  It recognizes the attributes 64 and 65, but the Tunnel-private-group-id, which contains the actual number of VLAN is not supported. How can I assign the vlan OK if this attribute is not taken in charge? Does not work with a string corresponding to the name VLAN on the switch either.

  In short, we have a WLC4402 (50 AP license) and about 30 1252 s towers in place. At the moment we have three VLANS / SSID in place - one for admin, to teachers and students. The WLC uses a server for MS Windows 2003 running IAS for PEAP authentication. Windows XP, the SSID clients entered manually based on "prior designation" 'type' laptop (admin, teacher or student).

  It works very well. However more frequently our users were 'sharing' portable computers so a student can need to use his laptop computer and vice versa. In short, we would like to use the dynamic assignment of VLANS / SSID as well as if a student has the teacher, 'students' laptop VLAN / SSID would receive them when connect (and apply the appropriate ACL, QoS policies, etc.)

  We have found the documents on how to do that with a CBS, but is there something available for this configuration with a MS IAS server.

  All entry information would be greatly appreciated.

  The installer works fine with the Server IAS Ms. You must set the options for RADIUS (3 of them) which are documented in the ACS similar article of the same ilk. You can have one SSID, using RADIUS authentication and have the Active Directory to determine the membership to a vlan based on the group.

  The RADIUS attribute parameters are

  Tunnel-Type = Vlan

  Tunnel-Pvt-Group-ID = vlanid

  Tunnel-Medium-Type = 802

  I also like to set

  Ignore-User-Dialin-Properties = True

  You must create some policies in IAS to match your windows groups and set the id vlan correct. A separate policy of IAS by vlan.

  Set the attributes RADIUS by political IAS and ad group or however you plan on the determination of the membership.

  If you want to use RADIUS for administration, you must also define a separate policy that defines the RADIUS of the Service Type administrative = attribute

  Hello.   With about 4 off all 5 IPS that my ISP dynamically assigns to the WAG325N, I find that I can't get ftp access to a web server provided by another company.  All the problematic addresses begin with the same number, and get round it I have to spend off the WAG325N and put it on completely I get a 'good' address.  Is there a way I can put the WAG325N dismiss dynamically assigned this particular scope IP addresses?

  Sorry if this is a stupid question - networking is not exactly my strong point!  I looked in the User Guide but could not find anything.  Would appreciate any suggestions.  Thank you.

  Try to get a static IP address from your ISP and set your gateway to static IP and that should solve your problem...

• Dynamic assignment of users

  I'm trying to assign users within my process and need advice with her dynamic way. The next two steps describe briefly what I'm trying to reach

  I depends. If you can get to this side server, it woulb be better. If you need to make a change to something, you don't want to change the shape.

  I'm not sure where the logic for the next user, but you could make a database or web service gives the word of the process to get the next user instead.

• WLC / ACS / AD - domain and laptops no - domain (802. 1 X / PEAP)

  Hi all

  I implement a solution based on 4404 WLC, 1113 ACS and Microsoft AD. What I want to achieve is to have two WIFI (SSID), that can be used by users on laptops of the domain, the other can be used by the users in the domain on personal laptops. Field portable computers will have full connectivity, but personal laptops will be restricted.

  I created the two SSID using 802. 1 X by ACS / Remote Agent and can authenticate and connection OK.

  I thought I should have user auth and auth machine for laptops of area but just user auth for personal laptops.

  I have unauthenticated machines go to one group ACS or blocked, but I need to enable them in if they are on the SSID restricted. I can't quite understand how to have two SSID is authenticating with the same ACS / AD - one green and the other.

  I'm on the right track?

  Anyone done this before or have any bright ideas?

  With the use of WLAN access based on the SSID, users can be authenticated based on the SSID they use to connect to the WLAN. The Cisco Secure ACS server is used to authenticate users. Authentication happens in two stages on the Cisco Secure ACS:

  1 authentication EAP

  2 resulting SSID authentication of network (NARS) on Cisco Secure ACS Access Restrictions

  GANYMEDE + Auth-Proxy is only supported after ACS 5.3 patch 5. Upgrade your ACS 5.x or use RADIUS for authentication Proxy.

• ACS, Service access and authorization

  I'm under ACS 5.2 and I'm trying to set up 3 new SSID, which 2 are not guaranteed and 1 which is secure.  I'm trying to understand the best way to allow their evolution on which network they come.  All authentication requests are from the same devices, LAN controllers without wire, so NDG cannot be used as criteria.  I was watching either create 3 Access Services and using selection rules, or by creating 1 Service access and using permission to choose.  However, I can't find an attribute to use for determining what network they came.

  Anyone has a suggestion for the best way to do it?  I have

  Go to the elements of the policy-> Conditions of network-> end of Station filters and create a rule CLI/DNIS that includes the name of the SSID, and then use it as a condition to any rule you create for authentication. The SSID will be preceded by MAC address, then enter * ssidname (i.e., match whatever it is before the name SSID, then match the SSID). For example, if the SSID is called lab, then you must enter * lab.

  Then go to access-> Service selection policies and create a service selection rule that has end Station filter as a criterion.

  Cisco and Juniper, both works well with GANYMEDE

  I can connect both the use of SSH or Telnet but my problem is the Juniper J-Web GUI

  I can't access the J-web no problem with the root account.

  Well Yes, you can't have a space between the name of the seller, I case that after loading the file I do not have the attribute of the GBA unit, but can see logging. After the reboot of the ACS that's ok.

• Problem ACS 4.0 and Server RSA Token

  We are having a problem trying to get 4.0 for Windows GBA authenticate users on a Server Token RSA wireless.

  Our Cisco 1200 AP series is configured for WPA2 and LEAP Authentication. He points to the ACS server for RADIUS authentication. Now, it works very well for users with a static password defined on the internal database of GBA. However, for obvious security reasons, we? d as the transmitted authentication to our server internal RSA.

  I installed RSA Agent on the same server as the ACS along (after adding the sdconf.rec file in the System32 folder). The RSA server was added to the ACS external database and a user configured to use the Token RSA server for password.

  When we try to authenticate, the ACS fails the attempt with reason? External DB passes invalid?. The same user can authenticate successfully during the use of the RSA test authentication tool that is installed on the ACS server under the RSA Agent software.

  After running some debugs a pix in front of the servers, I see traffic to and from the servers when you use the test tool (that works), but it looks like GBA doesn't? t even send traffic to the RSA server during authentication.

  Any help or advice appreciated.

  no no no no! Do not use EVER of RSA with WIFI + PAP.

  The token + pin can be sniffed and is good for 60 seconds... on the Wifi which is disastrous.

  I don't know if it's something that Edge did, or if I missed it just described in the documentation somewhere. In a project based on something like the Marionette (or frame) AKA, I have a view/templating system. Is it possible for me to take an animation produced in border and affect the items I want that it to appy to?

  With the help of puppets for example. Suppose I have a CollectionView. I start adding models in the underlying Collection that will make my ItemViews be added and rendered in the browser. Once an ItemView is made and shown, I would like to trigger an animation "transition in" on the elements within that view.

  To put it in terms of edge. If I install a few symbols and animate, lets say: title and brief Description. I wish I could reach in and say ' Hey, take all the chronologies applied to this symbol and apply to this element that I chose that represents my title and take all deadlines for this symbol and apply them to my short Description. " All applied? Play now. »

  After digging through the source, I guess that's not easy to do, but I thought I'd ask to double check, in case missed me something.

  OK, I had solved it at least a proof of the concept level. I wrote a utility to analyze the file of _edge.js of you get editing and I extracted the animations and reconstruct them dynamically with a dynamic composition that I need them, and then wrap them in a custom Marionette.Controller.

  With my limited testing, it works like a champ.

  I use Robohelp 7 HTML and am trying to assign information types to books and pages. The types of information are defined, but I have no way of assigning them to books and topics. All my categories are marked as "inclusive".

  The file Adobe Hep says that:

  1. Click view > pods > list of topics. The list of topics is displayed.

  2. In the list of topics, select the topic.

  3. Click on properties.

  4. Click the Types of information...

  There is no such label.

  You do not have something wrong. What you have done, it is falling on a feature of HTML help that was never properly and fully implemented. I've had a play with the Types of information in 2000 and concluded that they were not worth the effort.

  On the one hand, they are far from intuitive for end users. An end user must know they exist, then with the right button of the table of contents and choose to sort the table of contents for the Information Type (or types) that are available.

  If you choose to continue with the Types of information, I believe that the process you follow is to create types. Looks like you got that far. In the table of contents you click then the books and Pages, then look at the properties. On the dialog box that follows, you click on the Advanced tab and check the option of the Types of information that can be used. Then, you assign types by clicking on the button Add... down.

  As the types of information are used only with the table of contents, it is not surprising, there is nothing in properties to deal with them. In addition, they don't apply to the CHM format and are totally moot if your output is WebHelp or FlashHelp.

  My best advice would be to suggest Adobe there is incorrect information in the help. I will do this with the comment that you posted in the help topic. I just opened RoboHelp X 5 and even as far as X 5 there is no information Types tab in the properties of the section.

  You must have an understanding of how web, application servers, domain names, dns and http servers work. It is beyond the scope of a few quick responses on a forum!

  Put the scripts that you have developed in the web root or subfolder name for the domain that you have been delveoping on the production web server.

  Access to said domain or subfolder in the web browser and test.

  a customer wants to implement assignment of VLANs with 802 dynamics. 1 x. The customer has the following facilities, Cisco ACS 4.1 for Windows, Cisco ASA 5540, CSA 5.2 with CSA MC, several routers and Cisco switches.

  Now, the questations are, we can implement assignment of vlan dynamic without a unit of the ANC and the customer also wants to decide between customers with real antivirus signatures and the old signatures. Older clients are denied access to the anti-virus server and the update of the signature and if everything is ok, to have access to the internal network.

  How could implement us this without a new hardware or software?

  You can have a look on the frame of the NAC system. If you want only the posture validate cable customers then there no extra components to buy. If you want to go wireless, you will likely need to buy a Cisco client that supports wireless. You can get the configuration from here guide:

  I suggest you prototype and see what you think, the good thing is that you can deploy on a per switchport basis so you can make the installer on ACS without disturbing what is there already and apply it by configuring the switch.
