger on a page element, change the value.

    Works fine now.
    In the javascript code, I changed:

    get.addParam ('x 01', $v ('P105_PREP_TYPE'));

    by

    get.addParam ('x 01', $v ('P1_PREP_TYPE'));

    P1_PREP_TYPE is the correct name of the element.
    Now when I choose the OTHER, 1 message.

  • Dynamic action - defining the value of affected parts

    Hello

    I'm a little trouble trying to set the value of several items affected in dynamic Action (refresh the number of the part to Page 2). Page 2 I want the user to select the order number and fill in the items combines automatically, for example part number Descr. I can make it work for Part_Number, but the same value appears when I add P2_DESCR to items assigned to set the value. I'm probably doing something really stupid!

    http://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/Apex/f?p=11536:2

    Kind regards

    Mickey

    Hi Mickey,

    It is not as easy as it should be, even. You certainly do not make something stupid at all!

    Currently the action 'Set value' support only 1 distinct value. You might have other 'Action' within the same dynamic action that returns the other element you want, but it's inefficient, you need to make 2 round trips to the server to retrieve each value. We are looking for the opportunity to put multiple values without needing more trips to go back out of the box in a future release, but for now I think the best approach is to use a custom mix of dynamic measurements, JavaScript and a level of page AJAX callback.

    For this example, I use the EMP table, where the user selects the number and the name of the employee and employment are returned, but the technique can be used for your situation.

    1. Add a page 'AJAX Callback' called 'GET_EMP_INFO', make the type "PL/SQL" with a "Point of process" of "On Demand - run this process when requested by AJAX ' and add the following code:

      begin
          for c in (select ename, job from emp where EMPNO = to_number(:P1_EMPNO)) loop
           apex_util.set_session_state('P1_ENAME', c.ename);
              apex_util.set_session_state('P1_JOB', c.job);
              /* Add more set_session_state calls here if you want to return more item values */
          end loop;
          apex_util.json_from_items('P1_ENAME:P1_JOB'); /* Add more here for returning more values */
      end;

    2. Create a dynamic action "Advanced" (because we need to use the action "Run JavaScript Code"), with the following attributes:

      • 'Change' - to the fire of the dynamic action every time the number value used change event.

      • Selection of Type 'Article (s)' - to be able to select the element of page employee number.

      • Article (s) "P1_EMPNO" - the page employee number element.

      • Real Action "to execute JavaScript Code. If you want details on the loading of the page as well, make sure that the 'Fire when loading the Page' checkbox is checked. Add the following "Code":

        var get = new htmldb_Get(null, $v('pFlowId'), 'APPLICATION_PROCESS=GET_EMP_INFO', $v('pFlowStepId'));
        get.add('P1_EMPNO', $v('P1_EMPNO'));
        gReturn = get.get();
        json_SetItems(gReturn)
        get = null;

    So, basically, that's all. I recommend this approach for now, until better support us in native mode to set multiple values, or a plug-in dynamic action arises that does just that!

    Hope that helps.

    Kind regards
    Anthony.

  • Condition of dynamic Action with and/or Expression Javascript

    Hello

    Anyone know if it is possible to have multiple values assessed in a Javascript Expression in dynamic Action?  For a DA on click of a button with status as a Javascript Expression, I want it to be worth...

    $v ('P5_ITEM_1')! == « X » || $v ('P5_ITEM_2') is nothing

    Therefore all true subsequent actions should be triggered when the P5_ITEM_1 is not equal to add or P5_ITEM_2 is null.  This does not work for me.  Only the first condition seems to be considered. The second seems to be ignored.  In other words, I can pass the two around and I have rated P5_ITEM_2 and the other ignored.

    Thoughts?

    -Seth.

    If you would like to evaluate both conditions then have nested If statements or use and operator instead where operator

    in one or the Organizer if the 1st condition is true then the whole expression must be set to true so that the rest are not evaluated

  • Cannot get 'IN' text field with multiple values.

    I have a text field (P11_SERIAL_NUMBERS) someone would use to enter multiple values (i.e. of the serial numbers). I tested various methods but can't seem to get anything working. I used values such as ' 12929', '19191' or ('11919', ' 19192 ', ' 1111') or 12121,121333.»

    I have to analyze this area after the entrance is and update P11_SERIAL_NUMBER to something like ("121212 ', 121211', '292929'). The report is a SQL query returning the body of a PL/SQL function. I build the query in an anonymous block to something like the following:

    SELECT apex_item.checkbox (1, instance_number) Ins,.
    apex_item. Text(2,i.instance_number) instance_number.
    apex_item. Text(3,i.item_number) item_number.
    description of the apex_item. Text(4,i.Description),
    Serial_number apex_item. Text(5,i.serial_number),
    i.party_name,
    i.status_name
    Cycsi_item_details_v I have
    WHERE i.item_number IN (SELECT v.item_number FROM cycsi_installed_base_v WHERE v.serial_number = i.serial_number v)
    AND i.item_number AS NVL ('%' |') XLA' | ' %','%')
    AND NOT EXISTS (SELECT d.item_serial_number FROM cy_fco_d, d WHERE d.fco_id = 2803 AND d.item_serial_number = i.serial_number) AND i.serial_number IN ('61763 ', ' 61621');

    However, when I enter several values that nothing ever went back to the SUMMIT even though the SQL query returns more rows. I run the application in debug mode and it seems to show the values correctly.

    0.11: show report
    0.12: determine the column headings
    0.12: analyze the query such as: TRAFFIC
    0.15: binding: ": P11_MODEL_NUMBER"= "P11_MODEL_NUMBER" value = "XLA"»
    0.16: binding: ": P5_FCO_ID"= "P5_FCO_ID" value = "2803"»
    0.17: binding: ": P11_SERIAL_NUMBERS"= "P11_SERIAL_NUMBERS" value = '(' 61621', ' 61763')""
    0.19: print the column headings
    0.19: loop lines: 15 rows
    No data found

    If I add only a serial number at a time as the APEX application returns the line correctly.

    Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong or what best way to solve this problem?
    Thank you

    Published by: Jennifer on July 13, 2010 15:23

    Hi John,.

    I just tried a report region based on PL/SQL query encoded using your method to refer to element names in the query string of back:

    declare
       q varchar2(100) := 'select ename, job from emp';
    begin
       if :P2_ENAMES is not null then
            q := q || ' where ename in :P2_ENAMES';
       end if;

       wwv_flow.debug('*** Query: ' || q);

       return q;
    end;

    As I suspected, he did not work for me P2_ENAMES was ('KING') or ('KING', 'SMITH'). I think it's because of the reason for which I gave in my previous post - ApEx passes off the coast of the dynamic execution of SQL string, it does not automatically replace the mention: P2_ENAMES with the value of the element. I don't know how it can work for you.

    If I change the code I proposed:

    declare
       q varchar2(100) := 'select ename, job from emp';
    begin
       if :P2_ENAMES is not null then
            q := q || ' where ename in ' || :P2_ENAMES;
       end if;

       wwv_flow.debug('*** Query: ' || q);

       return q;
    end;

    It works very well if one or several names are specified.

    I took a blow to modify your code for the construction of the query string - does not immediately guarantee, it'll work because I can't test (might be missing a parenthesis or quotation) it but you should get the idea:

    -- start with initial valid query that ApEx can parse to determine column names
    q := 'SELECT apex_item.checkbox(1, instance_number) ins, apex_item.text(2, i.instance_number) instance_number,
                 apex_item.text(3, i.item_number) item_number, apex_item.text(4, i.description) description,
                 apex_item.text(5, i.serial_number) serial_number, i.party_name, i.status_name
            FROM cycsi_item_details_v i
           WHERE i.item_number IN (SELECT v.item_number
                                     FROM cycsi_installed_base_v v
                                    WHERE v.serial_number = i.serial_number)';

    -- add model number condition if specified
    if :P11_MODEL_NUMBER is not null then
       q := q || ' AND i.item_number LIKE ''%' || :P11_MODEL_NUMBER || '''%''';
    end if;

    -- add serial numbers condition if specified
    if :P11_SERIAL_NUMBERS is not null then
       q := q || ' AND i.serial_number IN (' || :P11_SERIAL_NUMBERS || ')';
    end if;

    -- add FCO id condition if specified
    if :P5_FCO_ID is not null then
       q := q || ' AND NOT EXISTS (SELECT d.item_serial_number
                                     FROM cy_fco_d d
                                    WHERE d.fco_id = ' || :P5_FCO_ID || '
                                      AND d.item_serial_number = i.serial_number)';

    I know that has focused on getting this code works, but I would be remiss in my duties if I didn't at least mention the risk of SQL injection. You may already know this, but unless you do a good job to validate the values of the element used in the query, you could open yourself up to a SQL injection attack. For example, imagine what that would be returned if a hacker sharp entered "12345) GOLD (1 = 1" in the field of P11_SERIAL_NUMBERS - you would get all that may or may not be a security problem.

    Hope this helps,
    John

  • Dynamic action - set a value of element based on the selection of lines of report

    Hi people,

    Does anyone have an example how to set up a dynamic action, which could fill an element with the selected ID based on the selection of line of the report on the same page?

    Demo:

    If I select an item in the report, then I would fill in 'Selected ID' element with the value of the selected report EMPNO line.

    Later, I would use it for the display of parts of master / detail on the same page.

    Thank you very much

    For this sample page, add the following JS code to run when the page is loaded.

    $('.highlight-row td').click( function(){
      //fetch record id from the cell contents of first column in row
      id = $(this).parent().children('td:eq(0)').text();
      //set page item to selected id
      $('#P2_SELECTED_ROW').val(id);
    });
